If someone can really help me out i will be very appriciative. My USB port is stuffed on my jasjar and i need to re-flash. Can somebody please upload a dumped rom please so i can upgrade using SD card. I dont care what version. Thanks!!

Thanks, that would be great! It is a G3 device with bootloader v1.01. I am happy with any rom. A good WM6 rom would be nice but am happy to settle for anything newish. Thanks a lot!

As soon as I know what's the command of psdread.exe for Universal?

In the meantime I have uploaded the SD-image (512Mb Sorry) copied with WinHex.
Just download,extract with 7zip,install WinHex and restore this copy to another 512MB SD then put it into your Uni.
I think it should work.

yeah I restored it to a 512 mb SanDisk Card...
Cud you upload G4 rom dump if u can? I'm stuck on splash screen and usb port is non-repairable.

unapproachable2kx, restored the image on a 512 sd. I get a "section = 2 not alllow" when trying to restore from SD. Any idea?

bump i really want some support for the mc35 too. i just bought one .but it is broken. when i get it in the mail i will see what "broken means". what are your thoughts on the mc35?
hmm i got mine in the mail and the gsm radio wont turn on. i think that i need a rom anyway does anybody have a rom for it?

What could be the steps to unlock the phone so that it can accept the new rom that I have downloaded from Motorola. I am looking for the generic procedure so that I can test it on my MC35 WM5. If someone has done it sucessfully, please provide detailed procedure.

Do you have a wm6 rom?
you need to put the nb0 file in the root of an empty sd card plug in your mc35 then hard reset your phone. your new rom will flash.
I do have the WM6.0 ROM from MOTOROLA but it needs a serial in order to install. Hence the keyword "unlock".

about 1 week ago, i accidentally try to flash to WM 6.5 (Spiaatie version) without notice my model not supporting that version. And i did not backup my original rom. When i try to hard reset, my screen goes blank, white screen.
I already try to search at HP website but not find anything. I try to contact HP Support, but they said no support for illegal ROM flash...
can anyone help me to resolve my problem? is anyone have backup for WM 5 ROM @ ROM dump. please share with me... please...

If I remember right - this is an old PDAVIET rom and this will not work on c series iPAQs.
Do not upgrade ipaq 2790c!
No good for 2790c, and I do advise that no one should attempt any ROM upgrades for that particular model. I am currently suffering the consequences of such upgrade. Still searching for anyone with original ROM to resurrect my baby!

without the original rom, you are stuck in the mud.. (so to speak)
you might of heard of gold card, but all that is - is the correct original/ship rom put on an Sd card and flashed from Sd.. (we cant find original/ship rom so no point in gold card)
your best option i would say, is to create a new thread asking if anyone has:
"1.13.111.1 ROM DUMP.."
(finding the rom dump you need is your best and only option.. a rom dump might not even exist, but someone might have it, or be willing to dump their rom for you..)
it might be worth Trying the german 1.13 tmobile rom found on the wiki link.. (i doubt it will work but no harm in just giving it a try eh..)

Problem: internal sd card memory 1gb only, unable to install large apps higher than 1gb like amazing spiderman.
Is there an easiest solition for this problem?
how can I expamd my internal memory? Or make extsdcard default installation of apps.

Please don't make new thread for a simple question. That question is answered so many times in so many threads, but here is the answer. You need modified vold.fstab and you need to be root.
