JasJar wireless Bluetooth stereo hack.. - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

I've read much recently about a "CAB file" created by Khuanchai which enables A2DP style wireless bluetooth stereo on versions of the iMate JasJar. The topic is discussed at length here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=275656&sid=494a2df12b48a1e8fdca8ae0e7bfb752
I own an "O2 Exec" which is a rebadged JasJar and would like to download and install this feature if it is safe to do so.
Does anyone know where this CAB file can be found, and, more importantly will it work on my mobile ? A link would be nice.
If there is risk, then it might be worth waiting for the official release, in which case I'd be interested in knowing if anyone knows when this will be ?
Thanks,
Alan

Well, this isn't exactly the same as what you described (the link you gave us refers to the 818 pro, anyway), but should work:

URGENT : is This rom A2DP ??

Hi, i'd like to know if the French rom 1.30.97.186FRE_SHIP , has A2DP.
i searched through the forum but, didn't find anything about it.
Please give me an anwnser if you have any info, it's an emergency
Thanks a lot
I believe qtek have released a rom that is a2dp.
don't know the quality.
thanks for your reply
This is a little sidetrack, but is on the same subject...
I used German T-Mobile ROM earlier (desember/januar I think) that had A2DP.
I swapped it with the latest english ROM from QTEK ("WWE" = WorldWideEnglish!?), since I do not speak a word German, so it was a bit "painfull" to use a German ROM just because I wanted A2DP!
I believe that this is the ROM I use now...
ftp://xda:[email protected]_WWE_13077_130176_10900_WWE_Ship_GR2.0.1.exe
[EDIT] Woooo, seems like I have linked to a GREEK ROM!? Got a PM from joebush...sorry about that!!! Anyway...I have an english version of that ROM...but don't know the exact link to that installation file!
...but that is an WWE/english ROM...so that is possibly not really a solution for you...even though I can confirm it has both A2DP and PushMail and works fine (for me at least.
No problem , thanks anyway, i just hope & cross fingers, cause i want to use my Universal with the new Jabra BT620s headphones.
Qtek 9000 and Jabra BT620s
I just purchased that headset. I am using the lastest WWE firmware, but as I posted to another thread the sound internittently gets through to the headset when using a2dp. Regular headset mode works fine. Not sure why this is happening.
damn, i hope it will work for me, or we'll need to wait for a new rom wich have a better support of A2DP
Yeah, this is irritating. I got a reply from Qtek support. They said they got A2DP working with a headset (got it working? didn't it just work?). They didn't remember which headset it was, and they haven't done any exhaustive A2DP testing yet.
Strange.

On a side note... if your device is not a proper qtek you might get a ilegal rom message and it will keep rebooting... i had this problem with this rom before as well as some others from what i searched!
the previous one on ftp without wwe twice works fine.

Equalizer,bass,treble

Has anyone found a way to add a hardware equalizer as ipaqaudio, or X50mix, or dsp_en for WM5??
It would be so nice

Moderator - read the forum rules - multiple threads not allowed - the others have been deleted!

Sorry
I just wanted to be sure that the maximum people could see my post
No problem - its just because it can put alot of people out.
I have been looking for the same thing myself - dsp_en does not work i have tried many configurations.
Crossbow - the next version of wm promises it included in wmp but dont hold your breath as wm5 aku 3.0+ promised it but did not appear.
So there are the standalone apps TPCMP has an equalizer built in as does pocket music player and the conduits player. I found PMP worked well but for some reason occ exited so i did not buy it. I may ask someone in the forum to put one together for wm5. Or crossbow will be with us soon - see what that brings - and of course TPCMP is free.

latest version i have doesnt have it
Thanks - maybe with photon then or is all this pie in the sky.
Btw i am after the genuine crossbow theme to analyse it with my friend BenThon the creator of ThemeGenCE so as to make wm6 themes - grateful if you could post it or send to me.
I have discoverd in the registry that when I put the ipaqaudio and I modify the values, it modifies the values (and put the same value number) in
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\AdvancedCPL"
That could mean that it is those values that have to be changed. However when I try without ipaqaudio it don't do anything
Please I'm sure some could do something to make us have a hardware equalizer like on the new HTC LOVE or like the o2 media plus
It's too bad that no one is interesting in having a good sound.
I had a lot of mp3 players. One day I had my qtek s100(htc magician i think) and it was the best one(thanks to dsp_en) in sound output.Whatever the impedance of the headphone you put on it the sound is incredible with punch bass.I don't know how or why but pocket pc have powerful sound output (further better than no-bass-because-of-too-little-impedance-IPOD)
Having an hardware equalizer or bass and treble modification is far more interesting and good than software eq as tcpmp or gsplayer.

SIP client in WM6

Hello all,
I'm a new user to the WM XDA Live 0.20 OS.
I flashed it yesterday and it's working brilliantly.
I had one question about a new feature that should be in WM6.
I read reports and messages that there should be a SIP client build into WM6
I read on Kyphur's thread (first post with all the in's and out's of his OS) that 'Internet Calling' isn't at all ready and included in WM6.
has anyone more info for me about this?
And when I need SIP client for my WM6, what are the experiences and reccomendations from the users here?
thanks.
btw. I think Kyphur (and the team) are doing a perfect job....
Hey,
a working SIP Client in one of the next XDA Lives Releases would be fantastic

Until the Native WM6 works, I am using SJPhone
.
Just to expand on the WM6 SIP Client.
At this point in time it is an incomplete product. There does not exist any configuration tools for it and even though there are a couple of .dlls we can't really confirm that they do to much at this point.
I decided not to include it because it they ever complete it we can always add it with a Cab file.
Kyphur, can you create the cab file? A few people with your Rom would like to assist in trying to get it to work and they have been asking how to enable it.
Thanks
The VoIP installer cab that I did can be found here
I got lower latency using x-lite v2.22 than sjphone. It is also not as resource-hungry as sjphone. Might be hard to find as i think it is discontinued but its out there ;-)
Hey, do you a have link for the v2.22?
I just can find v1.0
http://rs26.rapidshare.com/files/11745634/X-Pro_Softphone_for_Pocket_PC_2.2.2.rar
Thanks!
You really made my day
X-Lite won't work, but for some reason this Version works great.
Do you know how i can use a BT Headset with this?
Because right now it uses the speaker for the calls.
Where can i configure the sip settings when i installed the wm6 voip thing?

I use the cab found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=278778 to redirect the sound to my bluetooth headset.

Music from my TyTN with WM6 (LVSW) via my HCB-30 carkit

Hello all,
I use LVSW's latest WM6. That's why I post my queston here.
Because my TyTN was to a repaircenter, I used a Nokia-phone. With the Nokia I could play music via my BT-carkit, a Sony Ericsson HCB-30.
Now I was wondering if I could play music from my TyTN via my BT-carkit.
There is a lot written about A2DP. When I pair my BT-carkit, I only see the 'Hands-free' option and no 'Stereo-something'. So, what's next to do?
This A2DP is new for me, so maybe I am asking a question while the answer is already in this forum. Then give me positive feedback how to find the answer.
Thank in advance

Please HELP me with my XDA SP WM 2003

Hello,
I'm sure answers to these question must be posted here already but I haven't been able to find them so far.
I have recently acquired a XDA SP (don't know which version) and I have several questions about it, so I hope someone can help:
1. I have some bluetooth stero headphones which I currently use with a Dell Axim. Can I use these with my XDA SP? The bluetooth stack doesn't support them currently, so is there an upgrade I can apply? How?
2. The phone only seems to offer "Dial-up network Networking" as a service; how can I get it to offer file browsing, etc.?
finally, for now
3. Can I upgrade the OS to WM5 (or preferably 6)? How?
thanks in advance.
