Flip case v.s back case

i'm yet to buy a case for my note and sadly where i live there is no accessories for my note so i'll get it online
am thinking about this one

well i like flip cases in general , they look more classy and offer more protection , but how will it look like on a huge phone like a note , will it hinder its one handed operation , and i think it would make it impossible to answer a phone call without having the front cover covering my face .
which do you think is more convenient flip or back casing ?
be careful of the fake ones if you want to buy the Samsung flip cover.
i know they only have black and white only.

Flip Down vs Flip Sideways (Diary) Case - Which Is Most Practical?

I'm trying to decide between a flip down case (such as the Noreve Tradition) or a flip sideways case (such as the Zenus Masstige or Elago G4). I've never owned a case for a phone so not sure which is more practical for the Note. Any suggestions/advice as to which is more practical for everyday use?
Does anyone have any feedback please?
Flip to the side is better.
Because: When you get a flip down, you can't charge and keep the flap on the screen. Gotta open it to charge. If the flip goes up and over, you can't listen to music or use to talk with headset.
Would advice flip to the left because the off button is easyer to access with the right side being open.
sideways looks also better, like a real note book
Side flip is best. flip up/down is awkward when speaking on phone. Like the member above mentioned, side flip allows you to charge whilst keeping the case closed and screen private. With flip down, charging can be awkward and phone case must be open. With flip up, you have the headphone jack obscured....no access. Try the Samsung Leather Lizard flip case. I have a few photos of it in the 'post your case' thread.
This is very user dependent... try at least 1 type of each and get a feel for which one you like to use best. For some people obviously side flip would be good while for some, over or under flip works more.
flip down....
no hassles, flip down to use the phone... flip up to close....
booklet types are on my opinion, cumbersome to use... kind like awkward to use especially when you got a call to take...
have a flip down and a flip-side one.... between the two... I use more my flip down leathercase over the booklet one...
but hey, that's just me... I just feel it more easy to open my Note using it...
I have the flip side cover and love it
sideways flip, book style. better still if it has slots for cards, cash, etc
great example is the EaseCase ones. yummy yum yum
side ways. it sometimes hassle for top/bottom flip cover touching your chest/abs unless you can flip it exactly behind the phone.
neither? do you not find such cases kinda double the size and the flippy part gets in the way of holding it properly? id also be concerned about bending the flippy part backwards when holding it (like bending the spine of a book) but maybe im being OCD about it idk

Any good flip & stand cases?

I'm wondering if there are any good flip cases that will cover the screen when it's in my pocket and act as a stand when it's out so I can prop the phone up at least in landscape mode (portrait is a plus). I had a case that did just that for the Galaxy Note but I've since traded it in for the Galaxy S III and I'm looking for a case with similar functionality. Other bonuses would be a little bit of padding, but I'm mainly looking for something that will cover the screen and act as a stand.
I found these on ebay but I couldn't find anything else on Amazon (US) or any other website.

If anyone has found a good one like that, let me know. Thanks!

Cases that wake phone upon open/lock upon close (as this case suggests?)

Basically I've been looking at cases for my soon to arrive Nexus and came across this one that says it wakes the phone upon opening and locks on close. Is this a feature of the phone that I've just not heard about? Is it likely that most 'wallet' style cases do this?

Saw this Nillkin case on eBay:

tablets like the n7 have that so maybe.... old blackberries also have it... i think it's a magnetic strip but some cheap cases arent calibrated well so the phone may sleep if the cover folds over the back... i'd wait for cofirmation the n5 has the feature and read reviews...

There are many users who confirmed that n5 indeed has the feature.
I'm interested in this nillkin case, waiting for review so I can purchase it.
Does anyone know of any other wallet (leather style or similar) that offers this feature that is available in the UK? They keep bumping the price of the one I linked up and it keeps going in and out of stock...

Strap like Smartwatch 3 for normal watches

Hello, I tried a Sony Smartwatch 3 and I was impressed by the quality of the strap. It is the black plastic strap. I really like how it feels in my skin.
Anyway, I didn't like android wear, so I went back to my Pebble. But I wonder, do you guys know any universal strap for normal watches like the sony smartwatch? I'm talking about material and quality. I know the strap is only for somy smartwatches, but I want to know if any other manufacturer makes similar straps.
Thanks.
iWatchz*Q Collection. I use it with my Pebble.

Thank you. It looks quite good.
Do you know if it will fit Pebble steel, or even the new Pebble Time?
I don't know. I use it with Classic Pebble.
You can buy Smartwatch 3 Wrist Strap SWR510 from the official UK Sony Xperia Store now. It will cost around $30-$40.
Why you do not like smart watch? I think smart watch has a lot of advantages.
