Bluetooth or USB Mouse? - P3300, MDA Compact III General

Seeing as it the MDAC3 has a mouse mode is it possible to link a bluetooth or mini usb mouse to the device and use it to controll Mouse Mode insted of the built in trackball?
It would be neat to be able to use an external bluetooth keyboard and mouse

Why not? Here and many others. They have their own interface.

Going wireless is a good idea for gamers and heavy users, but for general use you're much better off with a USB optical. Some good info here: http://www.pickyguide.com/computers_and_software/wireless_mouses_guide.html

Xoom + Android 3.1 + Logitech DiNovo Mini = perfection

Paired my Logitech DiNovo Mini with my Xoom on 3.1, and both mouse and keyboard in it work perfectly. It is just the right size for getting some work done, though the mouse could use a bit more acceleration
All in all, a great little accessory - next step is to make a charger cable for USB so I can leave the DiNovo adapter at home.

Captivate always on mikey's latest wonder, whether Serendipity or GR-11
I'm uploading a youtube video but will describe my findings with my DiNovo Mini:
- It's responsive enough for government work
- Home is FN-e (explorer)
- Volume Up and Down buttons work
- Rewind, Stop, Play/Pause and Fast Forward all work
- Page Up and Page Down work great in a browser
- Mouse control is great in an RDP client connected to a windows box: I will put my foot in my mouth on this one. This functionality alone enables all levels of professionals to hit the field knowing they can have dependable RDP support and also have the precision and control of a mouse while using the tablet. I could see a doctor carrying this from room to room with a little dinovo mini, setting it down and entering in patient information all while keeping his own equipment secure. The uses are endless.
Here ya go check it out:

I have a similar setup and I also swear by PocketCloud.
Out of curiosity since you guys are Pocketcloud users. I just set it up for the first time (thanks for bringing it to my attention!) and was wondering if you guys know if it supports multiple monitor setups? I run 3 mobitors on my main PC and would love to be able to switch between monitors. Is LogMeIn ignition my best bet?
Thanks!

When used in RDP mode I can tell you that it will not. All desktops get squashed into one. VNC mode may be different.

In Logmein, I can pick which monitor I want, or watch all three at the same time. I can select through the menu, or shake to switch. Pretty neat.
I tried also dinovo edge and it working perfect with all the shortcuts and volume slider

When using the bluetooth keyboard as a keyboard, does the on-screen keyboard still pop-up or do you get to use the Xoom full screen *and* type?

Possible to use i747 as htpc?

Hey guys-
I am looking to create a sudo htpc out of my I747(ATT GS3) and have a couple of questions. Im hoping someone can answer them and/or have done the same thing as I am trying to do.
1. How does the US variant stack up in hdmi out performance compared to the i9300? Ive tried searching xda as well as youtube for the answer
2. I am also planning on connecting a couple peripherals: a bluetooth gaming controller, keyboard, and mouse for pc type browsing. What keyboard and mouse do you guys recommend for that specific purpose?
3. What kind of apps are used to connect a controller like the sixaxis controller to use for gaming( emulation and supported native games)? Also, how is the gaming performance, both visual and latency using the controller on the US variant Galaxy?
I appreciate all of the input I receive from you guys.

mouse (pointer) emulation in browser

Is it possible to make an app or anything to enable a mouse pointer ? like the air over effekt on a note2 to with the pen
on my n900 it works - shown in the vid
cant post the link, take a look at youtube: "Nokia N900: How to use Mouse Mode"
Maybe with a bluetooth mouse or USBOTG and a usb mouse.
^ Confirmed it works that way.
It's not even recognized as "fake" touch, since touch-based gestures don't work with it (like GMD Gesturecontrol).

If you want something small and only for basic infrequent use, like the occasional text input or quick mouse usage, then I use this and love it.

K320 works fine.
But I need to change the keyboard layout.

[Q] Possible to use a BT mouse and BT keyboard?

I briefly used a BT mouse and keyboard with nexus thor. Don't recall the brand of mouse; pretty sure it was a Logitech. While both devices connected sucessfully the overall experience wasn't satisfactory given touch centric interface. I quickly reverted back to BT keyboard (AmazonBasics) and my trusty finger smudging up the screen.

I frequently use both a BT keyboard and BT mouse with my Kindle HDX 8.9. I even use it to log in to my computer at work through the vpn and at home through Logmein, and the mouse/keyboard combo is much easier to use than the on screen kb and touch screen.
