[Q] Cant install my apk's ... Debugging mode on but getting error message - Fire TV Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have been able to side-load before no problem. used one-drive and es file explorer to download and install apps no problem. Recently though, I am unable to do so. After the last update I guess it turned debugging mode off. I turned it back on and restarted FTV but am still getting an error message that reads something like" cannot install apps from unknown source, go to settings..." or whatever it says. But when I go to settings...debugging mode is on??? Anyone else have trouble?

Thanks.
have you lunched chrometophone on the phone yet and set up the account again?
Yes, have tried un-installing from phone, and re-installing. My browser says it had been sent to phone but I don't receive it.
Just to repeat TheGhost1233's response to your question:
You've installed Chrome To Phone on your device. But have you launched it and gone through the brief setup process on your device?
Yes, it did work, my phone tells me it's set up, I ticked the box ' launch links automatically ', but nothing happens.

[Q] Problem with download after root

I am having problems downloading anything whatsoever except things from the market. I unlocked the bootloader and just rooted it. No rom installed. The button for installing programs is checked. Whenever I try to download either through the browser, gmail or sms it says that the download was unsuccessful. It trys to attempt the download, but just keeps giving me error messages in my download file. Any help please!!

infinite pop-ups on phone reboot

Hi there
It all started once I accepted Android 6 load from T-Mobile.
After the update, I started to get an error message when I was trying to open settings.
I did hard reset to get back to factory settings, but guess what? Now I am getting this pop-up when phone boots, so I am not able to use the phone at all anymore.
USB mode is not set after reset, so I can NOT connect phone to pc to try to manage it....
Anything I can do in that situation?
Thanks!
I cannot attach a picture, so if you want to check it, see the post on another forum I did yesterday....
go to androidforumsDOTcom and search for "infinite pop-ups on phone reboot" on it....

Manufacturer blocked unknown sources -Any way around this?

Hi all,
Trying to install some apps on a connected car Android system. Apparently the manufacturer (probably intentionally) blocked the "unknown sources" option in settings by removing the OK button of the warning message (see image).
Trying to figure out ideas on how to turn it on. I have no root, no ADB, USB connectivity is limited to host mode only.
I do have access to Play store and developer options.
I'm running out of ideas here.... willing to give a small bounty if it'll help you.
