Upgrading XDA IIi

Hey,I am newbie to upgrading process of xda II i.I have bought it from someone else.and the following are the rom versions.
ROM VERSION 1.72.00 WWE
ROM DATE 03/15/04
RaDIO VERSION 1.17.00
PROTOCOL VERSION 1337.28
EXTENDED ROM 1.72.181
I need to know what is the latest rom for this since this phone hangs too much and has to be restrated again and again.
I went through tthe forums and got to know that the O2 rom can be upgraded to other manufactures roms.
Are other utlities uploaded in to the phone separately or are available in the rom update only.

Can anyone plz help me in updating my ROM. My device is O2 XDA II Mini . i dont know how to do it. and wht are its benifits

I have tried a ouple off the site and they didnt work....

Why not downloading one of the great ROMs from here and install it ?
I'm sure in the Himalaya-forum you will find what you need

help to upgrade to wm6

I have an htc o2 xda exec with mobile 5. I want to upgrade to 6 and cannot find the software. Can anyone help me with a link or anything.
