HTC TyTn II microUSB to miniUSB headset

hello, i have a headset that is a microUSB and i'm wondering can i convert the headset with no converter i mean just the cables this is what i have
Does the microUSB allow for headphones like the HTC extUSB did, or is it just for data transfer and charging?
With extUSB, some of the pins were for audio (left, right, mic).
For example, this thread has circuits for building your own hands-free phones/mic:

Silly question. Can I use a standard 3.5mm Headphone/Speaker

On the G1 we did not have an option for a 3.5mm Headphone/speaker without using the adapter with built in speaker.
Now the EVO has both a 3.5mm Jack and a standard Micro USB Jack. When I tried to play music through my car stereo, the 3.5mm Jack on my double sided 3.5mm Jack cancels out the speaker, so I can't use the speaker on the phone.
I know it sounds complicated, but for normal talking, can I use the 3.5mm Jack with a standard Headset?
And for the car, would I need a special 3.5mm ---> 3.5mm (with built in speaker?) or do I use another MicroUSB--->3.5mm Adapter.

[Q]3.5mm headphone jack 90 degrees adapter + inline remote

Hello,
Does anyone have experience with a 90degrees adapter for the headphone jack? My headsets plug is straight, but it was too expensive to switch to another one.
All adapters I found online have 4 pins in and 3 pins out. Are there other ones or does the inline remote work with this kind of adapters?

[Q] Does GN have a combo audio connector

Does Galaxy Nexus have a combo audio connector?
Combo connector (aka iPhone/Apple connector) is a connector that bundles input(mic) and output to a single 3.5mm connector instead of two separate connectors. That would allow headphone to use GN's 3.5mm connector for input and output.
I'm thinking about buying a mobile headset and this would affect my decision. Though headsets with combo connectors are pretty rare.
GN does have a combo audio connector.
I connected a headset with input and output connectors to GN using combo audio adapter. I recorded audio clips with audio adapter connected and disconnected. Difference with external microphone was obvious.
