Question 5G bands with AT&T prepaid - OnePlus 9 Pro

AT&T told me that I have to upgrade my prepaid plan in order to get 5G speeds (I know, they're not really 5G), and I don't want to keep $1100 phone and pay more for service if I am unable to get them because phone does not have correct bands. Three websites list different bands for US model and I could swear OnePlus website did not list bands n260 and n261 a week ago. Then who is finally right?

Or finally OnePlus?

If you buy the North American variant, the bands are there.
But the problem with AT&T is that OnePlus has not certified
the 9 series for their 5G network so you wanna double check that
but regardless you have to buy the correct model for North America(U.S & Canada).

T-Mobile & wi-fi calling on dev edition

Dev edition vs T-Mobile version, are these hardware differences, or software? Could I flash a T-Mobile radio onto a developer edition to unlock the bands to get HSPA+ on PCS(1700 and 2100)?
Also T-Mobile plans on rolling out 700MHz LTE later this year, would this be compatible?
The developer edition is an "AT&T variant" which restricts some bands, meaning I drop down to EDGE in some areas where T-Mobile hasn't refarmed(modernized) their spectrum.
from anandtech:
>As far as I can tell only the AT&T and Google Play Edition SKUs support carrier aggregation. The two SKUs are quite similar from a cellular standpoint, with the AT&T model locking out UMTS band 4 to discourage movement to T-Mobile.
also, could I get wi-fi calling if I found and flashed a T-Mobile stock rom?

Will the Chinese version work in USA networks

Good morning guys. I am no professional when it comes to phone bands, network, etc. So I would like to ask for some help. I recently purchased a Chinese version of the one plus 3 and will use it in the USA under T-Mobile. Seller said in his item description that it will work in t-mobile, AT&T just fine however I did my research and found mix answers some say it does some say they don't.

Yea but I also asked seller and and he said this "In the America,4G LTE(FDD) Network Only Support T-Mobile and AT&T,Not Support Verizon and Sprint" btw I received the phone today but am afraid to open it and find out it doesn't work. Hard to talk to these eBay sellers sometimes. I just want the assurance
T-Mobile
AT&T
Aw so it means it not. That sucks seller telling me it does work. I'll have to return it and look for a USA version of the phone

LTE B20 band on PIC-LX9 not working

Hi,
on Ebay I bought a brand new Huawei Nova 2 PIC-LX9. This is a variant that should be able to operate on LTE band B20 800MHz.
Unfortunately, in places where only LTE B20 band is available, the phone is connected to EDGE . I searched a bit and found out that the model designation differs in several places:
in the android settings - PIC-LX9
in the engineering mode (after entering the code *#*#2846579#*#*) - PIC_AL00_VE
on the box and battery cover of the phone - PIC-LX9
in the Chinese manual - PIC-AL00.
I have few questions:
-what´s problem with LTE ? Bug after update? Or is this a rebranded phone?
-Is the hardware of all Nova 2 variants the same?
-Is it possible to unlock/enable the B20 band?

Galaxy s9 bad reception

So I have galaxy s9(SM-G960U) with (G960USQS7DTD1) software version and its snap Dragon American version , I got it from amazon
I live in egypt so the problem is that , the phone reception is totally sucks , I cant even use 3G inside the house , my previous galaxy s7 has a decent 4G coverage inside the house

So I think my problem is that I have limited frequency bands support which is being used by sprint network
so is there any software solution for this ?? like flashing any other global samsung software rather than sprint one ??
is frequency bands support is limited by software or hardware or both of them ??
I bought 2 phones unfortunately and I cant even sell it or return it back , So could you please help

Question Does the International model support verizon?

Hello, I need a dual sim phone and want to stick with oneplus. I am interested in the OnePlus 9 pro international version (
LE2123) as its supposed to have dual sim. I cannot figure out if this phone supports Verizon though? if so, does it also support verizon 5g mm?
Which one of these bands does verizon operate on? The screen shot below has been taken from here https://www.oneplus.com/uk/9-pro/specs

I would not risk it, it might, but at the same time it might not, (OnePlus 7, and 7T Pro Mclaren both do not officially work on Verizon) if you really want to risk it, I would try as it does have LTE Band 13 (and Verizon officially supports the U.S. LE2125 9 Pro), and if it doesn't work you could always contact Verizon support and tell them you have a 9 Pro, people have had success with the 7T Pro Mclaren Edition International with having working Calls, Data, and Messages, but only after contacting Verizon and them do their magic.
