axim stylus - General Accessories

hi,
looking all over the place and can't seem to find a stylus for my x51v. Anyone know of a place around toronto?

it's difficult to find it around Toronto? do you know any repair service center for pda, they may have what you need.

i visited serveral stores and nothing available........dell really stinks for parts. I don't have like dealing with online purchases either.

I put a query in to Ebay and found HUNDREDS
http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=axim+stylus+

yeah i know ebay has lots of them but like i said i don't want to deal with online purchases, looks like that may be my only way of getting one.
stupid dell.

I bought a stylus for my Navman from E-bay a adaptor for my XDA for the headphone socket from another seller and a Heavy duty battery for my XDA all from E-bay the adaptor came from Hong Kong as did the Battery the stylus came from a seller about ten miles up the road but the 50p postage it wasn't worth driving to get it do not be scared of Ebay and Paypal they are useful tools nowdays

yeap, there is no need to worry about online purchase, it's convenience and safe to make payment via paypal.

Price of BA with broken screen?

I have a Blue Angel about 1 and a half years old but the screen broke.
I want to sell it on ebay.
What can I ask for it?
It has 2 original (Qtek) batteries, desktop cradle, car holder, usb cable (for charging) and 3 new original (Qtek) stylus.
Lio,
The replacement screen costs currently around €250 in Holland and I didn't find much cheaper repairs. There are Qtek 9090 going on sale everywhere at €300 or more.
Check for yourself what you could be asking.
Let me know what you think.

To be honest, I dont have a clue to which price I should ask. Therefore I put it on ebay and the highest bideer gets it. The bidding starts at €20,00.

HTC Universal Parts (Screen) Needed

I pulled my Universal out of my pocket on Saturday and I have a crack down the screen on the left side.
Does anyone know a good store with Universal parts? I found a store that will repair it for me for US$250, but that is a bit too much. Assuming the screen is US$100 - US$150, I'll do it myself. I can still use it, but I really want to fix this because I love it very much.
If someone has a broken Universal that has a good LCD / Digitizer assembly, I'll buy it from you for US$100 or whatever you think is fair.
screen available on ebay
I've seen them on ebay, but they aren't cheap, the combo screen digitizer is around $200. If you want to do it yourself, there is the factory service manual on the ftp site, it's an illustrated step by step guide for disassembly and reassembly.
here is a link for the manual
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Universal/Manuals/confidential
I would say good luck, but the manual looks pretty good so you should't need it, just make sure you use an anti static pad and antistatic gloves or grounding strap.
I replaced the screen in an iPaq 3850 (pda-only) a few years ago, so I'm not really afraid of doing it... I just need to find the part in the first place! haha
Thanks for your input.
Just search for "lcd qtek 9000" on ebay and you'll find plenty of sellers of screens. I bought one myself for $180 a while ago. Worked like a charm.
From the XDA-Wiki Click on "Look up the HTC part number". then get the part number, or take apart your phone if you want to be sure. Search for the part number on google.com, froogle.google.com and ebay.
searching with froogle for TD028STEB1 I just found one on ebay. BuyItNow price of $60 with $19 shipping (plus a free screen guard). I expect that if you look a little more you may be able to get one slightly cheaper.
edit: opps I looked the one for Magician, Wizard, Apache, but you get the idea.
Looked for ACX526AKM-7 and found one store on ebay that sells it. Oddly enough the same product from the same store without that serial number in the name is between $4 and $14 cheaper (depending on bidding or buy it now).
The one without is $149.99 starting bid ($159.99) and the one with the serial in the name is $169.00 buy it now (seller "i like parts"). Comes with a tool and screenprotector.

VERY hard to find part

I'm looking for a working cradle for my Toshiba e800 pda. Several websites "claim" to have them, but when you actually go to order, they email back saying they're out of stock. Does anyone have one, know someone who has one, or know a website that REALLY has one? Under $50 would be nice.
I had one of these years ago. Te cradle has an LED light at the bottom that illuminates it in blue.
Anyway, from the age of the device mught be easier / cheaper to pickup a complete unit with cradle on eBay. Failing that, ring Toshiba?
regards,
M.S
Cradle
Called Trashiba yesterday, they don't sell pda accessories anymore from what they told me. I can only get one from one of their authorized distributors apparently, and one doesn't sell them and the other is out of stock. I can't afford a whole device as I can barely afford the $50 as it is. Gargh.

[Q] Replacement speakers??

Broke the digitizer, so I replaced it and when I did I also got a white housing. In that process I broke the speakers so only one works and the other one sounds like crap. Looked all over online and cant find any replacements. Anybody know where I can get some?
Check ebay, not just local but worldwide, theres a chance you may find some from a spares/repairs shop, especially from China.
Theres no guarantee but it's the only place I can think of.
Otherwise look for a seller on ebay who sells spare parts and simply ask him if he can a hold of some speakers for you from a damaged phone.
Hey thanks for the response. I looked on eBay but no dice. After searching and searching, I changed what I waS searching to "xperia play loud speaker" and found them. Problem is, one is on alibaba, which is a buy in bulk directly from the manufacturer where you have to submit a query and, well it just takes forever. And another that once I got to the cart it was all in Arabic.
In any case, I finally found them from a uk store for 8 euros a strip of 10. About to buy them so I'll report in case anyone ever needs them. They are super easy to replace, once you get the glued in factory ones ripped out.

That's great you found them. In some cases it's extremely difficult to find spares/repairs.
Best place is to look online or on ebay.
Otherwise if the worst comes to the worst you may have to send it to the manufacturer to repair.
Glad you managed to find what you wanted, quite cheap too costing you just 8 euros.
Their tiny anyway weighing a few grams and therefore shouldn't be expensive.

I give up. Wireless charging card...

Found this on Friday but didn't want to post anything until I could actually find a link to purchase one. Since I CAN'T find a link, here it is.
A Chinese company has made an easy to install wireless charging device for our S3's. Shenzhen Yijien Technology CO., LTD looks to be the creator, and it looks damn nice.

If anyone can find a link to purchase one, I'm sure the community would appreciate it.
There are several of these (similar) on eBay for around $35 shipped from Hong Kong in a GS3 back cover. They use the Palm Touchstone charger (around $7 on Amazon).
We already know about it, kms108 came with it.
He's gonna visit the company soon, and will test it
