can i use the RAM chips of a dead uni to upgrade another to 128mb? - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

as the title suggests.. i have a dead universal (no power, no boot loader, etc) and i'm wondering if i can remove the ram chips off it and piggy back them to my working universal for a 128mb RAM upgrade..

No, you need to solder off the existing 64mb chips and replace them with 128mb chips. You can not just 'add' another 64mb.

thought so..
back in the days of my iPAQ they used to stack memory chips and it worked just as fine..

Universal was first made on WM2003

Universal was first made on Windows Mobile 2003,which must has 128MB RAM.CeBIT 2005 had a Universal(T-Mobile MDA PRO),which has WM2003 and 128MB RAM.That's the reason why universal has two empty solder spots left on the motherboard.

It will be nice to still have 128MB of RAM
Lost all data when battery gone 0%.

I will pay for a WM6 rom to a TI Omap 730 smartphone.

This phone has a TI Omap 730 processor, 2.8" lcd touch screen, 1gb t-flash, 64mb memory, bluetooth.
It runs WM5 and I need it to run WM6. I'm not sure how hard this would be but if someone could make it happen I could pay them, I have paypal.
The manufacture tells me it would be very hard to do, but if it can run WM5 why not WM6? Maybe it is not so simple, any advice would be appreciated.

storage cards???

anyone know where i can find a 8+ gb storage card that works for my AT&T tilt?
8 GB is the biggest you can get at the moment. I don't know where you're located, but this shop is usually good and has a decent price:
http://mobymemory.com/products/SanD...SDHC)-memory-card-with-Sandisk-USB-reader.asp
i saw that the tilt can reach higher capacities than the 8gb card does anyone know where i can find those at? i saw this but it dont look like the right one.

As was previously stated, the largest memory that is manufactured for the Tilt/Kaiser/TyTN II at the moment is an 8 GB microSDHC.

[Q] Missing chunk of storage unaccounted for?

This math doesn't seem to add up?

which is far from 28.13? I'm missing about 6.54gb? Anyone know where it went?
Roms/Backups on the SD? @ 230+mb a piece 4 roms is pretty much a gb alone and (for me at least) a single TWERP backup is almost 2gb.

[DISCUSSION] Mifare Desfire EV1 - Logic Analyzer on the chip itself

Hey Guys,
I've been researching MiFare Desfire EV1 (AES Crypto) and was wondering if anyone has successfully filed a card down, exposed the interconnects (Links between CPU and RAM/EEPROM) and used a Logic Analyzer to sniff the master key being copied/compared in RAM?
Here's an image from the datasheet.
