Radio 1.47.30.10 for Hermes

Is it possible to update the radio of Hermes with the 1.46 radio from D810 wm6.0? I am going to extract the 1.46 radio from D810 wm6.0 and try it on hermes, did anybody try this? Pls post your experience and advice here, thanks.

i already successfully updated my CHT9000 with the 1.46 radio from D810 WM6.0, so far it is ok.

thats because GPS doesnt work on the Hermes...

This isnt even the correct section for it, go post in the correct forum thread, in the link provided by Washieau.
Is it that frickin difficult to understand?
And notice the .10 NOT .11 at the end, should have been your firstc clue it had nothing to do with GPS.

HELP NEEDED: Have IPL-1.01, SPL-1.01. Want to update to WM6 official.

I just bought a Cingular 8525 and would like to update it with the "official" Cingular dump. I posted a problem on another thread and was told that I had a debug device. My bootloader info are as follows:
HERM100
IPL-1.01
HERM100 MFG
SPL-1.01
The only way for me to upgrade is if I use HardSPLv7 but im also reading that you cannot update to official roms if you have HardSPL. What should I do?

There is no repackaged version of the official Cingular Rom and that's what I want to flash. I hope you understand the problem.

Original ROM and SPL

I am so sorry to post this stupid question as I know it has been answered somewhere but I just can't find the answer even though I've been searching for hours now.
The problem is I want to rollback to original ROM and SPL for warranty reasons but I can't remember what it was original, so how do I figure this out? If it helps my phone was one of the grey diamonds from expansys bought around june 6.

u can use any version of original ROM and SPL, it does not matter for warranty reasons!

That's why is really important to put the info about your device in your signature, to note the info about your device before flashing it.

Thanks... After a hard nights thinking I am almost a hundred 100% sure that my stock ROM was 1.34. Then my stock SPL must be 1.34.nbh right?

Had you try to register your device with his S/N, on the "e-Club HTC" and look at a ROM update available, probably newer than the original one ?
Just because you could keep your warranty with it.

But I am pretty sure it was 1.34.xxx.x and that must mean that the ones I should use are: stock ROM 1.34 WWE and the stock SPL 1.34.nbh right?

I am so confused with so many hard spl's I dont know which one to use... and they dont even match the rom #

Good question, I have no idea.
I'm uisng olinex's unsigned SPL, which lets me Flash my Diamond with any unsigned and/or signed ROM.

I am using 1.40 which is not listed in the poll.

I think most people use 1.40.OliNex, and quite some use 1.30.OliNex, so add them to the poll

1.40 here as well.

don't be joking. 1.40.OliNex should not be dismissed as "other" as it is the most common hardspl version.

The OliNex is greater than the sum of the parts

So its clear, almost everyone uses the Olinex 1.40.
Shame on the guy who made this poll, forgetting the most important one

lol, you haven't fully read that post then... 1.37 in the update notes. the main post talks about 1.40.OliNex, read it all.

well it doesnt actually say 1.40.... but I now noticed that when I enter the bootloader on my diamond it says it...

I want to send my hermes back to o2 because the IE-Hardwarekey doesn't work anymore. My bootloader-config:

spl-2.10.olipro
What should i do? Leave my hermes as it is oder remove the olipro or what?

You need to remove HardSPL or they wont fix it without charge

Make sure you stick a stock WM6 on there as well

i flashed it (spl 1.04; like it is written in the guide) but no success. Olipros hardspl is still there after flashing

If it didnt work, somethings wrong.
Try that one, making sure you forced UNSAFE SSPL.
