->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.

->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. Flash the clean_modem_status.zip (link in the OP) and see if returns to works. May be a modem bug.
That didn't work for me so I decided to re-flash the ROM. all is well now thanks

Hi guys. Can anybody test if Alto's Adventure is working on this ROM? For me it hangs shortly after launching with screen blinking or just closes without any error message.

In OP... Writed "Quark" in blue. Didn't work? The number in the final of AFH link has to be 224087
OK. I an on XDA labs, and Quark in the op is orangish brownish, not blue? That link takes me to the unofficial 9-18-2017 upload, which I already have. I do not see another link to a more current upload. So, is that the one you are speaking of?
Also, are you still keeping viper os updated?

Oh ok I got it. Yeah it just that build Unofficial that I was talking about. Sorry if I've get the idea of more than that only one.
Talking about ViperOS, Yes. Just waiting for they update the source on github (stills in 2.1 version with june(?) security patch). According to the leader of the project, the source will be updated soon to 3.1 Coral version (Final Nougat release with october Security Patch), but I don't even know when. Official support of VOS I've talked with him and probably only in Oreo for us.

Check if you make a clean install (wiping Cache, Data, Dalvik/ART Cache and System). If you did a "dirty flash" I won't give you a solution. If you made a clean install, report it, and don't forget the logcat. Official supported ROMs can be only a bug of the ROM or of the device. If it's of ROM, report in the official ways of the ROM, like Telegram Group or G+ Community.

Technically it should work, but there is a little bit risk, backup your data first then do drity flash .

Hi, I'd like to confirm crackling audio issue. I get it while notifications come on the phone immediately after unlock / wake from sleep.
Also, facing frequent disconnections of Bluetooth on Android Auto while inside the car and connected to the headunit. No other device of mine has this particular issue. There is also a fair bit of stutter while playing FLAC audio both via Pulsar and Poweramp. Need logs?

Don't wipe internal memory and SD card and use titanium backup pro to backup app+app data...so that you can restore them after clean flash
Does this rom supports sd 615 msm8939?
And does the camera video recording work with 3rd party apps like snapchat, instagram?
I am not able to find roms for 615, and the ones from 4pda have this bug...

I did tried flashing and :
1.gave me assertion error,
2.removed the assert lines from updater script and flashed, rom did flashed but then bootlogo appears and then screen turns off...
(Device is Z010DD and not Z010D)

1. maybe you are using old version of recovery, update that.
2. there is some fix file to boot sd615 (Z010DD) (join our device group on telegram to get that)

please try to port RR or AEX rom if you have time....

For now, rr is more stable than aex
For rom aex I will update 10h again, with version 4.1 and more stable

rr and aex,
they are equally good
I think you should be updating and make one rom which has better functionality and customization bugfree first....and concentrate on that.....or try to directly work on oreo porting project so you have less work load and we get faster updates...and please try to merge the latest securtiy patch in new update

Clean install is always reccomended
Since now I will ship AEX with 4.4 kernel
If you encounter a blue screen after flash new build, it means your bootloader is outdated, flash newer zui with qfil
How to flash treble roms having /factory instead of /vendor?
* First time custom rom flasher/ coming from ZUI / Never flashed treble rom / Never flashed factory2vendor patch
1. Flash Treble TWRP ( which supports /factory )

2. Flash ROM + GApps etc
* Coming from roms for which you had done factory2vendor conversion
1. Flash Vendor2factory zip

It will work for both non treble like zui , and treble roms having /factory instead of vendor support

5. No need to wipe if coming from same rom

I've tried AEX 23rd Aug build and it just blew me away. Right from the smoothness of the ui to the app opening speed, everything makes AEX that much special. Obviously the rom at this stage lacks customization but I've got no complaints. P was just released few weeks ago and here we are with an almost stable build. Thanks davide for making z2_plus this awesome.

Can someone please help me regarding the GApps? I couldn't find a link in the OP. So I checked out other Android 9 ROMs for our device and got "MindTheGapps-9.0.0-Unofficial-arm64-20180818.zip" from the Nitrogen OS thread. Will this work?
PS: can someone confirm if Magisk is working with this?
