Who could post Internet Sharing.exe from WM5 smartphone. I've got WM6 Smartphone Edition from Cingular on my Blackjack. They removed Internet Sharing from Windows directory. I can see only lnk file in it. Need an exe file. Thank you

I tried WModem. Though it seem not to be functioning the same way as Internet Sharing would. Never figured it out to work. Still need Internet Sharing. I do thank you for helping.

Let's stick to the name of the thread first and send the replies relevant to the question above. Usually it is frustrating as well as difficult to filter topical info through numerous deviating and aside-from-original point requests. Let's not junk and jumble up our forums. I just upgraded to WM6 Vanilla on my 8525. I now no longer have access to the internet through the 3G data service.. Also the keyboard is messed up.. I could careless for WM5.. this phone was seriously pissin me off with WM5.. it was so slow and froze up all the time.. etc. Things seem a lot faster with the WM6 Vanilla.. but I'd like to have more features..
I'd appreciate some help.. I read and searched as much as possible but most of these threads have 30+ pages
PS. Wireless doesn't work either.. the Wifi won't turn on.
I really want to keep WM6.. I just want the full features of WM5 along with it..
Perhaps you should do some more reading then. If you look at the thread with a title something like XDA Live issues (its in consolidated sticky), you'll find a fix for your keyboard - I'm assuming you're running an 8525 or whatever you US guys call it?
I don't know why you flashed Vanilla as well, you'd have been better off with XDA Live.
Your internet problem is due to not having the settings for your provider now. You might find the answer in a thread, there might be an ExtROM cab you can run to get the settings, or you might have to find them on the providers website and manually enter them.
I would like to keep PTT.
I just tried XDA... not appealing to me. I like Vanilla.. just not so damn plain.. wish it was full feature.
dont you get it...its not meant to have any extras just plain "vanilla", if you want extras just add them as most stuff wotrks if you install it, ive got vannila with only what i need, tomtom and my provider settings, and works perfect for me

Sorry to tell you, neither WM6 Rom supports PTT.
Actually Vanilla can't support it (need to swap some important system files and it can't be done with a cab file) whereas there are a couple of people working on getting it to work with WMXL (WM XDA Live)...

I was just wondering, the other day i believe I had LVSW Slueth's varient wm6, and it had bluetooth explorer as like a drive. when ever you connected to another device it would show you there files and you could download them to your phone , yada yada. It's a really cool devine!!
I've been searching the forums for the past week hoping to surface something on it... no luck! I was wondering if there is a cab out there for it or if the bt explorer is only in the variants for LVSW?
I believe I've posted this in the right forum its a wm6 upgrade question. I hate 2 be a newb on this forum. if its not the right place can a moderator send this in the right direction.

Hi guys i am also looking for an rss reader for my s620 Excalibur. I used to use Dr Martin Gonzo RSS Hub on my s710 vox, does anyone know if this would work with the Excalibur ?. Runing WM6.1 080408 Final For Excalibur WWE with English - By Kavana, I dont want to install on the offchance of it working and possibly make my system buggy as i have spent too days setting up my Excalibur after rom install.

thank you very much for your help and for being a test pilot. i have went ahead and installed but have found a slight problem, any help in solving it would be appreciated, have set up rss feed to give home screen notification of an updated feed, however when i go to check my email account via my today screen i get the message (cant find rssHub or one or more components). after pressing ok i then get accsess to my email account. any idea on this problem?

Not sure but it may be because it's come from another ROM so some of the files that relate it to the email account may be missing "as in intergration"

I know it's possible to set up ppcs to have Japanese input (i've set up my tilt to do so) but can this be done on a smartphone?
If anyone has any feedback regarding this that would be a great help! Thanks!

Yup its posible I've done it before my dash.
with english and japanese/chinese characters it was a .cab file that I downloaded from some company I delet it the file some time ago because I have the new rom from kavana that has english/chinese so I din't think I would need it anymore. The only proble I had was that it took alot of memory from the phone.

Does anyone have the extraction from a T Mobile Dash for My Faves? I have a Dash that was flashed with a ROM when I had access to XP. Now that I have no XP access and I now have a MyFave Plan I can't flash to the original ROM, and well would still like to keep my cooked ROM.
