Rom update utility MFC application has stopped working. I really want this on my cingular 8125 iots awesome but dont know to ask , hope i asked in the right place , becauuse everyone i talked 2 pointed me this way , hopefully ill have luck an can acomplish something with a little help from the people that know this stuff, thank you for letting me post this an hopefully ill have a answer

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to have “Rosetta Stone” the language learning software running on HTC Rhodium: Touch Pro2, Tilt 2. I am currently trying to learn Tagalog spoken in the Philippines. I would be very thankful if someone can help me out on this. I am never home since I am a part time student and working full time so this would help me out greatly. If someone can help me out I would be very thankful and as a promise I will buy you a drink
I have tried converting software to convert language files (but I don’t know where to ever start)
I have searched online but majority of the post were at least 2 year old and did not help at all.
I have Rosetta stone on my PC which downloaded form torrents and it is installed but I have to use Power ISO. To mount the language CD and then study.
Also I am a noob therefore detail guide would be greatly appreciated thank you very much.

AAAAAA!!!!! There has to be away, because I dont think the company will be doing that anytime soon . Also I have heard few people have been converting file form the Windows version in order to run on windows mobile but I just dont know where to start converting and which files to convert :/

You cant just convert an .exe to a.cab fine and pop it in the phone and have it run. You would basically have to rewrite an entire new program.
Do a GOOGLE for Rosetta Stone WM there are lots of options out there on other forums that cannot be posted on this forum

you can convert the downloaded torrent files to mp4 using "videora htc touch pro2 converter"...i have some p90x videos on my tp2...videora converts everything...lol...best of all its free...you may want to convert it while you sleep cause it can be a little slow, depending on the quality you select...
i know this isn't really what you meant but couldn't you run it through remote desktop? i think there a way to have the sound come out through the device speakers.

There is a slight problem with your solution: rosetta stone isn't videos, it's interactive software so you can't just convert it and make it smaller. I think the best solution is just to use RDC. If you tried to put language cds on your phone it would slow to a crawl if not more trying to read the large files.

Thank you everyone but i guss i have no option than to sit on my PC and study which is like 20 to 30 min a day . I would have been very helpfull since i spend 2 to 3 traveling each day. If anyone figus out anyway please let me know and i would be very thankfull.

I don't think the dude knew what he was talking about. I have been longing for a mobile version of Rosetta Stone forever.
Can't one install Linux or something on the phone and then run the app from there?
Tried a session through remote desktop, only problem is that Rosetta Stone in full-screen wasn't really full-screen, wrong aspect ratio and hence a significant part of the right screen on my phone went unused. I couldn't get speech recognition to work either. Anyone have an idea on how to enable a bluetooth microphone to send audio to the pc from the phone remotely?
adjust remote desktop setting to have it adjust the screen size tot he size fo your phone screen. you can also adjust the color quality there.
Could be. I still need to know how to map my microphone to the remote session and then have Rosetta Stone use the microphone for its own purposes.

coming from windows mobile I´m pretty much a noob in bada, so I have still questions about the standard behavior of the phone. first of all, is there automatic backlight adjustment?
I´m having further problems with the samsung tv remote app. i downloaded it on the appstore. It says that it is working with the wave II s8530 and my tv (samsung le37b650). sending videos and pics through allshare works fine (tv found), but tv remote app won´t find my tv. help is much appreciated

ps.: funny thing is ... using the htc-diamond for about 3 years the wave II is weak at all the points the diamond is good (outlook-sync, navigation, gps) and extreamly strong on all the negative aspects of the htc-diamond (battery, photos, mp3 & video playback). appstore, and widgets are pretty poor but i hope there is a possibility to create own widgets (or maybe i find a non-childish-looking-calender app somewhere) ... hopefully someone can give me a hint on how to delete all the vodafone apps on my phone or on how to flash the latest fw with social hub premium working

you must (Debrand)unlock the phone first because if you flashed the phone now it will brick
if you did that come to this thread again and i will help you right away
i am not sure if you can flash a branded phone or not but no one tried as it is dangerous

I've got the game : The Oregon Trail, downloaded an *.Apk from a trusted site.
The game works perfect untill im comming to a mini game thats called : Gold Panning. Its before u got to go across a river.
I know what the controls are because ive watched it on Youtube. But somehow i just can't get the mini game to work. The idea of the game is that u find gold in a basket. So u need to shake ''tilt'' the phone to find the gold pieces.
But i can shake my phone untill i'm 100 years old but i've never seen a gold piece.
So i've tryed to find a solution on google and diffirent forums. I've installed GPS Status and everything works like it should be. I've got CM7 installed om my HTC HD.
So i want to know if anyone else does have the same problem or i'm so stupid that i should play the mini game in a diffirent way?
