as far as i know it have to be build into the rom
only wm2005 for xdaII and a chineese 2003SE for XDAII seem to have it
where can i get the chinese patch for o2 xda II ?????
as i saw many post also said windows media 10
now just plugin with the rom.....

I read on the microsoft mobile site that Mobile 5 is not compatible with phones that uses mobile 2003. See this page:

That's normally true but...when M$ were developing WM5 they tested it on a couple of PDAs including the Blue Angel. While not officially released by M$ - it has leaked out and you can use it at your own risk. One of the developers of WM5 has a blog where all this is explained. Can anyone help me in finding a ROM upgrade for my XDA orbit (O2 UK) which is look alike to iPhone (or in other words touch flow) I have tried few ROM upgrade like Artemis_Touch_3.01 but the upgrade is failing with "File corrupted" error message. My XDA currently running on WM6 (windows mobile 6).

I've just bought an XDA ORBIT. It runs on Windows Mobile 5 and has TOMTOM 6 installed.
*** DO I RISK UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 6.0 OR NOT? ***
I seems to read mixed messages out there. I've heard TomTom6 runs better on Windows 5?
I also have copilot 6.0 discs which I could use instead. Anyone have a preference between Tomtom6 and Copilot 6 on the xda orbit?

The XDA orbit seems to be the same as the HTC Artemis. Look in the Artemis specific forums for more information. WM6 is definitely a worthful upgrade and is completely safe provided you don't do anything stupid (read the intructions).
