White Label ROMs

Hi - I have both a Universal and a Wizard. For a while now, on my Wizard I've been using a ROM made up of 'best bits' of all the available releases, with all carrier customisations removed - this is released under the name 'Mr. Clean' rom. It's bugless and lightweight. Perfect!
Does anyone release a similar rom for the Universal? Or does anyone prepare one for their own use who might consider sharing? It really would be great to see.

We should do this.
A "Clean" ROM with a CAB set to choose from for each provider.
I would appreciate this greatly - since t-mobile remove some stuff from the blank setup.

I followed that thread - but the links dont exist.
Could someone upload the T-mobile version of Jwright's ROM to the XDA-Developers FTP site??

I just tried the thread I posted above and the link works fine. It must be your computer settings.
I am not sure which version is this though. I think he released QTEK, IMATE, and TMOBILE versions. Just use the Ma_Upgrade_No_ID_Tool.

The link I posted above is the link to the topic with the files you guys are looking for. It should be on the first post of that link, and it works fine on mine.

I am now confused. This has been discussed before, someone took off those files from the fttp. Probably someone does not want to share or maybe it took a great chunk of memory storage. That is why "Xanadu" provided us with this alternate download site, but it is the same file, so it does not really matter if we can't find the original posted file by Jwright because someone was gracious enough to share.
I thought the topic was where is Jwright's Modified ROM? I provided a link on where to donload it. Question answered. What is still the confusion? Are you looking for a specific file for a specific device like Jwright promised? If so, he also left instructions on how to use the Ma_Upgrade_No ID file. So just extract the files necessary and rename them, then install.

As you know, I come from the Mogul world. But, I just got a Vogue (upgrade pricing). Trying to decide whether to keep it. I am sure that this ROM will make that decision more difficult. (Btw, any thoughts you have on Vogue vs. Mogul, feel free to tell me - on here or PM).

EDIT: Forgot to tell you, I am writing this post on my DCD 3.2.0 Mogul over 6.1's version of ICS. VERY fast (I was running tests on ICS vs. Wireless Modem app (from TalynOne))

Hey Guys noobie here, but i have been following some for a while. with this can i just run it straight? i have no mods on my touch, just original sprint rom. do i need to unlock it still or anything? and i have a windows 2000 system at work, will this cause any problems with the install?

just run the exe and follow the instructions. requires no unlocking, etc.

I'm guessing its gonna require tweaks, regedit and all that sort of things?

does the GPS still need to be primed with a program like AstroGPSLauncher for TomTom, iGuidance, or iGO?

Strange thing is, no Ext Rom.
Nevermind all the old stuff in the rom, only thing updated I would say is some of the OEM Drivers, everything else has been floating around the forums for months.

could someone post the RUU nbh file for this ROM? I would like to flash this by lunch
but seriously... due to my penchant for betas (not the fish), I have been having issues flashing from the home pc. Having found out how to flash from SD, I haven't done it any other way.

This is obviously big news. Keep in mind this "ROM" is NOT flashable to any of the current devices we know of. NONE. You also can't dump this with the current tools we have at our disposal so, NO, we can not make WP7 ROMs based on this. Some great minds are already working on decrypting the format of this ROM and I'm sure information to that effect will be posted in the thread when that happens.
Until then, please refrain from asking if this is compatible with your phone (it's not!) or when it's going to be ported to "X" device. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation

This .nbh is unsigned, previous HTC NBH images were all signed. I made a new version of NBHImageTool to work with a WP7 unsigned .nbh, it will dump and rebuild.

New! 5/18 Here is a link to all the raw partition data found inside the flash.store.bin (os.nb) - Note that I do not yet fully know the FAT, so the partitions marked UnknownData are more than likely part of the partition immediately following. Once I fully understand the FAT I will update with a proper list of partitions.

can u clarify more,is this the rom wm7 or wp7? Cingular don't exist I guess, so was this for an old unreleased HTC device? Just a guess, but pls throw some more light on that

Regarding Cingular, HTC often refers to AT&T as Cingular internally, even on WM6.5 devices. So that's not toooooo strange.
The build here is 6167 so this is not an old WM7 ROM. Again, HTC may be referring to WP7 as WM7 internally, sometimes MSFT calls it that internally as well

Or so they say....tom says a lot of things...just because he says them doesn't mean there true...trust me i know.

From what I understand tom & co were working with JTAG, rather than the bootloader, so likely would not have had to mess with decompiling the D000FF format. But if they did work with it any help would be appreciated

Also my thoughts.
Always when it gets nice, tom's name shows up. He should share more, but lets stay ontopic.
The new HTC device is probably the diamond3 or a new line. After the HD, the next device was the Diamond2, so I think Diamond3 will have this Rom.

Cool. So what are the next steps guyz... I have no idea of cooking or porting, but just interested in knowing the process involved on a HIGH LEVEL in Layman language. Just so even ppl like us also understand what kind of time energy and dedication goes into chefs like you who are involved in getting this OS on our respective devices.
Atlease from what I have heard or saw (like in one of the Win Phone ads), the most probable of the existing devices out there for this OS is HD2. Again, I could be totally off with this, but just based on the SnapDragon, Capacitive, RAM and other specs of HD2 makes me think this might be the most compatible device for now.
Of course, the fact that I own one does not mean anything

Since this is an HTC's ROM, it should have pre installed software, like readers, games etc. Do we have any info on that?

We cant, you can see there's 16 peer source on DHT but its on protected server like's needs something keys or intranet.
