Need audiopara file for newer roms, please! - Touch CDMA Windows Mobile ROM Development

I have radio 3.37 and nexvision's Hulk rom. Before I changed roms I was able to change out my audiopara file and make the earcupple louder but now every one that I try doesn't seem to make it loud enough. I even tried nueaudio and have it as loud as it goes. Does anyone know the proper column to adjust in the audiopara file? or does someone have an audiopara file ready to go for these newer roms?

Anyone know how to tweak the audiopara file for the newer roms?

found it!
Finally found what I was looking for. Here is the exact message I posted over at PPCGEEKS.
Hi,
I tried several different audiopara files around this and other websites but for one reason or another they did not work for me. For example, Deegimus helped us out tremendously but his was not loud enough for me. Scrufdog's was loud enough but then my ringer wouldn't work any more.
So, anyhooooo, I went in and basically combined the two so my ringer still works and my earcupple is plenty loud now.
BTW, I'm running radio 3.37.15 and rom 3.02 Nexvision's Hulk.
Here's the file-good luck. Usual disclaimer-if this messes up your phone don't blame me. Use at own risk.
There are plenty of threads that talk about how to install this file. I recommend doing a search for "audiopara"

Sound of camera videos to low

hey,
i have searched a long time but have not found anything about my problem. i tried to use my camera for making videos. the sound of that videos is very low, "to low". I don´t know how to get it louder. i think its not a hardware problem because the sound of notes is very loud.
thanks for every reply
Jimmie
Try Start->Settings->System->Microphone AGC->Enable
Havent tried it, but give it a go
i did so before. but nothing changed
upgrade ur device to the latest 1.40 rom...that should solve it...i had the same prob and now its even too loud
If you notice, he's using a German rom. There are no 1.40 German roms out yet, so that may prove difficult.
that´s bad,
but there must be a solution for this problem. i hope to find or get it next time.
thanks for your replys
and please go on
I don't have the smalest idea if this will help or screw up your camera app. even more, but you could try to run one of the camera cab's that's in the 1.40 extended Rom
BA_Camera_Driver_Patch.sa.CAB
Or look for others here
Do a backup before you try.
the forum is so large. i can´t find the right thread.
how to make a backup and install the new .cab file?
is it possible to remove this to get back to the old one if the new one will not function?
http://www.spritesoftware.com/en/personal/products/windows_mobile/pocket_pc.htm
This will make a backup of your current settings.
BackUp
Install Cab look at 6.
If it dont work, just restore from your backup
Sound could be solved by this little small app
hey
what´s the function of this app and how do i install/ remove it?
thanks for your help
ramram
thanks a lot. this app is fantastic. with this app it ´s possible to change the volume of mic and also change treble and bass boost of the headphone
thanks
Yes, thanks for the app!!

Incoming call Volume

Hi guys..
I did do a search for this on the forum, with no result.
Since the flash of WM6 to my HTC TyTn, there was a big drop in received call volume.. Even when i increase the volume to max its sometimes hard to hear what the other person is saying, and compaired to a wm5 rom its a little softer.. Is there a registry tweak to maybe increase received call volume?
This is mainly coz in some noise filled areas i use to be able to hear the other person, but since wm6, not so much anymore..
Thanx guys..
*PS, if this is in your eyes another lame post, feel free to delete! no cares!*
EDIT:
Ok, im just another noob now.. Just went on searching on google and found the answer on this forum through google.. Why didnt it show up on the forum search????????
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-297493.html
I couldn't agree more and the speakerphone volume is pathetic..
If theres a fix then I have obviously missed it..
look at the link.. there is a little registry tweak.. i tested it.. it works, but not to the best, its a little louder..
Also looks like the setting will be lost during softrest or hardrest...
Just curious .. what ROM are folks using? It seems to me that the new CUSTEL ROM is a bit louder than the other WM6 ROMS I have tried (though it may be my imagination).
I most recently came from Black 3.01 ... then to LSVW 05/07 ... now am using CUSTEL 2.0. All have their pros and cons ... but I think CUSTEL's may not have this volume issue.
or, it is all in my imagination?
I agree with the initial premise, however, that the upgrade to WM6 seems to have degraded incoming call volume.
Hey, I've used Custel's V1.3 and am currently using a modified LVSW. I've noticed Custel's has a louder incall volume - had to keep the phone away from my ear! It seems to be this setaccusticsparam file - it was mentioned before with people that had Hermes that were TOO loud. I *Think* the file is in the ExtRom portion of the ROM.

Is this file in all ExtRoms?
Anyways, i tryed the fix in he first post that i updated in the link.. Now my phone is nice and loud, had an hour long talk with one of my friends last night and i had to either keep the phone away from my ear or make it softer.. The registry tweak worked.. will see if it sticks on the next softrest i have to make.. Rom is very stable, havent rest in over a week now..
which tweak?
the posting cited has two diff tweaks in it. Which one helped? Or did you do both?
oh man.. sorry.. i used this one..
\HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall\AttenuationCategory = 0
The setting was on "2", changed it to "0" and this worked for me.. Thing is damn loud again..
I checked out the other tweak aswell but that was standard on my phone.. So no change on the second one..
I'm using Black 3.0.1 now, it's the only one I can use. The others were all way too loud.
Thanks for posting this. before the newest Cingular release of their new WM5 rom I had to go to bluetooth because I couldn't hear much of anything on the phone. I did with the newest rom, but it seems to have gone away with black, so I will welcome Custel's rom even more since it does this.
This has worked for me also, changing to 0 from 2 is the trick. What about the bluetooth volume? i have a JX10 and i would love it to be louder thou
This worked for my in call volume too.
Anyone know of a fix for the bt headset low volume issued?
Thanks

Experiencing low volume during calls

Hi All,
I recently flashed the AT&T shipped rom and then TAI_Sw's awesome M2D rom. However, I have found that the call volume during calls are now very low compared to what I was used to.
I've cleaned my ears and there has been an improvement either lol.
Please could someone suggest a fix? Would this require fiddling with the register? Please could someone suggest what to do.
Many thanks in advance,
Regards,
we are new thread crazy today

cheers for your suggestion.
is setacousticparam a .cab file? please could you link me?
Try this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=357543&highlight=setacousticparam
If I can remember correctly this cab runs as autoinstall in his rom after flashing. Default volume levels in his roms are usually at 50% for everything, I think. Maybe you havent checked that during calls?
I'm running the same excellent rom but have the opposite problem my phone is too loud! I have run the in call volume fix found on the thread and although I can now change the in call volume even the minimum setting is far too loud!
If there is a registry setting or anything that could help, a posting of what do would be much appreciated.
Edit: Tried the set accoustics and it made no difference for me.

[Q] Need Your Help

Friends i am very new to android system, still few days ago i flashed my tmobile g2 with cyanogenmod 7.0.3, now i came across fusion virtuous sense 3.0 rom, and wanted to flash, but i dont know i can flash or not? please guide me, i am planning to install this rom with rom manager premium, after removing cache/data and dalvik cache, so can i proceed? i realy dont like cyanogenmod.
You would need to wipe when flashing a new rom I reccomend using amazinglarrys superwipe download from here http://db.tt/7xNYpFp and flash in recovery manauly. I personally would not recommend using rom manager to wipe and flash. You are much better off booting in to CWM and doing everything manually. Just a word of warning virtuous fusion is still very buggy. I better rom to use would be suilmagic insertcoin rom.
[sig]My mission is to hit 1000 posts by 23/05/2011[sig]
I agree. Although Virtuous Fusion is very pretty, it is a HUGE memory hog, and will cause buggy/laggy behavior. I would suggest a different version of virtuous, g-lite, or insertcoin (as suggested above) if you're going for a sense based rom. I'm personally digging meXdroid V3, but it's similar to cyanogen. Flash away until you find exactly what you want. Happy flashing

you are right guys, i flashed that rom, and surprised to saw it wasnt gingerbread, none of the gingerbread app worked in fusion's rom, so get bavk cm7, but it doesnt support aac music in ringer, no smart dialing, and also we cant delete single message from the thread, have to remove whole thread, please
advice me which one should i use which has all the features mentioned above?

Why do you need aac support for ringer? Just make a ringtone and move along.
What are you talking about can't delete single message? Works fine here.

Same here. In the stock messenging app I can delete a single message, all messages from one person, or just all messages by long pressing the desired selection. As far as aac ringtones go, use Ringdroid to snip out any part of an mp3 on your phone to use as a ringer/notification. There are also a few programs on the web that can convert aac to mp3

Why are you asking this question to a normal user?, dude I came from nokia symbian which supported all ringtones or audio formats (almost all) thats why I have huge number of ringtones and songs in aac and wma formats, cyanogenmod cant even play wma? What a **** of a roms he produces, it doesnt even have a flash player, had to install seprately, but what to do with a huge number of aac tones and songs I.already have? I am feeling headache converting 200 songs and 95 ringtones to mp3, now come to messages, I am saying that I cant delete 1 message from a whole thread of a contact, it has no option to delete 1 or some messages from a thread, it doeant even have a smart dialing, I love htc sense, but only problem is it produces very low sound in ringer. I thought fusion's rom is gingerbread so i'll able to use volume boost or dsp manager, but it gave force close error. Did.you understand now?
dont know what to tell you about the ringtones, i have always used ringdroid to convert the particular sound file i wanted into a ringtone.
for the messages, have you ever tried LONG PRESSING on the message you want to delete? if you want to delete an entire thread from someone, you LONG PRESS on their name and select delete thread.
i dont really think you understand what cyanogenmod is about. it isnt the work of one guy, and to put down the hard work the team has put into it, is fkn retarded and completely disrespectful. if you dont like it, build your own fkn rom and stop crying.
im done in this thread. i tried to offer a hand, but apparently you dont give a **** about alternatives, or suggestions. your attitude is ****

I mentioned that in my 1st post that I am new android user, I am not a developer, I am just a new born baby, they are a developer I dont have a computer like them, so dont give me a nonsense ideas about making own rom, they dont even like peoples like me to.complain about bugs in their roms, and btw just read ur 1st reply in manner u gave, but this time u replied to the point that long press message which I want to delete, this is called helping others, its my right to say anything which is missing in one's roms they develops. Right now I cant post in developers section bcoz of 10 post requirement.

My newborn baby is not nearly as rude and snippy as you. Especially to people that have been legitimately trying to help you.
The phone plays AAC and WMA songs just fine. You just can't use them as ringtones or notifications. You don't need 95 ringtones. Pick a few you like and convert them to MP3. AAC and WMA are proprietary formats (developed by Apple and Microsoft, respectively). If you wanted maximum compatibility, you should have stuck to MP3, which is the universally accepted standard.

That's bull****, the developers like having bugs in their ROMs reported, so they know what needs to be fixed.
Cyanogen himself does not check these threads for bugs. You need to use the issue tracker linked on his ROM post, if you want to report a bug.

Recently, Adobe has been updating Flashplayer frequently. Including 3rd party software in a ROM, that is going to be obsolete in a week doesn't make any sense, when you can just download the latest version from the Market.

well I never mind whatever you say, as far as I know, I have to sacrifice 1 thing, so opt for a sense ROM named as insertcoin, my main problem with sense ROM is just 1, its produces very very low ringer, but other than that its way way better then cyanogenmod Rom, I don't know why fusion's sense ROM doesn't support apps made for gingerbread, like volume boost etc, he mentioned its a gingerbread ROM. I have flashed cm nightly, fusion virtuous, droidv3, and next is insertcoin, so far droidv3 was the best ROM I used. faster, and not laggy. btw my question was replied in a rude manner 1st (why do you need aac ringtone? what are you saying about messages everything working fine for me) now take a look and think who was rude 1st, will u call it helping? thank God I don't help people this way.

I just downloaded for my TMob S6 Edge model and about to give this a whirl. I'm a strong Viper advocate and wasn't sure if your mod will happily coexist. Will Nandroid first then get back. Much appreciate your contribution.
EDIT: Killer sound MOD. Works fine with Viper. My thanks again.....
I use it with viper also and it works great but i use the medium sound or even the stock sound if yiu use viper. The loud is a bit too much and it may cut out for some...glad u like it

Turns out I'm an idiot. Was a bit loaded on vicodin yesterday and failed to realize that this is the S6 Edge forum, not the S6 Edge+ forum.
Well, it works in that it enables the handset speaker, but in doing so it seems to disable the main (bottom) speaker. So I only have sound coming from the handset speaker. Unfortunately, reverting to stock doesn't seem to have fixed the main speaker problem...so no I have no sound lol. I'll see if I can pull the xml file out of another ROM or something.
Seems like a bad ass idea though.
Edit: Actually, this only seems to be the case with the youtube app. Everything else is working fine as far as I can tell. I'll mess with the app and see if I can figure anything out.
Edit 2: It's not the youtube app, I think maybe it's a certain protocol or something. System sounds and recorded video works fine, for example, but anything I've played from youtube only comes out of the earpiece. On Facebook, some videos play sound through both speakers, some only from the earpiece.
