can u tell me specify bout ur headset?
basically, anyway, the bluetooth device has to be paired to become known each other.. have you ever do this?
while you configure your xda2, you also have to set your headset into a pairing mode<see ur headset documentation how to do this>
then you have to know the passcode of ur headset<also in your headset documentation> if done, you just make new bluetooth bound on your xda2.
if it doesn't work, anyway, try to download pocket bluetooth tools on:
http://www.bluetooth.jazztel.es/
this is such a good stuff u can try...
that's all, i hope it'll help

I've been watching this forum for quite some time now and usualy find al the answers here. But this time I can't...
I recently received my Artemis, and since I'm a Voipbuster user, I would like to use my Artmis as a 'headset' for my PC, connecting via bluetooth, calling over Voip onmy PC, and talking and listening on my Artemis.
Is this possible and how?
Thanks for all the help,

Hi, I think its easy enough to do so. I use to do this with skype but the idea is the same.
First the bluetooth stack that windows has is no good. You gonna need another one with more profiles. I use the WIDCOMM bluetooth stack.
I dont now what hardware u have, mine was branded in device properties "blutonium" and its internal in my laptop, I search their site and downloaded the said drivers (stack). Now maybe urs maybe different... u should find one and the newest version the best. Use google or something...
Anyway, after installation I run the bluetooth configuration utility and after pairing my bluetooth headset with my laptop I shoose to use the profile "hands free audio" with my headset. Afterwards I open skype and in settings where u choose audio (in which the only option before was my sound card) now appeared the option of my wireless headset. After that the sound comes from my headset.
I think that u can choose to use the Artemis as a "hands free audio device" among others when u do the pairing.
The funny thing is that u can do the opposite and when pairing u can choose your PC to be Artemis' hands free audio meaning that... when u play an mp3 or someting on ur Artemis u can hear it through ur PC speakers... from 10 meters distance...
The only requirement is to have a new and feature-rich bluetooth stack.
Good Luck
Hey thanks a lot for the tip!
I'll try it out

Ihave downlaod btaudio.cab on my phone with rom B&B 4.0.
He answer me always "failed to enable BT audio".
you can tell me what I do wrong or it will not work with this rom.
Thanks.
i have b&b v4..... for me it works fine....
1. Pair your device
2. Set the device as Hands-Free
3. Make sure you are near enough and have activated bluetooth
4. Run BTAudio
its the way it works for me
try this one.
PS: Start BT Audio before u start anything you want to hear over bluetooth
Works perfect now. Using is important

Works perfect. Thanks for instruction.
I can't get it to work in my car! I have a JVC BT1 and it has bluetooth built in. It works fine with calls (i.e. thru speakers) but tom tom only goes thru the unit. So I tried this BT thingy and it doesn't work. I can turn the program on but still nothing. What does it mean, set the device to handsfree?
Thanks
Jon

GPS (Co-Pilot) commands via bluetooth?

I have the O2 Orbit with Co-Pilot software that came with it. I connect the Orbit via bluetooth to the intercom system on my motorcycle. The phone connects automatically every time and I can receive calls as I ride, and listen to WMP (though I prefer to use my ipod).
I set the Co-pilot running the other day but none of the commands would come through the bluetooth connection into my helmet. Do I have a setting wrong or will this not work?
Thanks in advance.
You want btaudio installed to the unit IIRC, have a read of this thread where there is also a download for the plug in to enable the nav voices out through the headset - Mike

Thanks mike.
I have installed it but it doesn't seem to route the audio through the bt to my helmet, but I'll try again later. Do I need to activate btaudio every time I want to use it or will it run automatically?
I couldn't find the 'plug' you mentioned above...
you need to turn the app on if you go to the bluetooth menu and while the helmet is turned on touch and hold the helmet bluetooth name and select set as bt audio if this is not present the use mikes method it all depends on wheather the helmets bluetooth is compatable with the artimis

Two ways to do this - get a bluetooth headset that supports A2DP streaming ( I have a Sony DR-BT30Q) then all audio comes through the headset.
Alternatively, use VJvolubilis (http://www.vijay555.com/?Releases:VJVolubilis) - you'll need to set up a shortcut to run it with -agon to stream all audio through your bluetooth device. It worked for me on a BMW car kit!
Thanks guys.
Alix, I'll try that when I get home. The b/t must be compatible as I can receive phone calls on the bike and listen to WMP.
TT, I have no choice but to keep the headset I have as it is part of the wired intercom system and is fitted into my helmet. The b/t connectivity comes through a dongle supplied by the intercom manufacturer and sits beneath the seat with the intercom controller. It works fine with some apps, but just not Co-Pilot.
Not sure what this means :

NO...There is no application available for the Tilt2 or any other WM based device that i am aware.
You can use your Tilt2 as the Sender and redirect all sounds from your phone over blue-tooth to a headset, Computer or and other blue-tooth reciver.
BT Audio avalible here works for me.
What a pity that this funcionality does not exist for WM !!
I would love to connect my old HX4700 to speakers and send music to it from any device... anyway you can buy hardware bluetooth receiver.
