i was wondering why htc or microsoft hasnt released anything on their website?
also, this is what i need if i have a cingular 8525 right?

On the HTC website in HK they have released http://www.asia.htc.com/asia/event/WM6/index.html I think Microsoft has it tucked away on there website somewhere and I am pretty sure that the ROM that you put the link up for would work. The one you've linked to is a final release build from AT&T. It was specifically made for your 8525, so no worries.

Any idea when T-Mobile will officially release the WM6 upgrade? I know they said Spring, and today is the first day of Spring. Anyone hear a date yet?

If you call support at 6-1-1 and ask for PDA support, you can provide your email and request a sms notification upon launch. Chances are though, if you hang out here, you'll get it just as soon, if not sooner, buy watching the postings

Thanks for the info guys, I am so tempted to take the jump with the betas on here. I'm just scared of bricking my Dash. Would you recommend diving into the beta build, or wait? Is it hard to install? I am comfortable with hacking the registry etc., just want to ask the experts here. Thanks in advance.

sorry totaly confused with all the links in the forum. Is there an offical rom upgrade to wm6 for the 8525. going to htc americas website there is a rom available update but is it actualy wm6 they dont say. Thanks in advance

I don't think that AT&T has released this officially as an upgrade yet. I don't think it's on the HTC site as an AT&T/Cingular upgrade.
But, there are reports of new 8525s being bought with WM6 already installed from AT&T. This is probably how the upgrade made its way here - someone dumped it out of a phone that was shipped with it already installed.

Hey there all just wondering about this rom, i know its been posted before but i think its worthy of talking about again, this is just wondering a Beta the copy out there isn't it ?, anyone know the direct link to getting it on our S620 S621's, and want to explain things about this rom, i thought i read though the 6.5 has been deleted off of here ?

First off the beta version of 6.5 rom that was on the forum was for a different device and yes they removed all links and download mirrors for it. Who else you would thing whould have it but us? Microsoft got wind that we had unofficial and unlicensed copies if it , and the moderators took it out.

This guy seem's to say he has a working copy on his phone, maybe i can get the rom off of him or see what he says how he got it working on his dash.

I keep reading that HTC will release a free Download for TP2 owners through there website. I emailed tech support and ask and they said yes but the date is unknown at this moment. Has anyone heard otherwise as of yet?

I heard it from the grapevine that it's going to be around October.
HTC Will Release a WM6.5 download for TP2 as stated above in October after there is at least one Carrier release in the u.s.
I know you guys probably answered this one million times but do anyone know when will the OFFICIAL T-Mobile Rom is going to be released?!?!...I have a tp2 and I don't want to try a Rom that isn't from T-mobile or HTC themselves because some of them be missing too many things or it's just not as good as the official one...with that said can someone help me out, Thx

if you only want to use roms by HTC then download the Official HTC 6.5 Roms..
when t-mobile get it all they going to do is put they branding on it and a theme with a splash screen and some t-mobile apps
but no one knows the time or date for the t-mo 6.5 release.. could be this month or before xmas or early 2010 who knows

I seen it on the forum but it was only for other countries , I didn't see anything for usa or even in english... Please help me out... and the intructions would also be a big help. I haven't upgraded since i had my wing with 6.1aserg so yea I will need some help upgrading my rom...thx
