advice on quality stereo headset for xda II - General Accessories

looking for a quality stereo headset to listen to music on my device (not bluetooth). i currently have a motorola earbud type one but the sound is just not loud enough. it'd be also nice to have some controll buttons on it (eg. stop/play, next/previous track and volumecontroll) anyone using the headsets for the dopods? (i wonder what the quality is on inner ear type headsets)
thx
mark

i use this one

I got the HP Bluetooth Headphones. They seem to pimp them for only the iPaq and such, but they'll work with any A2DP device.

May I suggest our 2.5mm JAVOeBuds?

Modding sony ericsson speakers

Hi all, so my girlfriend has one of those sony ericsson walkman phones and with it, she received some special mount on speakers which just connect to the bottom of the phone.

That's what they look like. Well, they aren't battery powered or anything and they're surprisingly good quality! Way better than the rubbish you find on Ebay..
So my question is this:
Would it be possible to rewire a male mini USB to replace the sony ericsson style end on that and use it for my Hermes? I'd love these speakers so they could mount to the bottom of my phone rather than having them loose on wires.
I could take the easy route and just buy a speaker dock for 3.5mm and get a usb>3.5mm adaptor.. But that's too messy with cabling.
Any advice is appreciated
Cheers

Connecting galaxy note2 to my stereo

Is it possible to connect my note to my old Denon amplifier? Line in on amp is RCA only. Is there an dongle/dock with allshare ore wifi that has RCA out?

Have you tried mini headphone jack to RCA connector. Radio Shack.

Better yet, wire this up to your amp

APT-X audio is great, no wires.
You'll need to run stock rom though (or perhaps a debloated stock rom)
No one seems to have put any effort into getting APT-X in any AOSP rom.

Viper4Android Audio For Xperia
Listening to music of some kind has always been one of the most favorite pastimes of human race since the dawn of civilization. We have got an innate love of music even in this digital world. And when it comes to enjoying our favorite songs, our little all-in-one companion is always the first choice. Good audio quality is half the substance of multimedia experience on any mobile device. You cannot enjoy a good song unless your phone has a really nice audio engine that makes you groove with ecstasy. Unfortunately, very few Android devices are capable of giving the ultimate experience that touches the level of our satisfaction.

image should help you if you want to resolder your headphones from CTIA to OMTP. The safest way to do so would be to remove microphone altogether.
The problem was solved on the same day.
It was the defective plug.
