Help please for O2 xda2s today's theme and WMP Skin - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Can somebody please post the O2 xda2s today's theme and WMP skin here?
Or please email it to me.
Thanks.

Skin Theme
Skin and Theme.

Supprised to me. I thought the o2 theme should have the Second Edition function. Just like other extended theme cause when you rotate it by using SRS, the extended theme should be able to cover the whole screen. But this one is not.
Also, for the WMP, it's not useful for the O2 xda II cause it can't change when I rotate the sceen.
Thanks very much anyway.

Huh
Could've sworn I've read your post twice to double check that you wanted Xda II and not Xda IIs.
Anyway I do not have the WMP10 WM2003SE version but I do have the O2 theme.

Thanks again.
I want to use the xda2s theme on my xda2.

Skin for Phone application

Hi
On the MDA pro, the phone application had a skin that complimented the overall t-mobile theme.
After installing the imate rom, I find that the phone application sticks to its default skin (windows default) it does not take on a skin similar to the currently selected theme.
Anyone know how the phone application gets its skin? I can find no posts covering this
Nigel
Maybe that will help
I know this is not an answer to your question but attached might help
I think Buzz has done some work on this, check out his site, http://buzzdev.net

WM5 Dialer Skins (and App to Manage them)

I've been insired by the Dialer Skins found on BuzzDev.net (just wish they'd hurry up and send me the e-mail to complete the join process so I can get the other skins)...
I'm working on a way to change the skins without having to mess with 100 registry keys each time.
If there is interest, I'll post the app and some sample skins here.
Biggest problem right now is that to apply the skin you must soft reset your phone. If anyone knows a way around this, let me know. Also anyone who has addition dialer settings that can be manipulated via registry send them to me for addition into the App.
Bob
Bob, I'm down with beta testing if you need someone.
Sounds great. I have a PPC6700 with WM5 and right now it's a huge pain to switch dialer skins. A soft reset is a MINOR inconvenience.

Can some please tell me how I install this Skin I downloaded from BUZZ.net to my Blue Angel.
Thankyou

You need to change the file code from .JPG into .TSK first though. I had to do this to be able to upload as the website dont like .tsk files.
Thankyou

Calculator???

Hi,
I have the T-mobile MDA Compact III, the Dutch version, with wifi and stuff. I also have a Qtek S200 and the first thing i noticed is that the Compact III has no calculator! This may seem like a small thing, but it bugs me as i got used to using it alot with the S200...
Any plugin or whatever to get a calculator??
Oh and while i'm asking, is there a way to change those freaky pink white colors of the phone pad? I can change theme in the notmal menus but the phone pad always stays with the T-mobile color scheme... any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks,
Rudy
Hmm... interesting. Anyway, there are tons of better calculator out there. I think the.. Omega(?) has a free calculator software.. and if you do a search on www.freewareppc.com, they ought to have a few .. much advance ones too.
Tons of phonepad available in this forum with iPhone wannabe to.. Vista look-alike. Easiest way to get rid of T-mobile stuff is to go Wiki (under WM5 tweak) to get rid of it and use the default.
Had the same problem.
There IS an calculator, only theres no shortcut made by TM
In the folder WINDOWS\calc.exe
there u got to be. ive made an shortcut to it with SPB Pocket plus.
and for the ugly t-mobile color, just install an skin for it. and do a soft reset.
excuse my bad english
Try tapping Start/ Organiser a new window will open desplaying icons for Claculator, Calendar, Notes and Tasks - Strange place to bury the calculator but it is there - Mike
when installing a skin for the phone pad, does it need to be unlocked first or something... and kindof a noob question, but will i lose my warranty?? Where can I download like legal themes for the PDA??
BTW, i found the calc just where you said it would be mike, And i linked it to my right software button!
Forget the CALC from Windows. Try searching for eval. Nice and free Calculator...
You will find it here

.. and some other nice and usefull programs

TheCatcher's Trinity Black Mod v2

A german user did a really nice black skin for the trinity.
It is downloadable here...
http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=110414
Unfortunatly it is only running on WM5 so far.
Only if more users request it, he will make it WM6 compatible!
So if you like it, let him know...
Which parts of it is not compatible with WM6?

Uli,
Thanks for the link. I checked out the skins, very nice. Although I speak some German, I would prefer to load skins on my device with English button labels. Do you think he might do that for us??? I tried to send him a PM, but the website wouldn't let me. It really looks like the nicest black skin suite that I've seen. Thank him from us .

The Comm-Manager crashes, I think because of the new VoIP-Button etc.
Did you test it on WM6?

Yes, it is confirmed! It works on WM6 without problems.
And it is multilingual. On an english rom, everything is displayed in english!
Very nice!!!

Oh...oops Thanks for clearing that up!
CommManager doesn t work with LSVW Rom 2.0.0.5. I had to uninstall it altough its really nice !
Is right, functions only to version 2.0.0.4. An update should soon appear!
Just tried this, and I do like it. At first I was not happy that it showed "Hide Keyboard" instead of "Contacts" when in Phone mode, and was going to uninstall it.
But then I enabled Video Calls and now "Contacts" is back
Unfortunately, it's true that CommManager doesn't work with it. I can live with it for now, but it'd be nice if it gets fixed soon.
Only other gripe, the start up graphic is a little goofy (what's with that font?!)
O.K., had some time to play with this theme, and now I am not happy with it at all:
1. The theme DOES NOT uninstall cleanly. I was not able to uninstall it with either the standard uninstaller, nor with SKTools. The only way I was able to get rid of it, was by overwriting it with the zombienexus theme indicated below.
2. The Catcher theme is virtually identical to the wm6_blackextra_3g_dialpad from this page: http://www.zombienexus.net/portal/GL_Display.asp?SEC=3&EntryID=513. The only difference I can see is the .tsk background file, which BTW is what causes the problem with CommManager. IMO, unless Catcher was involved in the zombie skin project, he should be giving credit where due.

Anyone can make a skin suite in black it just takes some time, there isn't a copyright on black. I loaded the zombienexus black theme first, and it didn't uninstall cleanly either, in fact, my dialpad had no color after the uninstall, just white boxes. I fixed it by installing the Black Trinity theme. So there you go...

True, except that the zombienexus skins have been around for eons, and the apparently pretty new Catcher skin looks just like their extra-black.
The zombies are pretty well known, as a quick perusal of this and other forums shows, so I somehow doubt Catcher was not aware of their skin before he spent whatever time it took. Perhaps he did some German customization, but a .tsk does not a new "named" theme make....
Whatever.... the zombies theme at least works with 2.0.0.5.
The flash reported a failure (in German, don't remember what exactly - sorry), but the black theme works anyway except for the black background picture. I don't mind since I'm using my own background anyway. My device is WM6 in the Dopodasia variety.
Thanks for the nice theme-work...

Does anybody have solution for uninstalling this theme completely?

After upgrading WM6.5 from WM6.1

HI all to my fellow xda members. I have a problem after I upgrade WM6.5 from WM6.1 by xplode. The screen is garble with certain themes. But some are ok. What problem/s am I facing right now. Im using BA O2 XDA IIs. TIA!
You mean the default themes that came with the 6.5 rom are messed up? Or the ones you put in there?
If those themes are your own then make sure the themes were made for 240 x 320 resolution. To find 240 x 320 themes just type in "mobile9 siemens sx66 theme" and look for the themes you like there. I suggest you search up most downloaded first.
If the default theme is messed up, then I really don't know? I guess try hard reset, or install the rom again??
