I'm searching for a batery backup replacement, not normal batery, I refer to insede batery, like a clock battery.
Anyone knos Where to buy???

maybe pc bios batts are the same
take it out and bring it to the place you normaly

On Qtek 9000, when battery come on 20% the 9000 turn off. I try with another battery and 9000 it is ok.
How can be possible recharge all battery, and after that try again.?
It´s a known problem.
And if you searched around, you would have found many similar topics... and the solution for the problem, without opening a new one...
To save you from ALL that work, I'll give you the solution: buy a new battery!!!
Has anyone bought aone of those longer lasting batteries?
Which ones work best and don't stick out (so I can still use dock and case).

Hy! All Batteries are bigger, but how much bigger. I have 3600mAh and it is big. there are few models of batteries. Look in specifications about dimensions. Other wise battery life of my batt is 3 to 4 days with much usage. It makes my BA bigger but its affordable for sure.

I have a 2500 MaH battery, it cannot site in the cradle for sync or recharge. I use the travel charger to re-charge the unit.
Hi, it is possible to measure your battery thickness to compare (2400 and 3600mA)? I have just one original battery but think to buy another one and the bad thing is that i can't find dimensions, so i can't figure how much bigger my xda to become

Mine became about 2mm thicker.

I have the 2400mA/Hr extended battery on the IIs and its great, you can still fit it to the charger/ sync cradle (just) and the duration from a full charge is great, certainly over ten hours powered up and in use - it does add weight and a little bulk to the device, but I would not go back to the OEM battery - Mike

Hi guys. recently i bought 3600mah for imate pda2k extended battery on ebay. i installed it n everythings fine, but strangely i noticed that my system suddenly hard reset in wm2003se. this prompted me to upgrade to wm5 rom but again the system resets by itself occasionalllly. i require help here. thnx.

As soon as the battery meter shows 74% the device shuts down and will only restart if powered via the USB port. Once the battery is re-charged to 100% the device works fine again until 74%. I assume somewhere there is a setting for the battery threshold voltage.
(Same with a new battery)
Can anyone help?

Any one know where can i get a High Miliamp ( ex 2500Ma) like battery for my Xda Atom Exec. ? I found one for my previous Imate Jamin worked fine.

i've read from one of the post that extended battery create much heat and leaves our dear love atoms into unstable state, possible permanent damage. let us know how it turns out...?

I bought one a couple of months ago, didn't last long - it started leaking and died.

started leaking! did it mess up the/your unit as well? i believe those leaks could cause serious problems to the unit, im not sure thou...

I use MUGEN type and that has been very good. No over heating and lasts whole day when using GPS software when the normal battery would be dead in 2-3 hours. here is one site that sells on the web.

In fact the same battery and cover fits both the standard atom and the Atom Life.....probably the Atom Exec as well.

I bought one just a month ago and so far cero problems, no heating, no leaking, only longer power...My previous battery (the original) could only mantain energy for 1 day without using the pda, but if I turned on wifi it only lasted 1 hour.
So I use to mantain my atom exec connected at my car and at my work, now since I bought this new battery 3500ma, I havent connected it to my car, and havent dropped charge below 50% in a month! because every day I connect it to my PC at work but after using the device for the weekend in a normal fashion I only reconnect it on Monday.
Only drawback is the battery is bigger double sized so it came with a different back cover.
I have paid 25 dollars at ebay and I am happy with it.

I'm using a rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery from the company Cameron Sino Technology... It has a capacity of 3500mAh and 3,7 V...
I just bought it 3 weeks before and charges only 3 times in very low usage. (a few phone calls, a few e-mail). And app. 7 days I can use it.
But it think, I can use it with my normal usage 3 or 4 days, not more...

I want to buy a Battery for my Atom Life (XDA Comet)with more capacity than the original one. Can anybody tell me if the batteries for Atom pure, Atom Exec or Atom can be used in Atom Life? Thanks to all.

One would think the batteries are of different dimensions.. if you want a higher capacity battery buy an extended battery. If you cant find one check this thread for a quick review on two extended batteries you could purchase

Thats very true. Dont go for the chinese ones.. go for the SONY CELL ones from japan or something.
I just bought one 1530mAH for my Atom, made in Taiwan. It's really very good, I already used for 18hrs, it only drop 25%, compare with my older one, can only last less than 1 day.
