Title says it all...Landware made its .cab wm5 compatible only, I hacked it to install to any wm build. Hope some of you will find use for it, as you may know this is NOT pirated, you still need the same activation code as with WM5.
There's no WM6 APPS forum, so I figured this was the best place to post it.

The current version of Pocket Quicken (v2.5 Build 338a) installs and works well with WM6 without any tweaks. I have it on Cingular 8525 running CUSTEL WM VI Pro v2.5.

Do you use your Pocket Quicken CAB file in an environment using Quicken for Desktop pc and synchronization with Windows Mobile?
Searched Hi and Lo through search,, but can't find an actual One Note cab/Patch to the Office put on the Official wm6 Dopod Rom,, Any suggestions would be welcome. Would like to overlay a MS OFfice Cab that includes the One note, but not sure how it will integrate with current Rom. Thanks,, Stoker
Onenote installs when you launch Onenote on XP
Just so you know Onenote automaticly installs on ur device once connected and you launch Onenote on your desktop. So even if no roms include it, it doesnt really matter because to really appreceate Onenote you got to be running it on your desktop. If you really need it though here it is, but I recommend you wait for the desktop t install it so its properly embedded with the Office 2007

Where can I get the cab file for power point and word and excel for wm6. The rom I have does not have it and I like this rom and don't want to change so I need just the cab files to add it to this rom

I have only one program to develop and I don't want to buy a SDK like visual studio which is expensive !!

sdk is not the same as ide/compiler/toolchain. wm sdks are free while no version of vs usable with these sdk are free except evc4, which unfortunately can only use ppc2003 sdk or below.
there is a registry hack that allows you to install wm5 sdk on evc4 though. google is your friend. but then evc4 support c only - no managed code.
if you really want to try a full fledge env, don't even bother those express versions. download vs evaluation version inctead.

Yes, you need to edit the imgfs part of the rom. See my thread http://www.aximsite.com/boards/x50-x51-forums/223959-make-your-rom-your-way.html to edit the imgfs part of the rom.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried out the steps from the link but fails.
What I did was to delete the mobile office exe files and the shortcuts in the directory in the dump directory and follow the instructions accordingly.

you will need a skin/theme from a program called Wisbar Advance Desktop - you can get either Vista or Windows 7 looks with this software.
