Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the sync software from the original cd ??? And anything else that might be on the cd. I cant seem to find the S630 anywhere on HTC's website.

when i went to that rom my messenger refused to exe
i can click all i want but i get nothing
i can even click on the exe file itself in the windows dir
and still i get no response

I had something similar happen. I went to the MS web site and downloaded the update for MS mobile, installed it again and got it working!
Not sure what causes it but it is a pain!
I've tried the search facility but without much luck. I want to be able to download games to my orbit but the first 1 I tried, (a simple .exe file), gave nothing more than an error message. I believe this is because of the application lock in WM5??
Is there anyone who can help solve this for the artemis ??????

Perhaps you have to start the exe at your PC?! Then the PC will put the PocketPC-Software via activesync to your PDA

I did some looking around and haven't found a solution to this problem so I figured I'd go ahead and ask.
My wife has the Dash. I was trying to download some new themes for her phone directly from this site the same way I do for mine on my Wing. For some reason her phone won't allow me to download anything. I'm doing this via our Wifi connection at home, so I'm sure that's not the problem. I also downloaded the same file on my Wing to confirm it and of course the Wing had no problem.
Is there some kind of Smartphone vs. PPC thing that I don't know about when downloading files from the net?
I have the same problem using HTC Vox (original rom). I tried to download any file but PIE or Opera gave me an error that I cannot download these files. It does not matter which kind of file it is.

Reason #213 why my wife wants to get rid of her Dash.
i recently upgraded to wm6.1 on my tilt. all the software downloaded and install fine except for hhc customizer. when i try to extract the file i get an error about the archive. from everything ive found this means the file is corrupt. is there anyway to get a clean verion of this? could someone maybe email a copy of the file? i try to go to the pocket emu site and download but the page will not open. today the site is down altogether. i had this program with 6.0 and loved it. would really likesome insight on how to do this. a clean non corrupt file emailed to me would be great provided you can install from an emailed file like that. my yahoo is [email protected]

I've found something interesting in the samsung Omnia 7 firmware update CAB file. I opened QC_8x50_OS_TEST.cab.pkg inside the cab and looked at the files, there were these:
SwitchUsbToMassStorage.lnk: 23#usbmgr.exe /M
SwitchUsbToQcComposite.lnk: 23#usbmgr.exe /C
SwitchUsbToSerialClass.lnk: 23#usbmgr.exe /S
SwitchUsbToZune: 23#usbmgr.exe /Z
I find those interesting, now if someone finds a way to run that usbmgr.exe file...

tried this back on 7004 days, didn't worked. the usb mode indeed changed, but still no mass storage functionality.
Maybe it s a Silverlight UIX binary with native code (FULL UNLOCK) if sb take a look on it , so if it s an exe for wp7 you can try to execute it but i dont know it too but thois will help (i hope ask cotulla how he started his native demo) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255829
