haha NICE,
I think the outlook enhancment adds additional menu options and functionalities into outlook.. Not sure if the cab works per say.. and the smart touch,. No clue man.. Good luck

Figured they would enhance the outlook features. But I saw nothing. And the smarttouch was supposed to enhance the thumb wheel, but I also see nothing. Really wanted to see if I was doing something wrong.
Biggest thing I did wrong I see is ask questions to get a bunch of smart remarks.

Oh yeah, I agree, but in the thread a bunch of people had installed it and no errors. So I figured that the outlook cab would enhance outlook so I decided to give it a try.

I think it has to do with this ... outlook enhancement I think part of PDAcorner's ROM ...
As for the other one, I don't know ... The hermes with its edges are not really designed for the touch screen environment like the touch/touchcruise so I generally don't bother with things like that.

That cab only seems to add it to "outlook contacts" rather than the msging app as well.

Hi Folks!
Has anyone managed to get the To-Field autocomplete functionality in WM6 back to how it worked under WM5? Under WM5 it checked the name I typed into the To-Field against the Addressbook in "realtime" - under WM6 I now have to go into the Menu and select "Check Names".

I don't find anything negative in "Geek" and I would define myself as such but since I definitely did not mean to offend anyone and since It's sure that at least one person did take it that way I've changed my posting.

My autocomplete seems to work fine on WM6. I start typing the name and i get a list automatically pop up so i can just click it. I get this for SMS and email. MMS unfortunately i still have to click to and then add names manually but then i had to do that with WM5 anyway.

That's strange - for me it does not. Have you installed an extended ROM? Because I haven't and thats the only difference I can think of.

No problem mate! But still I will not call anyone Geek anymore since it's apparently not for everyone as positive as for me.
Nope, only cabs i've installed from an ext rom are the ones that get video calling working.
Pretty sure that it was working before then though......
With WMXL v.20 coming soon (no doubt you'll be upgrading) you may want to try a hard reset or perhaps a reflash to see if your problem persists.

I noticed somewere - can't recall where - that there is a "missed calls" notifier for the Today screen, looks like the New mails notifier.
Does anyone know where I can get it from?

No, I mean a real Today plugin. It shows as follows:
Missed calls: N
Where N represents a number of missed calls.
this may not be what you are looking for but o2 plus has a today plugin that will show the last call whether missed or dialed... it has a ton of good plugins in it.. if you want it just do a general search for o2 plus

Many thanks. I will give it a try tomorrow. My JasJam is being tested overnight with Exchange 2007 for seeing the new features supported with WM6
I use DKToday - It dhows your network and signal strength, the days missed calls, days talk time, months talk time and months txts sent as well as having a little icon that turns bluetooth on and off.
Takes up double the room of the new messages today plugin and shows more than you're after, but maybe worth a look if the other info is of interest.

its a decent app that has tons of different today plugins, even has so that you can schedule different ringer profiles... but glad it did the trick!

I've been using your CAB for a couple of days now, and I didn't even thank you...

found out they have even more apps, like messaging plus(treaded messaging that does not replace the original messaging!)
but they are very hard to get "patched"

This seems to be an earlier version of O2 Plus, the one a recall on the O2 Atom had options of modifying the font size and so on in the setup.

To remove plug-ins don't you just go to "Start>Settings>today" then choose the "Items" tab and unselect the plug-in you want removed from the today screen.
If you want to remove the whole plug-in and it's program, just uninstall the program from the "remove programs" application. (under the "System" tab in settings)

Nope - the touch.dll isn't compatible.

You know about the flashbased one? I don't use it myself (anymore) because it's rather slowish and it chews up alot of memory.

Hi guys i am also looking for an rss reader for my s620 Excalibur. I used to use Dr Martin Gonzo RSS Hub on my s710 vox, does anyone know if this would work with the Excalibur ?. Runing WM6.1 080408 Final For Excalibur WWE with English - By Kavana, I dont want to install on the offchance of it working and possibly make my system buggy as i have spent too days setting up my Excalibur after rom install.

thank you very much for your help and for being a test pilot. i have went ahead and installed but have found a slight problem, any help in solving it would be appreciated, have set up rss feed to give home screen notification of an updated feed, however when i go to check my email account via my today screen i get the message (cant find rssHub or one or more components). after pressing ok i then get accsess to my email account. any idea on this problem?

Not sure but it may be because it's come from another ROM so some of the files that relate it to the email account may be missing "as in intergration"

Is all good, always try whole names or phrases when searching, too short won't work. OZ Messenger is what you needed to type.
I can't say if it's better or not, I just use it because I use sms not an internet plan.
Anyone wanna give me some help on how to write for chome?
