Mobile Youtube with Bepe´s ROM - P3600 ROM Development

hi all,
I have bepe´s rom installed and when i try to connect to mobile youtube (wifi connection) the htc streaming player opens, tryies to connect to the server and after a short while i get an error message: time out. this happens to all videos on youtube. all other internet connections work fine.
Does anybody else have the same problem? or a solution for this problem (if the problem is not youtube it self)?
Cheers
Jarvis

I have the same problem but also had it on an other ROM....sorry...don't remember which of the 3 other.

On www.treocentral.com also has a thread about this problem...a lot of treo users can't view the videos. Could youtube be the problem?

watching Movie with i900

HI, I need help on this, I can't watch youtube with my i900, the site told me to install a flash player with i did and still did not manage to, i read in the site somewhat that mention I need to used the core player to do that, I download tmpmp core player and I and still can't watch it,
are you guys haveing the same problem or I set something wrong on my phone.
anybody able to help?
I have no pb with my i900 out of the box. I use wifi to connect the Internet. I use Opera to browse youtube. When I click a video, youtube website shows a message confirming I want to watch the video (there might be charges from the ISP/phone if you use GPRS). I click Yes and it launches automatically the Touch Player (Streaming Player) which came pre-installed. The video plays imediately (but quality is not that great on such smal device )
strange, mine keep hang there! but now I download a program call "10live" which much better, I can watch lastest movie streaming , only issue is the control panel and instruction is in chinese
this is the site to download it

just copy cab and place it in your storage and run it.

Iplayer now working!!!

Found that if you go on opera and go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer it works!!!
as quoted here.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/where_to_get_iplayer/
you dont need flash it uses the video player app on Touch HD, says it works for Xperia users too and Omnia!!!
have fun, ohh you can do the following
CATCHUP
WATC LIVE TV
LISTEN TO LIVE RADIO
I don't know about anybody else.... but I already knew this! I've been using Iplayer on my Touch HD since Christmas (when I got my Touch HD).
The problem, still, is that you need wifi... you can't use your Data Connection!
I'm still having trouble. From the other threads I think a few people still do.
I've tried several times. No luck. It opens in the video player but then just hangs on "connecting".
Now that the blackstone is supported there shouldnt be any need to change the user agent... but still?

Same thing happens with mine anyone out there got any ideas?
sorry i only just found this out have been watching ot through skyfire lol. i was impressed with both
My understanding is iPlayer works only on 3 and vodafone over their network at the moment. I've used it with 3 no problems.
^ True, but it should work over wifi no matter what network you use.
In my case and others, the Touch HD can't deal with Iplayer via wifi out the box.
Those of you having problems over wifi might find the problem is nothing to do with the BBC or the Touch, but your router/firewall. I have two wifi networks in my house - one is within my network behind the gateway/firewall PC and another is right at my broadband modem (in the DMZ).
Connecting directly through the broadband modem means I can watch the iPlayer no problem, but if I'm behind the gateway then the HD's streaming app can't connect. I haven't bothered to investigate which ports I need to open in the gateway to make it work within the network but I assume it must be possible.
Hope this helps suggest a pointer for investigation.
are you sure its the main site and not this one: www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer

it doesn't matter if you type in bbc.co.uk/iplayer, it redirects you automatically to the mobile version.
I get: "Please switch to Wifi to play this programme.".
I'm from the Netherlands and use the Vodafone network, how can i resolve this problem?
i am on T-mobile uk, and i also get pls switch to wifi, thing is.... if you was near wifi, your probably at home, use the pc to watch iplayer lol. Guess theres always the usefulness for the toilet lol
I have the same problem where it hangs on connecting,
i've seen a video of it running but the media player the guys using isn't
the standard pvplayer that comes with the touch hd out of the box.

everyone keeps saying this but it's not on mine. is it somewhere on my system? i've looked through every executable and it's like my touch hd
didn't come with the standard software.
That media player is not the default one that opens when I try to use Iplayer either. Mine has less and smaller icons. They're circles too. Not Square.
If the problem is with the router/firewall, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
The youtube player works perfectly over both wifi and 3g. I also have Gremote working fine... both of which require connections to the PC..?
Not working no more
I NEED HELP. i had bbc iplayer working for couple of months now. and suddenly when i want to watch something i get an error. i can go on the site, that loads up perfectley www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer yeah that loads up fine. but when i go down and click on drama or comedy, i get an error saying check server snd url. it worked b4 and its not working now. im obviously using it through wifi.

Sharing .mp3 or movie via home network

If you want to stream MP3/Video/Pictures/TV from a PC to Mobile then Orb is great. Works over the internet (and HSPDA if your network supports it) while automatically transcoding your files to an appropriate bitrate depending on your connection speed.

You have the same problem like anyone else with the Touch HD.
Most people just dont realize it. I started a topic about this, but got no help with that.

[Q] YouTube App "playlist" problem?

I did a search on youtube forums and seems like there is a widespread outage.
Problem: When trying to access my youtube "playlist" & "watch later"I get an error. It says, "there was a problem with the network [404].
Everything seems to be fine when I access them from the browser, it's the app. This problem is also using Google TV (Revue).
Anyone else have problems accessing their playlist using the app?

[Q] Playing Live Streaming in a Browser

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help...
I'm experiencing a strange problem in functionality with my HTC One X which worked without issues straight out the box on the SGS2.
I cannot watch live streaming on the device (football through live online footy). I've tried using the default Internet Browser which crashes upon pressing play. Opera Mobile also crashes. The only one that does work is Dolphin HD, however the stream on this one is intermittently jumpy. I also cannot click the icon in the bottom of the streaming video to make the stream full screen, whenever i try to click the icon, the browser thinks i'm trying to pause the stream and does so (possibly a flash issue not browser). Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks in advance,
Luke.
