Memory card size in box..

Can someone confirm what size the memory card is in the box?
Sorry in advance for posting a frequently answered question. Just ordered a T mobile one today..
This depends on the provider.
Some people on forum said that they had 4GB in the box, but at least one person said that it was 2 GB, and HTC themselves say that it suppose to be 8GB, so lets take the average and say that it should come with 4GB.
The MicroSD card is a Sandisk Class 2 4GB card when ordered direct from T-Mobile. Or at least that's what I got.
I got mine from CPW and it was a 4GB Microsd card... but it was already inside the phone which did confuse me for a while when i was looking at the box contents.
The distributor can bundle which ever size card they want to, usually which ever they feel will make them the profit they want.
A got a 4GB Class 2 with my T-mobile version of the Desire.
If upgrading I would recommend you go for a Class 6 MicroSD card at least. I used one of these and it made a tremendous difference with my HTC Hero. That phone was routed of course and I had apps. stored to the microSD card. If you look around you can get a 8GB Class 6 for about £12.

UK DZ Owners!

What size of SD card came with your phone? And class if you could?
Cheers,
Dan. And. Dna. Nad. Adn. Nda.
Mine was a relatively early one from Amazon.co.uk. It came with an 8GB class 2 card.
Same in mine.
8GB Samsung class 2
Same. From e2save, part of CarphoneWarehouse
..sent from my CyanogenMod'd HTC Vision
mine was the same 8GB from vodafone

What are you guys going do with ur Micro sd cards?

As you guys know the HTC One X doesn't have micro sd storage slot. So if you upgrade from like say HTC Sensation then you got your bigger sd card left or you need sell it together with your old phone.
Company i've sold my Desire to only require the phone, so my memory card is now in a USB reader and being used to transfer files about.
I could use it for that to. I could put it in an microsd sd adapter and use as spare sd card.
But there is no way I need 3 sd cards. I already got an 640GB external hard drive. I just now just ask the buyer if he was interested in it,
I will sell it together with my phone..
I'll upload whatever is on it first to dropbox and Google music and then wipe it clean ready for whoever I give my sg2 to
I'll probably put it in my prime.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
I will put a 4 Gig card in my sensation and sell it and put a lot of mp3s on my 16 Gig card and put it in my car stereo
the only card i had was the free 16gb Sandisk (class 2 probably) from the Droid 1, and since they are selling 64 GBs now and i have no use for one anyway, it went to NY today with my GS2.
fortunately i have a tablet that i can use it on.
Shred them? I've got so many of them laying arround variating from 2-32gb...
I'll keep the old device with me ... But if I need to upgrade, I will keep my 16gb for my needs, and sold my 2gb with the phone. It don't worth to sell because the price will drop.

Memory question

I just got the one X through att. The Web says 16 gb of memory but mine only shows 9? Am I missing something?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
No, that sounds about right. Out of the advertised 16GB of space, several GBs are reserved for the OS and Apps. So the user is only left with around 10GB for storing their own personal files. BTW you are on the wrong forum. This is for the international One X (i.e : Tegra 3 quad core CPU, 32GB storage variant), head over to AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL forum for the Snapdragon dual core / 16GB One X.
