You can block users from being seen in threads, but they can still PM you. I don't think that you can block users from PMs. If someone is harassing you or something, let an admin know. svetius would be a good one to notify of that. Admins are the only ones who can peer into your inbox when needed.

If someone is sending you any offensive or bad PMs, report them using the "Report Private Message" button and it will be looked into.

You had to be a backer a few months ago. They're sending out invited to those people. My understanding is that they will hold a public beta somewhat soon.

Maybe they want actual testers and developers to give the new inbox a test run. That way they can get actual feedback of real issues instead of stupid questions like "How do I open the inbox?" <<<Invited someone for that amazing feedback?
