Carbon fiber wrap for Tab S3 ? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Accessories

Wondering if anyone has put carbon fiber wraps on the backside of the Tab S3? I wanted to wrap it because I feel it is very prone to breakage and I think the wrap actually makes it strong and very cool looking. What are your thoughts?

Carbon Fiber Tab S3 Skin
Sorry to super-necro this thread, but I managed to find an awesome carbon fiber skin for this tablet on Amazon. It was only like 8 or 10 dollars and has a super premium feel and it hasn't peeled back or anything.

I don't think it's actually a shell, but rather a skin that is applied

"BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber is the ultimate in expression and protection for your Galaxy Tab 10.1. Each carbon fiber skin is custom designed to fit your Galaxy Tab 10.1 and provide tough scratch protection.
Made from a strong PVC based film, Armor Carbon Fiber is simple to install and can be easily removed. The carbon fiber pattern is stylish and smooth to the touch. Armor Carbon Fiber is very thin and will not add bulk to your Galaxy Tab 10.1."
And reading from that, its not even carbon fiber but actually pvc. I really think they should make that more clear.

It's the standard 3M Carbon-Fiber Di Noc film that peels & sticks on that has been around for a year. I have it on my laptop and like it. I also had it on my iPhone but didn't like it. It's made of a textured vinyl and is definitely not related to carbon fiber in any way. It is a nice product though,

Skin (not case) for back or sides that improves grip/tack?

I don't like skins as screen protectors but I do like the extra grip/tack that they add,on the other parts of the phone, without the bulk of a true case. Can anyone recommend a skin? I don't mind if it's something where I have to buy a full set that includes screen protection as I'll just save it or give it to my wife.
I've been lucky so far but if my nexus S was any indicator I will at some point drop this sucker if I don't give it a tiny bit more grip.
I have the skinomi carbon skin on my nexus. its not exactly rubberized or anything but it does provide some grip. the texture is crosshatched lines, it stays in my hands without slipping. it also protects from scratches very well. You could probably shop around and find cheaper carbon fiber skins... it was just the cheapest when i bought it. hope this helped. http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi-TechS...KTQ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325513190&sr=8-1

Video Review: BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber Skin

Hey fellas,
Got my hands on the new BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber! This is a skin that wraps around the back and sides of your device, adding good scratch protection but virtually no drop protection. It goes down easily and installation was a breeze, so you shouldn't have issues with it. It's a thin skin, so it adds no bulk to your device. The Carbon fiber texture is noticeable, but smooth for the most part, however it isn't grippy. If you're someone that's looking for a skin, or just want to stray away from cases and want something different, this is something to check out.

10 Silicone cases for $15 Win!

I just grabbed this lot. http://www.amazon.com/Friendly-Swed...=1-2&keywords=samsung+galaxy+s3+silicone+case I am currently using an XO Skin case fit screen protector and a carbon fiber back but I am terrified I will drop this phone. I already have a few dents on the bezel. Thought I would share this find.

Anyone using Carbon Fiber Vinyl wrap?

I am planning to DIY carbon vinyl wrap on my Asus 6Z. The phone is already big and with case it it feels too bulky.
Anyone used such wraps? How is grip improvement?
