can anyone help rotate the screen the other way i have changed the number on the code using the ''PHMRegedit'' app on toms B&B v4 rom but no joy, not even after a reset
where i done it was
my device > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > system > GDI > rotation
then in both LandscapeFixed and LandscapeMode changed the value data to 4 on both/1 at a time/all combinations and soft reset
no joy
am i doing someting wrong?? or is it not possible
i want the start button nearest to the green phone button
not next to the XDA lettering on phone
please help
It worked from me by just changing the value to 4 in LandscapeMode only. But I am using the offical O2 WM6 ROM.

Change Landscapefixed to 0. This enables the screen rotation direction option in Settings/System/Screen.

Hi,
since i restored a backup using active sync,
the LEDs of my BA won´t do anything.
I had this a long time ago and the only thing
which worked was a hardreset and reinstall
everything.
Does anybody has an idea to fix the LED problem
without doing a hardreset ?
it's registry settings may have been altered... the following would give you an idea on how to enable/disable them (only for the BA).

It's possible to disable the right and left LEDs in a HTC Blue Angel changing these registry keys using PHM Registry Editor:
Righ LED:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//Drivers//Builtin//NLEDMGR the value Index has to be changed from 1 to 0
Left LED:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//Drivers//Builtin//BWLEDMgr the value Index has to be changed from 2 to 0

This registry setting was at 1 instead of 2... now after a softreset
both LEDs are working again !!

I was wondering why the regs in a rom keep changing back to original settings
I use regedit to change things, but everytime i change the push mail to 1
after a couple hours it back at 0. so push mail is off again.
I thought that maybe theres a reg that keeps restoring the settings.
But with other settings it doesnt change back, like the wake up at sms.
Because i found a reg in HKEY/local_machine/RegPersisted and its set to 1
i dont know for sure if this has something to do with it, but i think that this whats keep turning back the reg settings.
I also found the same regkey in HKEY/current_user
Could someone explain this to me??before i turn it to 0 and mess things up

Are you by any chance using the keypad lock feature by long pressing the "end call" button? It seems to set some settings back to default. I'm not sure if this is the case, but you could try not using the keylock and see if the settings keep their user set value.

What's the problem? If you mess things up, just do a hard reset...

i changed the regkey for the persisted reg to 0 but no effect. after couple of hours when i check its back to 1.
same for the push mail,its back at 0.
How the f*#k can i keep the settings i make.
i find it so strange that that reghack for the sms wakeup event is good , but every otherthing i change keeps going back to standard

I've got some problems with editing the registry in my htc.
I'm using - CeRegEditor and PHM Regedit and I can't change, f.e
- waking up my device while getting a new sms:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL
DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <-- set to
"1" = no wake up
"0" = wake up after sms
or
-the navigation control lightening after getting a new sms:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Defau lt\Duration --> I've changed from default "5" into "1" and nothing - there is lightening all the time, untill I answer the message

Obviously after any change I do Soft Reset. And there are changes visible, but only in the registry (and it's still NOT working)
I've got standard rom from HTC - 1.93.
Maybe I have to change my rom? (but I do not want to, I'd rather set up mine)
my rhodium phone screen always blanks.
This happens under WM 6.1 (original version) or WM 6.5 new cooked versions
I have tried 4 different ROMs.
I have tried to tweak using HD TWeak utilitites. I have tried to disable any power savings settings. I have disable the settings which allowed the phone to blank the screen, during a phone conversation: no help!
The blanking happens when the phone is close to my ear: when I detach from my ear sometimes the screen comes back to alive, but sometimes (50% of times) it remains blank.
To regain control I either have to open the keyboard and close or, when this is not enough, to soft reset
What can i do?

I have experienced this problem under WWE Roms and under NON-WWE roms (for example 6.5 chinese ROM)
My device is now running this ROM:

I have even disabled Manila and unchecked all power saving features which I found under settings...I really start to believe that it is a hardware issue. Any opinion?

I have this running the Sprint stock ROM. The TP2 has a proximity sensor near the HTC symbol on the upper left side of the screen. When I move the phone from my ear or while in call I sometimes lose my phone screen all together and it goes back to the TF3D home screen so I have to hit the send key to bring the phone app back up.

I noticed this only after I started using the device lock since I added push email which requires me to. Some have stated that changing the timeout to 0 will correct this problem as well. My guess is that somewhere the device lock and proximity sensor are not playing well together and its a design flaw.
Just got my Tilt 2 two days ago. Last night I used the reg edits to disable eT9 and regain Auto Complete and Word Completion. Everything seem fine.
Today I find that I have no space-bar any longer, instead I have a ".com" and "/" where the spacebar was.
Needless to say a WS keyboard without a spacebar is USELESS!
Any help? How can I fix?

I then set it to suggest 5 words with AdvanceConfigTool 3.3.
BTW in using the stock AT&T ROM for now.
Going to do a "clear storage" and start from all over. Hopefully I can set it up to my liking and keep a proper functional SW keyboard.
OK started all over again after a Clear Storage and so far so good.
There are a couple of options I would like to change.
1. Not have a space added automatically ofter I choose an Auto Suggested word.
2. Have it Auto Suggest after just 2 letters.
As the options menu for this is not available on my Tilt 2 are their any other was to do this?
UPDATE:
was working until I enter my owner info and while inputting my phone number the keyboard switched to a number keypad and now it stuck there. I can't get the regular keyboard to pop back up.
