Hi all,
It seems that i'm loosing abilties of the touchscreen keyboard ( loosing ABC mode )
I hope that some one can post the original files.
Cause I dont know what to do else
I havent changed anything about my keyboard...
Hope you guys can help me out

I too have this problem, or at least something similar.
I flashed to Davideuk's V2 Topaz rom. After installing I found the new keyboard worked in both keypad and qwerty with t9 support However today I discovered that t9 no longer works and the keypad only types numbers, even with the letters showing and regardless of t9 or ABC selected. This evening I'll probably re-flash the rom and go through my settings and apps, checking 1 at a time to see what breaks it... unless someone knows of a fix already?

No need to flash new ROM. If you have HD Tweak installed scroll down to T9 Mode and disable it. Your keyboard should be totally operational again!

Strange that it effects eachother.
Altho now I cant switch to T9 mode ....?

Funnily enough I already tried that, but I must have forgotten to soft reset because after trying again (thanks to your advice) and resetting it worked. And my t9 works too Many thanks!
For those who want "Compact Qwerty" keyboard:
1. visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281
2. Download and Install "BJK_HTC_EzInput_VGA_NoKbd_0409-RC2.cab"
3. Download and Install "BJK_HTC_EzInput_VGA_LPack_EN-RC1.cab" for English Auto-Correct (or Download your prefered language and install)
3. Reset device
NOTES: if you're having double "pop-up" when selecting keyboard. Edit the following registry:
HKLM/Software/HTC/ezsip
Set "EnableSipMenu" to 0

Thanks guys. This looks good. Haven't installed it yet but the missing compact qwerty was my major gripe with the new custom Roms.
My fat fumbs can finally start typing again and I can give my nails a bit of a trim!

The only problem I now have is the wrong size of the full keyboard in landscape (check the screenshot)! I guess we'll have to wait until a WVGA version is released for this to be fixed!

Hi All - flashed to the CHristian WM6.5 clean image and running great. I cannot stand the built in dialer in this image (same as out of box X1 dialer). Does anybody have a good dialer for 6.5 that will work properly on this phone? I tried a couple I found online but they wouldn't install or didn't come up properly. Thanks in advance!

Hi there - i tried the above but it came up in a grey skin and wouldn't integrate with my outlook contacts.. reset and everything. Maybe it wasn't compatible with the 6.5 build I have?
Had to do a hard reset to get rid of the dialer.. strange it wouldn't reinstall. Any other dialer add ons? The dialer in the Valkyrie rom was nice but that ROM isn't very stable for me.
I have searched extensively for a working phonepad/keypad for use within a cooked ROM, I currently have Donsolari's Sense 2.5 ROM installed (which is great), but im missing the use of a phonepad/keypad for SMS input.
Does anyone have a working keypad/phonepad that can be installed on a cooked ROM?
I have seen the EZinput 2.1, I have installed the CAB, but I cant seem to get a keypad working, I just have the touch qwerty keyboard as the only input option

used sip menu for you to choose the phone keypad...because in win 6.5 has compatibility problem on sip..so use this sip menu..just use the sip menu cab in this thread..

Is that intended to be installed on top of the EZInput 2.1 or on top of the standard keyboard within the ROM?
Managed to get the keypad working, 2 minor glitches.
Normally you can press and hold for the number above the button, but that doesnt seem to work in this case.
I also get the 'The file 'EZinputsettings' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found' when attempting to access the settings within locale & text.
I have encountered this with a few components of the cooked ROMs, is there a fix to get rid of the error message?

My friends, kindly clarify me the below rather stupid doubts
1. What is the Windows 6.5.x ROM, can it be used on my Diamond. If so, which one is the latest and lite ROM suitable
2. On my dialer while in a call, I get a slide screen, which is very uncomfortable to switch on speakerphone while driving. I tried inserting the Registry key EnabelSlider with Dword 0 in the HTC Phone and Extended settings part, but no use. Pls help me to remove the Slider curtain. The dialer is used so that I can call from All people list.
