[Q] Hotmail sync

Hello,
I post this thread because I have a problem with my htc desire. When I configure my hotmail adress on the device using HTC Mail, I can send an email from the hotmail account but the ONLY email that I receive is from 'Windows Live Hotmail Team' with a subject line of 'Expired news letter mail' and I have no access to my inbox.
I have verified all settings and know that everthing is correct as far as incoming/outgoing settings.
I've tried with the hotmail account of a friend and it's working ! He can access his inbox with my phone. In an other way, I can access to my hotmail box with his phone (HTC Magic). It's a real nonsense, and I count on you to help me and find a solution at this situation !
Thanks
(PS: I'm not usually post topics in english, sorry for my poor knowledge for this)

Email selection

Hello,
would you kindly tell me how I can do a "Select All" email on my DZ?
I have downloaded 200+ emails from my server, they all appear as unread emails. I can select one at a time to mark as read, however, it is too labour intensive to tick-select all of them one by one.
Is there an application I can install for this?
Thanks for your help.
For gmail I know the only real way to do it is to do the Check > Menu > Mark Read.
But its weird, have you checked your email on your PC? I was having an issue when I would sync my phone to my email client and it would say that there were unread messages, and then when searching on the PC I found them. Once they were found, I marked them as read, the phone would resync and then the emails were gone.

I am afraid re-syncing does not change the unread emails to read status on phone.
I hope this can be found out.
I have found a temporary measure in that it is not part of the messaging application from HTC or Android.

I hope others, who like me needed a solution will find this helpful.

Email App problem

Hi,
I have recently started using the Email app on my SM-T320. I have configured Yahoo mail. I have also have the same account configured on my HTC M7. This is my first Samsung device.
I am facing a problem with unread emails. If i read any emails on M7 or web, it is not being marked as read on the T320. but if i read it on T320, it shows up on as read on web and M7.
Has anyone faced such issue? if yes please guide me on how to fix it.
Cheers
TJ

Not receiving emails from xda-developers

Hi all,
Suddenly I have stopped receiving email notifications for subscribed threads. I think my email provider maybe the cause.
Rather then wait for someone to reply to a thread that I'm subscribed to is there a way to send an email from xda-developers? Like changing something is ones profile or sending self a private message etc?
TIA
Greg

This actually happened to me once as well. What worked for me as a quick solution was to create another gmail account for xda.
