Intro:
Splash Screen Randomizer is a simple tool that launches in the background at startup and swaps out a registry value related to the Welcome Splash screen with a random splash screen from a folder that can be defined by you.
Enjoy!

For the HTC boot Splash screen, you can use nbimg, which supports the diamond splash screen size too.

pof, I was converted *.bmp with nbimg , in result i have *.nb file 640 Kb. But when I try to convert *.nb to *.nbh with htcrt I get message 'File greater then default'. (Htcrt from Diamond kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405371 )
It's normal or not? And what size of *.nbh file must be, if it only with splash?

haha. thats the image i use for my startup screen. (well.... sorta) sorry though, mine is a .gif image that's been edited to read "Windows Mobile Is Starting Up...."
Looks Like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
really all you need to do is find the large version of this wallpaper, edit it on your pc to scale to 240X320 and change the file name to the .jpg file name you want.
use can use any editing program but you can use the most simplest program like MS paint use the option stretch/skew and reduce the size until the attributes show 240 px by 320 px.
here's a link to one image you may want to try editing; http://farm1.static.flickr.com/171/414469897_a3b4f09f63.jpg
Edit: Here. I took that image and edited it fo you for 240X320 resolution. Hopefully this is that you're looking for.

How the h..l i can change a rom name

I use a kitchen, how the damn i can change the rom name and version ...
Is killing me from now for 3 days....
PLs explain exactly ...pls
Sry for my bad language, but i m pissed off, and tired of searching without any result.
Tnks in advvance.
If you want to change the ROM name that appears on the device information screen, you just need a registry editor. If you want to change the name that appears on thew boot screen you will need to hex edit the .nb file.

off course with the rom name in the device information, is very easy ... ( registry editor way ) , but the second thing ... in the kitchen i don t have a nb file, only after i build a os-new.nb, and with a hex editor i can t find the name and version of rom ....
I think there is inside the kitchen a file where is stored this information ....
Tnk s in advance.
Still can t find the way

[D.APP]Animated GIF to BMP Image List

I was looking for this kind of application for over a week now for some Windows Mobile project and can't find any free stuff and one time I have read that they said that there's a lot of this kind of "free" converters spread around the internet.. but I can't barely find one.
Anyway, since I cannot find any free c onverters that can convert Animated GIF to BMP Image List/Image Sequence, I decided .. well, again.. made my own.
This tool is very straight forward. Just drag and drop any animated gif file and you can export it into image list/image sequence (whichever you call it) .. this can handle greater than 250 frames!
here's the main UI with a sample animated gif.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and after the export, here's the BMP image list/image sequence.
Anyway, I resized the image to 640x47 but the original size was 2717x200 (247 x 11 frames = 2717).
If you think this might be useful for you then why not download it!
orig source ...
Just what I needed when I needed it. Thank you.
Thank you
Am not getting any notifications from XDA about what's happening on my threads. So if you guys having some problems on my apps and not getting any support from me. Am so sorry.

As ya can see the default album cover in my HD is f... ugly. I want to change it to something different (still looking). My first question is it a .manila file or .bmp or .png? Tried to find it with cfc_gui but no result, also tried to find it in device Windows folder but don't know the name of this file. Second question is how to change it if it's a .bmp or .png? Thnx in advance
Hi
It`s me again you will find all the manila music or audio files in your cfc_gui under audio\vga you can change everything in the bart of audio\vga with your GIMP, I did it already many times and the filename what you a looking for is 35e41510_manila. Do change the file copy them do you PC go in your GIMP an make you own picture or style what you prefer in 256x256 size PNG than copy them OVER the manila file what you have saved from you phone, after that , back to you phone, done!
Hi lumisab. Apparently not copied that file from my HD. I'll have to find it. Now I'm gonna have nicer cover for my unknow album. Thnx m8 [long live for gimp ]
