Anyone using Carbon Fiber Vinyl wrap? - ASUS ZenFone 6 (2019) Accessories

I am planning to DIY carbon vinyl wrap on my Asus 6Z. The phone is already big and with case it it feels too bulky.
Anyone used such wraps? How is grip improvement?

Carbon Fiber case

Hey guys,
Did anyone order the carbon fiber case? I want to know if it's that rubberized material, like the battery cover, G1, etc...
The one from Verizon?
If so, I have it, and its a hard case, not rubberized
i think he meant the finish. is it slick on the back or rubberized?
Now that I feel it again, it is a rubber back, but a very thin rubber. I can press my fingernail into it and it makes an impression. It feels more like plastic then rubber though. The carbon fiber design is imprinted in the rubber.
Just to add my two cents, the quality of the case is pretty good. As mentioned before, it's more of a plastic feel. Hard rubber or softer plastic.
The case snaps together very securely and has plenty of room for the hdmi/usb/headphone jack.
I've got bigger fingers so the physical buttons on the side are a little difficult to press, but you can get used to it. Also, when touching the extreme sides of the screen, the case gets in the way a little.
All things said, I'd recommend the case.

Yes, the case is cut very well and is secure when snapped into place
The x will not fit in the car dock with this case. The hard plastic case is an extremely tight squeeze but will work. I like how the carbon imitation case looks and feels. My two cents....

I got one a couple of days ago. To me it seems more like some sort of vinyl than rubber or hard plastic. It's got an ok grip, but isn't so grippy that it'll catch my pocket when I take it out, like actual rubber cases I used previously on iphones.
One thing I thought was funny, though... it's obviously not made of carbon fiber and that the pattern has just been stamped or molded. But, the box says "carbon fiber" and not "carbon fiber style" It actually said it in two places, I think. It'd be like something being labeled "leather" when it's actually leatherette or PVC. Not complaining, just think it's amusing.
It is carbon fiber, its just not embedded in the normal gel people are used to seeing on cars. Its a layer that is over a plastic case. Do you know how much it would cost to produce a true cf case or even a dry carbon fiber case? I know someone who works with composites and its a very tedious job, not to mention not very forgiving.

There is a full carbon fiber case out there, but its not cheap. It'll set you back $119 just for the case.
Carbon Fiber also does not protect the phone from drops and scratches easily. I imagine that it's really good at not not breaking though, so if you get a bit of roid rage and want to take it out on your phone case, this is the one to get!
What is it called?????

Amzer Luxe Argyle Skin Case vs Phantom Skinz Carbon Fiber

Hi all,
I just wanted thoughts on these two cases:
Amzer Luxe Argyle
Phantom Skinz
Just wanted to know:
1. Which fits better?
2. Which feels better?
3. Which company has better service/shipping?
I've heard that the amzer fits very well. I like the look of the phantom skinz, but I heard it doesn't cover the phone completely. Is that true?
The Amzer is a case and the Phantom Skinz is a stick on skin.
I have the Phantom Skinz Carbon fiber in white and it does not protect all of the phone. It covers the major areas but not the curved round edges. It also comes with 2 screen protectors.
I also have the phantom skinz white carbon fiber, and just ordered the blue amzer luxe argyle skin case to go over it. I think it'll look pretty cool given that part of the blue skin case is clear(ish). Just so you know about the phantom skinz, think of it as an invisible shield type deal. The way I look at it is this, phantom skinz will protect you from minor scrapes and dings (except on the edges and corners) like if you set it down on concrete and it slid a little. But, Looks great and retains stock feel, the skin case will protect the phone if you actually dropped it on the concrete. Big difference! Its up to you and your needs/ clumsiness.
And a side note, phantom skinz screen protectors are the shiznit! If your gonna get one, its the way to go for sure. It retains more of a glass feel than any other I've tried yet. Great fit too.

Video Review: BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber Skin

Hey fellas,
Got my hands on the new BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber! This is a skin that wraps around the back and sides of your device, adding good scratch protection but virtually no drop protection. It goes down easily and installation was a breeze, so you shouldn't have issues with it. It's a thin skin, so it adds no bulk to your device. The Carbon fiber texture is noticeable, but smooth for the most part, however it isn't grippy. If you're someone that's looking for a skin, or just want to stray away from cases and want something different, this is something to check out.

Carbon fiber wrap for Tab S3 ?

Wondering if anyone has put carbon fiber wraps on the backside of the Tab S3? I wanted to wrap it because I feel it is very prone to breakage and I think the wrap actually makes it strong and very cool looking. What are your thoughts?
This is
Carbon Fiber Tab S3 Skin
Sorry to super-necro this thread, but I managed to find an awesome carbon fiber skin for this tablet on Amazon. It was only like 8 or 10 dollars and has a super premium feel and it hasn't peeled back or anything.
