This is a theme I created from a couple of themes posted on the SBSH forums, started by the Windows Mobile 7 screenshots.
I have attached the MadBeetle clock plugin as well as Smartmonitor which are both required to display this theme properly. You will need to register MadBeetle, Smartmonitor is free. The theme is attached as a .cab file for easy installation. Thanks
For those needing the blue SmartToolkit theme, it's included in the theme cab. The cab will create the WM7 folder under Program Files/SmartToolkit/skins and dump the required files into that directory. All you have to do after that is go to Appearance, in SmartToolKit and change the theme.

ok i installed the wm7 theme cab. then i moved the extracted folder of smartmonitor and mbclockplug_sp4 to \Program files\smarttoolkit\skins\*.* directory and i dont see the clock or the other information.
secondly, my icons are small and misaligned (placed right underneath the blue box) and i dont have my calendar!!!

Some of these people drive me. Especially with Madbeetle people because he has been more than helpful with any questions you have. he even offered to install the plug ins in an existing home screen for me. I can see maybe like Microsoft or companies like that. But for Gods sake pay the little guy!!

It is only a clock, but I do not have the skill to develop my own clock, so I am happy to pay a small donation to the person who does have the skill.

I must say every one on this foroum who contributes towards the new roms are just amazing. I personally use the BLACK rom and absolutly love it.
Why doesn't some one make a iphone looking stable rom with everything out there? just a suggestion i don't know much about all this so cant but i know id love to use it since we got to wait so long for the iphone

Get a today launch application & some heavily copyright protected iPhone icons...and you're set...just don't let Apple's legal eagles get you! They don't like people 'borrowing' their icons...I think they sent out lots of letters...probably a reason not to put them in ROMs? Then again, if you don't use their icons, you're not doing anything wrong.
I read about that somewhere... we should change the icons just a bit.... it would be fun to see the looks on their faces. Im not a lawyer but i think if u change the background of an icon from white to an off white u can get away....

I've been using it for the last day or 2 and it seems OK. I am flicking the rolodex right now with Messaging, ActiveSync, Pocket Mechanic and Call Block running. It's probably labouring but I can still flick away like Steve Jobs.

Apples web site had all of their iPhone icons available for download ... yeah free ... you're just not allowed to use them ... very strange, and if it makes the news, its free advertising.
I'm good at making ROM's, but, I'm not so good at making graphics. ToddJG has made some cool graphics for me, but, I want 'more'!
So, here's the thing.. I'd like a professional looking splash screen, incorporating the HTC logo, something to do with 'Elf's' (Tolkien references are ok too), and a general black background.
The "winner" will have their splash screen included in the ROM itself!
This will be for Elf v2.5.
Also, a replacement for the Windows Mobile startup image is also in the cards to be replaced.. That has to work in both Landscape and Portrait.

Hello guys I'm the creator of the Palm Pre theme and mod @ leakdroid.com we were contacted by Palm, Inc. They demand that we immediately remove the application and any advertisements regarding the application from any website on which they appear. This includes wallpapers/ringtones/icons/screenshots.

you want to create something revolutionary that everybody will want to use, yet you don't know what it is and you are asking for ideas :/
if you truly want to do something for WM community, don't waste your time on yet another home screen or shell replacement. We have plenty of those already.
Create a framework so that other developers could code apps around. Make that framework flexible, look good, light and fast. Maybe even extend .NETCF35 with a new UI widgets.

I just thought it would be nice to have something i wanna use. I avoid my tp2 if i can. I upgraded from the original so i can say they both suck. I worked very hard to get them phones and wm just keeps letting me down and down again. all i want is a flippin nice music player. That's it, i can't even find that so yeah I'm gonna make my own. To be fair a proportion of noobs seem to have come from the Iphone, where their world is protected and everything is safe, to windows mobile which is an entirely different proposition. Unless you realise up front that you have to put in some work to tune your device then I guess we will continue to get these "registry" questions.
I also guess that's where some (not me) might claim that winmobile devices are not quite as noob/mr & mrs average friendly as other devices.
Anyway glad you got that load off your chest.

PS: The way I see it the more we help these iphone (and others) converts and the more they get good use out of their devices, the more they will spread the word that winmobile is where its at and is a good place to be. Ooh I feel all evangelical and spiritual now..
