since I succesfully upgraded my MDA III from WM2003 to WM5, I'm no longer able to us internet over GPRS.
Does anyone know how to set up the Dutch Tmobile GPRS settings for my MDA III...

There seems to be a new QTek rom on the dutch Qtek site.

But you need to be a Qtek owner to register.

Er is een nieuwe AKU2.0 ROM update beschikbaar. Deze update bevat het Microsoft Messaging & Security Feature Pack (MSFP) dat push e-mail mogelijkheden van Microsoft mogelijk maakt. Verder verbetert deze update, onder andere, de kwaliteit van de GSM & GPRS/UMTS verbinding en de Bluetooth verbinding van het toestel. De installatie-instructies treft u tevens aan in onderstaand bestand. Lees deze goed door alvorens u de update uitvoert.

It seems like a dutch rom, but the WWE makes me thinks its an english rom .... Did the Original Dutch rom have the WWE in its version information?
Het lijkt een nederlandse rom, maar de WWE letters doen me wel denken aan een engelse rom.... Had de originele nederlandse rom ook WWE in zijn versie-informatie staan?

Die wwe zorgde ervoor dat ik gisteren avond niet een update gedaan heb.
I would upgrade if it is a real dutch rom and not a half half thingy, nobody who installed it?

HTC Europe released their WM6 roms officially and although I'm satisfied about my current Black Satin with radio 1.48 I'd like to install the official dutch rom on my device.
However looking at the filename of the official rom I'm not sure if that is possible? (HTC_TyTN_NLD_3.54.254.2_102_6275_1.47.00.10_108.exe)
Obviously the radio version of this update is 1.47.00.10 whereas my current radio version is 1.48.00.00 and while looking around on xda-developers I got the feeling downgrading the radio is risky business?
And what about the "_3.54.254.2_102_6275_" part in the filename? Does it refer to the protocol version? It sure doesn't look as the protocol version displayed on my device: "32.81.7020.20H"
I've installed Olipro's HardSpl 2.10 so I guess there's a safety mechanism, but I would appreciate some expert opinions.

Just flashed the official dutch tytn rom from the htc website last night after running around with black satin for 2 weeks. Haven't had any problems with it so far. Regarding the rom version: I've chosen to use the newer 1.50.00 version, but I'm sure that the rom version that comes with the download will not cause any problems. About the performance: I believe the official runs a bit smoother than Satin, but than again I miss some of the features that JJ uses in his roms. Luckely there are cabs for every program on this forum (check DiStefano's Cab Collection)
One problem and haven't figured it out yet: can't seem to install HTC Home (JUVS or Kaiser or HTC version) just a blank space, even after soft reset. Probeer de officiëele rom gewoon een keer...
Heb vandaag ook de nieuwe WM6 update geinstalleerd en dacht ook even de HTC Home plugin te installeren, maar bleef ook zitten met een leeg stuk.
Na wat speur werk kwam ik erachter dat je drie bestanden in je windows map moet renamen. Het heeft te maken met de land code.
De drie bestanden zijn :
HTC HDlg.exe.0409 renamen naar HTC HDLG.exe.0413
HH_0409_WeatherCities renamen naar HH_0413_WeatherCities
HTCHome.dll.0409 renamen naar HTCHome.dll.0413
Het heeft te maken met de landcode. De landcode voor Nederlands is dus 0413.
Mocht je de bestanden niet in je windows map hebben staan dan moet je een andere homeplugin downloaden.
Ik heb het vanmiddag hier op het forum gevonden, maar kan het nu ff niet meer vinden.
Nou nog even gezocht en op onderstaande post kun je eventueel ook nog de juiste cab vinden.

Hi DiStefano,
I had also the same problem. You need to do the following:
I made it work with this cab JUVS_HTC_Home_Color.cab
Then make the following adjustments:
Go into Windows folder and rename
the following files according to your country (following for germany):
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui -> HTCHome.dll.0407.mui
HTC HDlg.exe.0409.mui ->HTC HDlg.exe.0407.mui
HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml -> HH_0407_WeatherCities.xml
htcbtql.dll.0409.mui -> htcbtql.dll.0407.mui
This worked for me! Only I used 0413 for the Dutch language.

What worries me, is not so much the OS version but more the radio version "downgrade". Searching and reading xda-developers I understand downgrading the radio version is not encouraged.
After registering at HTC-eClub at the official htc europe site I can download the upgrade with radio 1.47 only (at least I assume it's radio 1.47!)
So when you upgraded what was the radio version before the upgrade and where did you get the 1.50 version?
And btw: Love your cab-collection!

When I used Satin I had the 1.48.00 radio version. The radio version that comes with the official is indeed 1.47.00. I used it like it came for 1 day and expierenced no problems. After 1 day I decided to give radio 1.50.00 a try, also no problems. I believe there are also versions without the radio upgrade. Some guy extracted the radio versions for every official rom upgrade and putted them on rapidshare. Like that, you will only upgrade the OS. I believe you can find them in this thread

it`s stock, but i re cooked it so that you don`t get the id code probleem on your MDA.

You have to use HSPL first.
(je zou toch eerst een HSPL moet gebruiken voordat je deze rom op je MDA kan zetten.
gebruik maar gewoon 1.40 OliNex HSPL.

Rom is stable
the rom is stable the only tiny thing is you must doe a hard reset
+-(Plus ,Minus)2 times if you don't you get some errors i was busy whit my
contacts and i get some errors but i think when you try so many roms like my
you must doe some hard reset for less errors is normal i think and
memory usage is a little bit high for the rest a good original cooked rom
there you go my 2 cents .thanx for this great rom

na de hard-reset je telefoon softresetten (voordat de t-mobile sh*t werd uitgepakt.
Kan je dat ook met deze MDA doen? Zie namelijk nergens iets vergelijkbaars voor deze toestel.. dus het enige wat mij hiervan kan redden is een andere ROM nemen?
Zo ja, kan ik (ergens?) de orginele ROM van HTC op de MDA flashen?

hi,the answer is yes you must use this software is 99.99 porcent oke
im using this from yesterday without any kind of problem maybe a tiny one
but im a flash addict first you must use the olinex hspl 1.40 unsigned

(je zou toch eerst een HSPL moet gebruiken voordat je deze rom op je MDA kan zetten.
gebruik maar gewoon 1.40 OliNex HSPL.

You can use this STOCK recooked NLD HTC Rom on your MDA. First just use Olinex 1.40 HSPL.before runninn new rom. and read post before.

Yes You Can
Just use OliNex1.40 first en then install this Rom
Gewoon Olinex1.40 eerst raaien en daarna kan deze rom gewoon op je MDA.
(ik denk dat CDMA toestellen zijn voor GPRS & HSDPA en GSM toestellen zijn zonder mobile netwerk en dus alleen om te bellen zonder internet dus geen GPRS of HSDPA, G3 en EDGE verbinding.)
