Android Auto scaling problem - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

When I connect my cell phone to the car, Android Auto is seen in a smaller dimension (it seems a problem of scale or resolution). Does anyone else have this problem? Any fix?

unable to adjust brightness after replacing display

Hello,after replacing the display (by myself) , I' m not able to adjust the brightness of my display. It's stuck on the lowest level. Things I've tried;
- Called with HTC
- Performed hard reset
- Set the brightness to "auto"
- To adjust it with a brightness widget on my homescreen
- Replaced it with another display
- And of course digging through XDA
Specs;
- Desire Z 2.3.3,sense 2.1,unrooted
When I try to adjust it to the max.level it does not give an error. It just stays on the lowest level.
Is there anyone with the same problem or better, has a solution?
Many thanks in advance!
Can't adjust brightness either...kinda sucks
I am also having this issue and would appreciate any insight.
Did you guys do the work yourselves?
Yes,together with a video on "repair universe" I changed the display by myself (twice). Still having the same problem.
Anyone
Brightness stuck on highest setting
I also have this same problem. I just replaced the lcd display myself yesterday on my G2 with the help of the repair universe video. My display brightness is stuck on the highest level. When I try to adjust the brightness, only the buttons on the bottom of my screen (home, menu, back, search) change brightness but not the display.
I'm currently running ILWT CM7 297.
I'm going to try re-flashing my radio and then wiping and flashing a new ROM.
If anyone knows how to fix this please help!
I suspect it is hardware related such as the ribbon cable or screen is missing a lead for the dimming function. Can't tell from here though sorry.

I tend to second this opinion from killj0y.
Have you tried making sure the ribbon cables are tight and secure? Sounds like the ribbon cable from the screen may be loose.

Also is it the original ribbon?
Any updates
Has anyone figured out the answer to this? I just replaced the LCD from RepairsUniverse.com as well and the same thing. The brightness is low and won't change at all. Everything was fine before and RepairsUniverse.com says it's the motherboard. If the motherboard was fine before and all of us are having pretty much the same problem and some (or all?) of us got the replacement from RepairsUniverse.com, does anyone else smell a rat?
I know nothing of this company but depending on you screen problem, I wouldn't assume your mb is perfectly fine.
Sent from my HTC Desire Z using Tapatalk
Mine too
Has anyone fixed this problem? I have the exact symptoms, this is the second one I've tried, could it be because the lcd isnt oem? Please help
Hi. Are there any updates to this proble. I recently had the screen replaced on my Desire S and now it is stuck on the lowest brightness settings. Change any of the brightness controls does nothing. I took it back to the shop and they tried another screen, but still have the same problem. The motherboard was also replaced and the problem was there, but reversed...!? The screen was then stuck on full brightness...
Back to the original motherboard and the brightness is back stuck on lowest brightness setting....

issues with flash player 11 and mplayer(Solved)

I'm using flashplayer(stock-browser) and mplayer to listen to radio streams but after 5 minutes of joy the stream drops.
How can i fix this?
Is the tablet going in suspended mode or is the screen staying on? If the screen goes off, the device will stop apps from consuming battery by continuing to run.
Also note that it doesn't go into full suspend as soon as the screen turns off; it might be a couple of minutes later.
No the screen stays on.I will try an app that doesn't put the tablet in suspend mode.
Non succesfull sometimes 3 min. or 5 then i got kicked again.
Today jwplayer on a random website was on my list to test.
Max 3 minutes then the vid stream stopped again.
Anyone else having problems with streaming audio and vids on this tablet?
Could it be a Honeycomb/Android bug ?
I have had some odd issues with the Wifi deciding to drop and reconnect. It caused stuff like you are seeing.
Im guessing the fix is going to be a patch. The work around I used that has so far eliminated the issue was just just change from DHCP to Static for that Wifi connection after connecting.
No idea if this will relate to what you are experiencing without more information. Its an easy thing to try however.

What version OS are you running? I recently updated mine to 2.007.04_com_gen1. That took care of alot of the software issues I was having. Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18493425 and check out the update packages.
EDIT: Sorry, nor OS version but ROM version.
ummmmm............ could you repeat that?

What does GB stand for in 2.007.04_EMEA_GB? Is it a gingerbread rom? Or just made to look like gingerbread?

Display problem

Hi,
Factory reset - done!
Flash Android 2.3 - done!
I had the original Android 2.2 before, so the software is not the reason for my HTC Wildfire display problem.
Display image is moving up/down, the line of notification with signal, battery level..., is going in the middle, bottom of display and so on.... I have a screenshoot and a picture made with a very bad mobile camera, but hope to be enough!
I think few water drops inside 3.5 mm audio jack could be the reason, the warning LED(red one) is not working too.
Had someone the same issue? A way to fix this?

Someone else also had a similar issue. Here is the link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394674
but not sure if both cases are the same...
Cheers
...menu bar is floating from bottom to top, pushing all icons/options and it is nearly impossible to hit the right icon/option. Also when there is a keyboard, it moves up and down but it always reacts when pressed on position where it should normaly stand.
Thanks! So... I'm not the only one with this issue.
I think the reason for this screen it's because i dropped the phone before (3-4 days), but not noticed this right in that moment...
Anyway, I easy dropped the phone with intention several times recetly and the screen was OK for a day... don't know what can it be...
I'll try to find out how can be this problem fixed in a service and how much have to pay for all this...
After all, it seems my display don't want to turn on anymore.
I turned on my phone and it's working, it's able to receive calls with no problem, digitizer is working too because I can answer by tapping the known part of display where is that button!
I want to buy a new display and replace it. Could be anything else that make my display not turning on?

Flickering display from Dasaita Max10 PX6 4gb/64gb - Android 10

Hi all, I installed this new Max10 unit from Daisata and when brightness is set to full the display starts to flicker on and off. Turning down brightness to like 90% solved the issue. Anyone else experiencing this with their unit?
Did you find any other related posts. What options have been considered and as always, what does seller suggest.

No I did not find any posts with the same issue and have requested reseller to share me their results yet no reply back yet. I was just wondering if this was new issue since these android 10 models of the Dasaita PX6 unit were released in June.
Short update, vendor had send me an updated MTCE (3.60) which I installed but did not yet resolve the flickering and made it worse as my display of the MAX10 (1280 x 720) is now cropped to 1024 * 720
They are now checking what could have caused this....anyone has any idea?

I had this issue with my Dasaita PX5 unit (2016 Corolla) on stock ROM intermittently awhile back. Not present with Hal9k's custom ROM.
Same resolution: dropping down the brightness ever so slightly would eradicate the flickering.
Px3 kld, some flicker when i have less of 60% brightness

Thank you
+1 This and also anyone else?
Wanted to chime in since this was not a thread before I had this issue but just got my unit replaced by Dasaita with this exact issue and "fix" making screen resolution cropped. Eventually, they had me send it in and sent me a new one. So far no screen flickering but I just got it today.
On a side note, anyone have it for the RAV4 or any other toyota and incorporates a canbus decoder? I am having an issue that my HU is causing the check engine light to come on and traction control to turn off. They told me its due to not disconnecting the battery when I first installed it, this happened with the last unit, but I did that this time and still same result. Anyone else experiencing this? Their support is not the most helpful and I am about to return if fully but I love the look of the 10" screen in the car
Hi everyone, I have had the same problem but even worst since my unit's screen is not only flickering but also out-of-fit (the status bar is now at appear at the bottom). Anyone have these problem? Mine came with Android 10 from the box with MTCE (3.71_1) and 20210111 version which I think are the newest, so I do not think I need to update the MCU Please see attached pictures for details.
Dasaita PX6 MAX10 flickering and not fit (video)
Hi, I have also some video issues after 1-2 hour run. Overheating? Maybe some suggestions? I am already wrote to dasaita, but nice to have community opinions.

Ambient Display Screen Flashes

Hi Guys!~
Hope all is well !!
... recently I came across my rooted android 11 Pixel 3XL got a screen flashes with bright home screen background during the screen turning off and entering ambient display mode.
I try my best to find a solution but haven't found one yet.
I have tried to reflash to stock, also doesn't fix the problems.
... the only solution I found at this moment is to get android 12 beta which the transition animation from turning off the screen to the wake up of ambient display is totally different and I still prefer to stay with rooted android 11.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Sounds like a hardware failure, display or mobo.

If you tried multiple roms especially the stock* one unless it's something you loaded after the flash, it's got to be hardware related. It's possible the non stock rom blew out some hardware too.
Try setting brightness to manual.
A rework around may be the only viable solution.
You ever wonder what happens when one or two of the billions of semiconductor junctions/resistors/caps fails in the chipset or display? You might be looking at an example
It could be a loose connection, or a faulty ribbon cable/connector, a subassembly maybe even battery (if so there be more symptoms).
*unless a known issue in this device.

I could be wrong... and even if it is hardware that doesn't mean a work around doesn't exist to make it usable.
Play with it, Androids wuv attention
