Bricked XDA Mini S - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hello,
I am new to this site, I have searched all over for the last couple of days to find an answer to this question.
I bought a xda mini s which has had a bad flash done on it.
It had 2.21.0001 but apparently stopped working when 3.08 was put on it.
The is no power, not even a light.
I noticed the last posts regarding anything like this are quite old and wondered if there was any updates.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Anyone unbricked X-Play using Payserver Unlock service?

Has anyone successfully repaired a bricked radio by using Pay Servers like Omnius or FastGSM.com?
This is in reference to those plays that were bricked by the OTA update and used the first fix to get the play working but broke the radio...
Please pass your comments and any valuable information here..
Anyone? its been like almost 5 months and no replies... looks like ppl only come here when they are in trouble and once its solved, they disappear....

Binary solved the bricked radio issue month and months and months ago.
The first fix shouldn't have been applied anyways... Bin4ry published it only for a few people to test and everyone downloaded and flashed it.
Yes, any cable unlock service (Omnius, for example) can restore radio.

What happened yesterday?

Hey, guys. I was trying to update my ROM yesterday (at around 2-3 PDT) and the main XDA landing site was working, but the forums were down! Any admins (or anyone really) know what happened to the forums? I'm not whining or complaining; I got my ROM update via other means, but I'm just really curious.

A server had an unexpected issue, but it's sorted now.

Help, phone says its charging when its off charger

Title says it all. I thought it might be my ROM was running the newest paranoid android, noticed frequent screen ons for no reason and on further observation I noticed my phone flashes that its charging which is what's waking up my screen. I switched roms to aokp and yhe problem still persists. If this is an issue that has existed for awhile I'm sorry for posting. Just haven't seen anything like this and any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem since a few days, it also appeared when I was using the last version of PA. I tried returning to stock ROM but the problem persists. I found a lot of threads about this problem in this and other forums but dindn't find any solutions. Don't try to move the USB conector 'cause it doesn't work.
I'm afraid it is a hardware problem, but I still have hope... maybe it's just a firmware problem.. tomorrow I'll flash a stock ICS ROM, if it works I'll post it here and un this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1912136

I had the same problem for at while. Thought it was a software issue, because it started somewhere around an upgrade (but then again everything would at the rate we are upgrading). It was a hardware issue on my phone and the repair shop told that it was i common issue on this model. Samsung replaced a part on the waranty and it has worked perfect since.

If I replace it do I need to restore my phone to stock? Also does it cost anything to replace the part or do they charge the 150 from the warranty?

[Q] Is there a root for LGL21?

Hey I'm completely new here and kinda new to rooting. I think i'v only done it once. Anyways i ordered a phone and it will be arriving shortly. The website says its the LG E975 model, but it has a blue option. I'v done alot of reasearch and apparantly it is another japanese version by "au KDDI" model LGL21; the more common one by doccomo is the red variant. I found results in the forum for doccomo's version but i can't find much about KDDI's one. Is there a root for it at this time and if there is, is there any use for it? So sad this phone is not that common

Questions about touchscreen problems

Hi guys..I am planning to buy the new nexus 7. I was so excited when I saw all the positive reviews on youtube, but then I came across all these touchscreens problems videos. So my question is..is this issue only with tablets that were bought when it first came out? Or is it present in new ones too? Also do new update fix the issue? Koz I have a galaxy note 2..and when it first came out there were some kinda probs (sudden death syndrom). But later on they fix it on new models that came out (software wise and hardware too). So I thought google would do the same too. Anyone can enlighten me on this..I'll be very grateful. Koz am a little bit lost here. Thank you for reading..

I had a one of the first batch and it had very minor touchscreen problems.
I flashed one of the touchscreen driver files from the thread in the general section and it was fine after that.
I got a second N7 in November and it works flawlessly.
Oh..thats encouraging. Will be glad to hear some more reviews though.

i had watched all the touchscreen videos but it was worth the risk, i have bought a 2nd hand one, had it for 2months so far and only had the issue once, i downgraded from kitkat to AOSPA. it lasted 30mins, nothing since. im glad i have one, easy to carry around.
Mine's older, made in August. It has the "grounding" problem. The ts11 driver made it perfect.
The 4.4.3 update didn't fix the problem for me so I booted ts11 again and all is well.
I'm also curious if newer models still have touch problems. Even if they do there's a good chance one of the ts drivers can fix it but you shouldn't have to do that, come on google.
