C730 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 - HTC Cavalier

Here it is BBC 4.0 for Cavalier. I've download it from Dopod site, but had to upload it on Rapidshare as it is a large file (25mb).
http://rapidshare.com/files/87055708/BBC_4.0_C730_HK.zip
Mirrors are welcome.
Cheers

Had to bring this thread back up from the dead.
Here is my question, I know BB connect 4.0 can have issues with roms and carries... would this version work on an HTC branded cavalier, or is it strictly for the dopod version.
Thanks!

Windows Mobile 6 for HTC p3600

Ok, I'm probably going to get flamed for this but to the best of my ability I searched and this is what I've gathered up.
There is a cooked WM6 for the Trinity
As of right now, HTC will not be releaseing a WM6 update for the P3600.
Dopod will be officially releaseing a WM6 ROM in July for their D810.
If the HTC P3600 and Dopod D810 are the exact same phones, will us HTC P3600 users be able to update our phones to WM6 from the Dopod ROM?
*flame suit on*
yes, a HTC trinity is an HTC trinity no matter what different carriers call it or how it is rebranded.

wow.. did you even read what I wrote?
yes and I answered your last question. the questions before you already answered yourself.
Wether the Trinity is called P3600 by HTC or Dopod D810 or Vodafone whatever doesnt matter. If one of them releases a rom it can be hacked to it loads on any HTC Trinity. If you do not understand that simple statement then there aint much me or anyone else can say. Its not that hard really

Check this out
http://www.dopodasia.com/global/hke/news/20070503_Dopod_WM6_upgrade.html
I 've already read this, but i think it's not for Htc Europe.
I donno where I've read it but I remember that dopod will upgrade the 3600 to wm6
Edit sorry losai already mention it
It's an old news you've got "Marcdu81" (april) !! Maybe the petition will have an effect !!
This is old news man! HTC already stated that if demand was high they would change views. I will not even bother posting the threads, go search yourself. Think before you post!
Sorry guys, but i've Phone to Htc France and they confirm : No wm6 for Trinity : I ask him this question : Why ? I wait again the answer !
I think you can wait a long time for nothing...There is no reason except "marketing" !!

You don't need a ROM from HTC. You can load the Dopod ROM to your device when it is released. If you need a French ROM, I'm sure that someone here will make one from the original Dopod D810 WM6 ROM.
i have an official email from Dopod Australia saying that they will be releasing a WM6 gps version soon (in the next couple of months).

Not quite the same getting your ROM from a company that re-badges these devices. I for one am way too lazy to change everything (boot splash etc) in the upcoming Dopod release to make it exactly like HTC.
I think a boycott of HTC phones is way overdue. Eten anyone?

Whilst I sympathise with you - judging by recent reviews I think you should be careful what you wish for...
No longer a product
If you look on the HTC website. The Trinity P3600 is not even listed as a product anymore.....

it has been months. dopod aus never got the wm5 gps rom. i don't know why they are taking so long... probably because customer support doesn't make them money. even o2 was faster in releasing wm6 to atom life (and the support is crap, i've had 2 o2's)
by the time they release wm6 with gps rom, the d810, wm6 and even maybe gps will be obsolete, and we will all have a new device.

I know, but then... that's even more a reason to release it if one of your children companies is about to beat you to it.
Call me picky, but I want all the ROM version information/splash/logos etc all to be HTC.
HTC seems to have some automated response for my questions, even if you ask WHY the trinity ain't on the list of phones expecting an update, they send a link to the press release.
Growing a little tired of HTC lately, they're even removing the infrared port from their trinity-successor, Kaiser. What will I do with my $40 worth of TV remote software? Damn it!

I doubt if Kaiser will be released shortly - It has a Qualcomm chip in it, see http://www.boygeniusreport.com/gallery/handsets/htc-kaiser-unboxing/?pid=668#picture_nav
The US ITC has banned imports on phones with Qualcom chip with immediate effect. See http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/08/business/08phone-web.html
See below - not listed as product by HTC

I think it will be more fun if you try it yourself...
The best rom is the one that has the features you want/need. No one is able to determine that but you.
i just want to know what is best?
i just try TNT 2
Is fast
but there is more wm6 around
that are better?
the best would be the newest build thats in chinese
if only some could translate it it would be awesome!
hope some one can do it, it will be good for everyone
i like my htc 8525 using to connect my work servers remote
nice phone
so people some one to trans the chinese
I've been using Fun_keys rom based on 3.61
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=331623
Ive used schaps, vg3, and the at&t official and out of all of them I like the Fun_key's the best. Has all the features I want, excellent X close button application, and is very quick. Just my 2 cents.

Do you have the ROM? Are you 100% sure it even exists as the news over the black edition ended up to be WM6 as posters confirmed here.
all i can find on the t-mo site is wm6.
Edit: 69th post. I don't think that the board is giving me the "satisfaction" that I was expecting from this moment.

Yep, I also loged on tmobile's site and all the're offering as a software update as of today is wm6 . I also searched around and couldn't find any official statement that says tmo usa will use 6.1 on their smartphones. Who knows maybe they'll implement more android phones. I hope they don't deviate from windows mobile.
At&t sent out wm6.1 for my friends duo, I flashed it for her. Come on tmobile wm 6 is a thing of the past!
but unfortunately the Dash is too...with a new one coming soon and no word of any plans to release a 6.1 official I really doubt we will ever see one.
T-mobile 6.1 Codenamed "Sasquatch" I have seen it

Hi i work at a Telstra shop and have just received a shipment of HTC Diamond 2's which is running WinMo 6.5 and it appears the same version of Manilla as the Touch Pro 2. That is the man!
Thank you because you want to share with community.
I hope somebody will help you with porting.

Are you saying that the Touch diamond 2 is coming to telstra? I thought they were only getting the Touch Pro 2.
Can you confirm if the HTC Leo is also coming to Telstra? I would really like to know because I am a Telstra customer and would like to buy the phone.
Info like release date will be helpfull.
Thanks
This should be in the TD2 section, not TD.
Telstra
Yes the TD2 is coming to Telstra starting sale on October 6 i think it may be at T(life) stores first. I know this forum is for the Diamond but since the diamond has such bad performance i thought this might be helpful to some of the cooks that hang around here, if its not of use by all means remove the thread.

yea ... but is for touch diamond 2 not touch diamond u post wrong way le bro ..
I have the Telstra version of TOUCH PRO 2 running WM6.1 and love it. Can't wait to try out the WM6.5 and hopefully the new TouchFLO. I like the Twitter tab.
HTC Leo
to answer your question i just saw the HTC Leo codes in our list of phones to sell, while this doesn't mean for sure we will have it it makes it pretty likely obviously no word yet on plans or pricing but expect it to be mobile repayment option only (at least at the start) and priced at $1499.
Regards Waffles
I e-mailed HTC recently. Their reply:
"6.5 will be available around october time for the devices below:
HTC touch pro 2
HTC touch diamond 2.
if the device is branded please contact the network for further updates.
We have no information on what other devices will be updated as of yet. "
There is hope for us Diamond users then!

oh good.
i am looking for someone who can help me out in actually tainting my own Topaz:
i got mine as a prize from Microsoft at their retailer demonstration of windows 7.
my issue is that in Australia- there is Telstra ROM, then there is manila ROM. i have the Manila, and my Mobile Foxtel doesn't work.
i also can't wait for HTC to officially release a winmo 6.5 upgrade for my phone- and since i am a Telstra dealer, i need an excuse to play with my phone at work- best way for me to do that is to install the telstra ROM, but i can't find anyone with the Telstra ROM at all.
most importantly- i need my mobile foxtel.
i am having withdrawls from almost ad- free tv on my way to work
i need a stock ROM wwe 6.5 topaz for my TD2.........anywhere to find that??
