Hi,after a long time of trying to get one Mda Pro i finally did it!
I've tried to search through the wiki and the post for the universals and there are some thigs that i didn't understand.... hope that someone will answer...
- I have an MDA PRO sim-unlocked but i don't know if the cid is unlocked. Is there a way to see it???
- Do i need to unlock it or what?
- I need the pda for normal tel usage. no video calls and i need wi fi! Do you have same advice of same good english lang. WM5 or WM6 rom?

Thanks for reading my post - hopefully you can help me ;-)
I'm trying to upgrade my MDA III which was bought in Poland, from the ERA GSM operator.
I read the wiki site, but couldn't figure out which rom would work for me and which files to install and to be honest - I only got more confused ;-), but aware that so many things might go wrong ;-)
Anyway, my DeviceData shows this:
PH20B ENG G T-MOB009 1.06.00 0 0 1.06.135 1.00.00 00.00
looks terribly old, doesnt it?
I would also like to have the newest Windows build added.
Anyone knows where to start?

I living in warsaw, and i have a mda III from era gsm, and i haved upgraded the radio and bluetooth, but no the rom, and I want to now if you did the upgrade, ican you can help me?? i need to now wich one soft is good make upgrade for mi mda III from era, and what will I do for the up grade??¿is it very dificult??

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about XDA unlocking. I tried out the different methods but nothing happend. I got into bootloader mode and tried to read out the code at the command line but the process stopped and wrote something like "Error at 0x303ff". Then I tried the new xda2unlock programm which I only have to upload onto the MDA. But it also failed. I don't know what I did wrong or isn't it possible to unlock my MDA? I hope I can find some help here on xda-developers and I can use my MDA also with other SIM cards. Thanks a lot for every comment,

afaik there are obnly unlock tools available here for Wallaby (xda i / MDA i) & Himalaya (XDA 2 / MDA ii) devices.
For a Magician to unlock (MDA Compact = iMate JAM = Magician) you will have to buy a code from your service provicer or check www.imei-check.co.uk (not exactly sure on that adress but its in some thread here)
BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU RUN NON-MAGICIAN SOFTWARE ON YOUR MAGICIAN, YOU COULD WRECK YOUR DEVICE
MDA Compact does not open HELP!!
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about MDA. I bought my T Mobile MDA Compact 2 weeks ago from Germany. Yesterday while I was trying to change its language to English its locked. I installed Windows 2003 SE then device restarted but not open anymore. Now I can not open it. What should I do? I need immediate assistant, can anybody help me to make my MDA Compact working again?

It worked with my T-Mobile MDA Vario bought in Germany.

Just read the sticky posts and you should know what to do.
CID Unlocking / USPL and further tips from Meschle are not that hard to find....
After successfully running USPL you can flash any rom (for Artemis) you want....
being new is no excuse for being lazy...

i did the cid unlock but can you give me a link where to download the english version of windows mobile. because after i did the cid unlock i did install the new version of windows mobile but in norwegian.
did you check the data form my artemis are they correct so i can upgrade to english version?

If your SPL is 1.11 your device should be cid unlocked and ready for flashing.
(this should be after running USPL)
There are lots of english versions....check the wiki pages...
The newest one's are bepe's wm6, B&B 4.3 and Meschle's Touch 3 and O2 Premium 2
my spl i 3.13 and this is after i did the cid unlock and installed wm6 but in norwegian can i install it in english with this spl??

USPL need to be 1.11.0000 before you can flash to an other ROM

i first did the cic unlock and i got the spl 1.11.0000 than i flashed with the artemi touch 3.01 and it works fine man.thanks a lot.
if you could send me some link with some applications for example tomtom navigator and any extra applications.

i want a newer one...
i´m searching for WM6 or higher
i don´t know what kind of G1, G3, G4 or what ever it is...
