[GUIDE] HTC Sense Clock On Any ROM - G2 and Desire Z Themes and Apps

HTC Sense Clock On Any ROM
**Note that in this tutorial I will be teaching you how to get the HTC Sense Clock on any ROM using a simple and noob friendly method. I am not responsible for any pirated software used during this method nor will I support it. Please use the market apps for this method. Applanet steals apps from the developers and is a illegal step to the method and xda-developers don't support this.
Are you trying to get this? then follow these steps!

}
Step 1: Go to your Market App and search for the app Fancy Widgets Pro and download it.
(Before you proceed this app costs US$1.99 and with out the Pro version this method will not work correctly!)
Step 2: After the download has finished launch the Fancy Widgets Pro app and follow the next few steps.
Step 3: Start by going to Appearance Settings --> Widget Style and selecting Flip Clock if not already selected.
Step 4: Now you want to go back once and go to Clock Skin. From here you will need to go to the All Tab and find "H7C Clock" which is the last clock on the list. Download and apply this Clock Skin.
Step 5: Once you have all of this applied you will need it to act more like the HTC Sense Clock, So now you will go back once and go to Weather Skin. From here you will need to go to the All Tab and find "H7C Weather" which is the second last from the bottom of the list. Download and apply this Weather Skin.
Additional Methods ---> If you want this clock to act more like the HTC Sense clock were it acts as a launcher, you can change this in the settings. You can have the clock launch things like Deluxe Moon, Weather Channel, Calenders. etc.

Bro u know any way by which we can make sure that the screen won't unlock by pressing the home button. Cos I installed agile lock and when I hit the home button it unlocks. Also my beautiful widget unlock animation stops working with agile clock.
I don't mean to change the topic, but with more attention to this project here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1217752 we might actually get a working sense rom ! spread the word haha

Go to Agile lock settings and check wheather animations after unlock if at all you missed checking it.If that doesnt work, follow below.
uninstall agile lock and reinstall.
As an alternative, clear the data and cache of Agile lock and restart your phone.
Then configure the agile lock.
It should work fine then.

Its a good start. Needs some improvements Im gonna keep an eye on it. Would like to see the ability to send messages from widget instead of launching talk. Also its crashing alot on me on axium 2.4. Sent a report
https://market.android.com/details?...UwMSwiZGUuRnI0Z2cwci5UYWxrV2lkZ2V0LmxpZ2h0Il0.
Wow, thought one would never come. Considering I use Gtalk almost religiously, it's fantastic that there's finally a widget of some sort for it. I've always wondered why something like Gtalk didn't have more support for it.
This app is a good start but like others have mentioned, sending messages from the widget itself would be awesome.
nice find. works fairly well, it just needs the interface cleaned up a bit
I would also like to see the ability to only show active chats. Its definitely a work in progress bi just really hope this gets the attention it deserves

Thanks for the tip, it worked and the widget did download and install now. But now I can not use the widget. I go between a Sense ROM(Android 4.0.3 and Sense 3.6) and a CMX ROM(Android4.1.1) and the Sense ROM is the one I had trouble installing the widget on. On the Sense ROM the widget showed up once in my list of widgets and put the widget on my home screen. But it just opens up to the settings for the widget, and it does the same when I open the widget in the app tray. So I removed it from my home screen and now it does not show in my list of widgets but it is in my app tray still. I will be testing it on my CMX ROM later today and will post back with feed back on it as well.
Edit: I just now realized this thread is in the Galaxy Nexus Themes and Apps forum. I have a HTC Sensation but I found this thread by google search for a G Talk Widget.
Has this been removed from the market?
Is an apk still available?
TIA

[WIDGET]Sense 4 Clock v1 | All Launchers!!

Hey guys.
Here is the sense 4 clock ported for our One X, It has been resized and fully edited by me to look 99% like the real thing.
The only thing missing is the animation and the sense forecast style, you still get a forecast though if you click the weather icon.
You can use this in any launcher you like, Apex,Nova, GO etc etc..

Feel free to include it in your ROM's just give me a mention.
Just try it to galaxy SIII'TWlauncher and works!its almost like the original but the city name its not fit very good to the skin.Dont now if it is because the 4.8inc.

[THEME/UI][TUTORIAL][VIDEO ADDED!] DropUI | A minimal UI (updated: 15th Sept)

*Click image for high res. version.
It has been a while since I made a real homescreen, I had been using Windows Phone for a while before I got my Galaxy S3. You guys have no idea how suffocating those tiles were (But I still love the MetroUI).
So, I call this setup DropUI cause of the raindrops in it. I have this strange fascination about them, they calm me down. You might notice the edges have black spots, they're there so that the screen looks rounded too. Inside the screen is another layer (or I call it a base). The base has the nav, the dock and the folders. I had to include the dock inside the wallpaper and then use blank icons on my launcher cause 7x10 grid was a pain to work with.
I had seen many setups before I created this, the best and the most unique ones used SweeterHome which is a beta launcher and is clunky. I believe in functionality over looks so I chose one of the best launchers out there, Apex Launcher. (You can use GoLauncher too but Apex has some nice gesture controls.) I made most of it, I had to mash up two icon sets and add in some effects to them. (resources are listed below). Unlike most of the complex setups which make it really hard to change wallpapers, each of my homescreen changes its wallpaper automatically. I had to make couple of wallpaper variations but same wallpapers get boring after a while. The folders are made up of Simi Folder widget and the text is made up of Minimalistic Text.

Facebook has updated Messenger and main Facebook app this morning to prepare the arrival of Home (that is available only on selected devices, which are One X, One X+, First, Note 2 and SIII (eventually One and SIV). It looks like links are not up yet, but the app is live as you can see from this screenshot
-Personal Review:
I've been looking forward to it for nearly a whole month, following leaked previews on Modaco, getting excited for that.
Now that I finally got it, I'm kind of "yah, cool. Now let's go back to Nova"
That's not because I don't like it, the idea is nice. Probably it's just me.
I like the thing that with a simple swipe you can access your SMS/Facebook Messages, or main facebook app and the app drawer, but I'm missing many parts of my One X...
Widgets... that's android's pride. I need my widgets, like weather and news feed, and now I have to swipe up, open app drawer, scroll down to weather app to see if tomorrow is raining or not.
Long refreshing time... When I go back to facebook home after a while it needs 10-15 seconds to refresh news feed, and it's very annoying because it lags a lot in that moment, and can't do anything...
Btw, I love the new updates. Messenger app is nearly perfect now, I don't need to leave an app or a game to answer a text, and I love it :good:
Please let me know your opinions, I would like to see if you agree and will use Home as default Launcher or not, and why

EDIT: you need to update your build.prop to get it to work.
ro.product.model=SCH-I535
ro.product.name=d2vzw
ro.product.device=d2vzw
That's what I used, it makes your device look like the VZW GS3.
thanks, I'll try it and update the post
Me 3.... Bet it's custom ROM related.
Even if u install the app, it says its not available in your country. Anyone any luck?

+1, works right away.
- dont think its gonna be a nice option to battery/data life.
- not much features as "normal" launchers, no widgets.
Anyone for who worked would you mind sharing ro.product.name ro.product.device ro.product.model?

Destroyed my battery today!
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I've been looking forward to it for nearly a whole month, following leaked previews on Modaco, getting excited for that.
Now that I finally got it, I'm kind of "yah, cool. Now let's go back to Nova"
That's not because I don't like it, the idea is nice. Probably it's just me.
I like the thing that with a simple swipe you can access your SMS/Facebook Messages, or main facebook app and the app drawer, but I'm missing many parts of my One X...
Status bar... why is it hidden, facebook? I can't find any option to show it (maybe you guys can), and I hate the fact that you need to double swipe down to see your notifications.
Widgets... that's android's pride. I need my widgets, like weather and news feed, and now I have to swipe up, open app drawer, scroll down to weather app to see if tomorrow is raining or not
Btw, I love the new updates. Messenger app is nearly perfect now, I don't need to leave an app or a game to answer a text, and I love it :good:
Please let me know your opinions, I would like to see if you agree and will use Home as default Launcher or not, and why
