Best replacement battery - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Accessories

Can anyone suggest one? I know there are a few on eBay, but I know they are all/some of questionable quality.
Anyone buy one that works?

A friend use such a cheap battery, and it works since a half year! Accident? Luck?
But I wouldn't use a low cost battery. I have experience with camera and laptop akkus and they were always bad!
If i require a new battery at this time, I would prefer a second hand battery or an unlabeled.

2430 mAH battery?!

I saw this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HTC-WILDFIRE-...neBatteries&hash=item19c20e4292#ht_2661wt_905
want to know if it's any good.
Also... this anygood? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1500mAh-HIGH-...ltDomain_3&hash=item3f05313e8a#ht_2200wt_1139
Basically, these are just a numbers on batteries like that (cheap, chinese..)
No quality at all, i wouldn't recommend buying this.
Agreed. They dont look genuine at all and may potentially harm your wildfire.
I ordered one. I will tell you how it works after i will test it.
Cool. I was about to order one to test.
Can't wait for the little review

anyone find out if these things are any good?
$10 seems really cheap for a battery.
For a comparison, do you know if you can buy a new battery from HTC and how much they cost ?

Looks like that's what you're after?
hi I bought from ecell and it is good (3-4 days) original less then 2 days.
so no problems at all then?
edit: ecell dont sell the 2430mah batteries
WOW seems to be working.3-4 days instead of 1-2.Good but it could possibly harm our phone.
Usually the reason why certain items are cheap (especially on ebay) is because of its poor quality.
BUT, on the other hand, you cant always judge by comparing prices with big companies such as htc as once its in their possession its usually been through a few hands and they have to make up the extra costs aswell.
Therefore its usually cheaper because its coming direct from the manufacturer, or from a supplier directly linked to the manufacturer in the same country. And of course certain taxes can be avoided by marking the products as 'gifts' when shipping...
i've had my eye on a 3700mah (i think) battery and cover to accommodate the slightly bigger size, as im quite a heavy user and the current battery is lucky to last half a day. the size is a bit of a put off though so i might just get the next one down from that, instead.
Yeaa you're right. We usually pay for the name of the product.Sometimes no-names are on the same quality as those who sells big companies as HTC etc.
im still not too sure on this. But 2430mah in a thin battery?! Doesnt sound legit.
Anyone got the 2430mAH Battery and have some results for us ?
I received it yesterday. I charged it this morning and already it indicates 50% off. I will return it and ask for a refound.
Try clear battery stats first. Then reload. Phone Cant know the right capacity else

Cheap 1950mAh battery?

Hi,
I came over this one: http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390301426669&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:NL:1123
If it's true then there's a cheap way to get 33% more battery power. The guys feedback seems good, does anyone know if it's possible for batteries that cheap to actually give such power?
I did order one to test but it can be a few weeks before it arrives. Can anyone tell me a good way to test batteries in the meantime?
I bought these http://www.spider-foot.com/2x-bst41...ericsson-xperia-play-zeus-bst412be-p-897.html which are also on ebay but i found that the seller has also his own site and they work surprisingly well, almost good as the original. I also got the battery charger which is incredible and I always have my play on and 2 extra full batteries in my pocket
I consider trying one of those in your link for more power but I doubt it that its 1950mah...
I needed a spare battery anyway for the weekends I'm gone (taking a battery with you is easier than a charger), so it's a small risk to make. I bet it won't take long before the big batteries with extended back covers start to up for less then they're costing now (99 dollars).
In my opinion its not a risk, the seller has almost 10000 positive feedbacks and the cost that you pay is 3€ for the battery and 4€ for shipping. Even if its not 1950mah you won't regret it. I also consider to buy one...
The fact that it won't be 1950 mAh (or close to it) is the risk I'm talking about and definitly worth the shot.
It seems the battery test in the service menu isn't working for me, it wants to charge even if it's already 100%, anyone else got it working?

Better battery

Can anybody give me any advice on where to get a better battery for my phone. I tried mugen but paypal cant process my card. And the one on amazon is getting bad reviews. What can you ask from a ten dollar battery. Any help will be great thanks.

Google search using the shopping tab. You can find some batteries easily.
What kind of battery do you need, for what phone?
Have you tried limiting the 'useless' apps that consume a lot of energy? Or an app that limits connectivity when your dont use your phone (display is off)
Amazone should help

Look for 1800mAh batteries. They seem to be the 'limit' of batteries that still have the same physical dimensions as the original battery. Anything above that and the batteries get bigger. But take note to not buy no-name brands, because quality of the battery counts as well. Just like when you buy PSUs for a computer, you NEVER cheap out or risk damaging your whole system. So if you want a new battery, buy quality I wouldn't risk spending $10 on a battery from a non-reliable source.
other than mugen try sino or yoobao batteries there pretty darn good.
For decent battery life, I would like to trust original products from top brands. Why not try to find one on your manufacturer's site?
i think that depend for the ROM installed, i have inspire 4g and with some ROM spend more than other one, now i am using coredroid 8.1 y save a lot battery, , an the 6.1 spend more.
most battery are the same...
For a better battery life.. you may can shop from amazon.
What kind of battery do u need? But I think you can hardly find a better battery with 10$

[Q] Good Standard Size Battery Replacement

My battery level fluctuates really bad and my phone isn't lasting worth squat, i figure maybe its time to try a new battery !!
I see a lot of extended battery reviews here but i need something that will fit the original case/battery cover. I don't mind paying a little more if it actually will provide me with additional juice/time, any general consensus ?
Anyone try these Anker OEM replacements ?

I recommend stock oem in this case

I had an anker battery for my sensation when I had that for a while. I never had any problems with it. It was slightly larger than stock (not true in this case) and seemed to be rated accurately in terms of capacity.
Ill give it a try and let you guys know...For $10 with prime shipping why not...
Any procedures for calibration or first time charging needed ?

As far as I know, no, however I just always let it run down and then charged it all the way the first time I used it.
After using the Anker battery for a few days i can say its seems to be a good stock replacement.
Battery life is better than what i had before and the price, fitment is right
Pete
I have bought some anker batteries, they work about on par with OEM, if not a bit better.
Replacement I have is Sprint branded (BSMD71018L(BTREFD710)) and it seems to be on par for rated capacity. Better yet I just got very lucky. Washed the battery and the cell and the charge controller are fine. Battery both works in the phone and charges. Most batteries might be sealed well but those contacts can still turn it into an ugly mess.

Poor battery life ≈ Old battery

As our phones age, our batteries begin to degrade. This is why I only use phones with removable batteries.
Question: Does anyone know what brand or where to buy a "real" battery? Most I find are cheap and don't last long, or keep a charge like the original did. I'm willing to pay more, but I don't want to pay more for the same cheap knock off.
Oh and I don't want an extended... I like the slimness. I just want a decent battery. Anyone else have good luck with any particular band?
