The My favorite people button does not dial people when pressed or using the navigation button. Is this function correct?

Working great! Quick question, where did you get that AIM program? I would love to load that on my Titan as well. (currently using slick)
Only problem I have is in the today HTC plugin, where I try to set up my contacts it cannot access contacts. (i suspect it's because the default contact program is now icontact). I'm not too worried, because I'm using the contact shortcut in the cube.

Yes, Sprint/HTC has released a ROM with GPS and RevA support. It's available via HTC's site.

I was wondering about that, too. Seeing as you choose one of the numbers when assigning the slot (assuming the contact has multiple phone numbers), I would assume using the favorite person button would call that number.
Actually, I just realized that if you touch the name under the photo, it calls the person. If you touch the photo, it goes to their contact page. I'd prefer this behavior be reversed - I think calling the person would be the operation you wish to perform most. Maybe this can be changed via some registry key?
The only other thing I have noticed thus far is I've lost the ability to select multiple messages in my Inbox (can only scroll). Is this a bug, or is that how this version of TouchFlo works?

Well you don't really need to select multiple messages anymore, this is because of I added a Mark All Read or Delete All

But it would still be useful to selectively delete a group of messages. I don't typically delete everything from my inbox.

Known issues & fixes:
Can't re-align screen: FTouchFLO is not compatible with screen alignment, disable FTouchFLO first (see FTouchFLO development thread).
Can't disable FTouchFLO using the configuration tool: It fails to disable FTouchFLO because the original FTouchFlo link in StartUp directory is marked as system, so it hasn't sufficient permissions to delete it. Delete it manually, then you can enable/disable FTouchFLO normally using the configuration tool.
Brightness icon doesn't work on HTC Home: I forgot to patch HTC Home DLL for Hermes, I will upload it later.
Import/Export/Find functions are greyed in Registry Editor menu: Those functions are not fully implemented yet, they will be in the next version (see Registry Editor development thread)

One question: In your tweaks list, you say "nicer font" - are you using the default font that comes with Vista, think it's called Segoe?? That's what I've got currently on my Hermes and from your screenshots it looks like you've chosen that one too....just wanted to ask!

Thought I would help out by putting the most asked queries and solutions around this ROM on one page/in one post. All depends on if I can find the time, given that this thread seems to grow at a rate of knots (no surprises there). 3) Cannot initiate the cube in this ROM - It's NOT there yet; Schaps is still working on it. It will be released when he is ready although whether as a cab or as a ROM update is not clear at this time. If you want to experience the cube and learn about it you can download a beta version on the Development & Hacking forum. I have been using the original beta for some time now and it works. The cab file on page 12, post 119 is a good place to start, then read the front page of the thread CAREFULLY!

4) Solitaire not working - This has been reported; awaiting a fix although you may have to wait as Schaps is working on the cube. There may be a cab floating around somewhere to fix the problem.

Schaps is too fast on these roms...he's keeping this forum cooking! Looks like a great touch rom... I'll report back after trying it.
Possible bug, when I click on the camera icon within camera album screen I get a message "Unable to start Camera. Camera device is in used." (wrong grammar?) I checked the task manager and nothing is running.
Super Bright icon in the launcher screen doesn't work.
Rom Limited Test Results
I have used this rom since it was released, which I guess is all week. I ran it for the first 24hrs with just my contacts and diary so I could at least function, from a business perspective.
The rom on its own is very quick, including load-up times. First problem I noticed was the in-call volume issue which is covered elsewhere in this thread.
Next issue I noticed was with the Ftouchflo tool which, no matter which suggestion I used from here, I could not get to disable. The upshot of this was I could not use the cube I was running from Kona_Mtbkr, which was a pain for me as I could not continue the tests I have been undertaking on the beta cube.
I then loaded up all my applications and ran the rom over the next few days. Once fully loaded I noticed that the rom was nowhere near as fast as it was within the first 24hrs with minimum apps. However this is not an issue particular to this rom; it seems to affect all MS roms that I have used.
I noticed a number of other minor but irritating issues, e.g duplicate icons when 3G was connected. I did not test some of the applications that come built into the rom, e.g HTC Home as I used other applications to give me the same functionality. I find HTC Home a rather crude tool/app launcher.
I didn't get round to fully testing the battery issue; however it seemed as if battery consumption had not improved significantly since users started to complain about this issue in 4_01.
I am not clear whether this rom is meant to be a test rom or final version; however there seem to be a number of issues identified within this thread that need to be addressed.
As usual the number of apps included with the full version of this rom is mind boggling. You certainly get "value for money"!
This rom has potential, and continues Schaps theme of producing robust and innovative roms. However it needs polishing and a further version released.
I actually only loaded this version rom because I was looking forward to Schaps incredible purple cube. However as it won't be ready for some time I have reverted back to version 4_01 for now.
I'm looking forward to a revised version being released with the cube, either integrated or as a separate cab.
In the meantime please support Schaps work by donating. Mine is being done straight after this. Also could the person who offered a free Hermes to Schaps please contact him by PM to sort?
I understand that it is pretty difficult for Schaps to get a clear view of issues and problems as he doesn't have a device to test on.

If I follow the instructions on this error FTouchFLO is still running after a reboot.
* I tried to "Align Screen" because my menu bars were running sluggish...even after I changed them back from "Thin scroll bars" in Advanced Config. The 8525 hangs on the align screen until I power off/on quickly. I believe this to be related to FTouchFLO having control of my screen.
Any instructions on replacing the purple contacts images with the black ones? The files there, but when I try to copy them it won't let me over write the old ones.

Pay some respect to meschle's decision!
Even though as such I do appreciate those great ROMs being available again don't you think we should respect meschle's decision?
They were his works and IMHO he's got every right to decide that they shouldn't be spread any more.
I think this is just exactly what made him retreat from this forum!
Unfortunately I think he's right that we're moving somehow on the edge of legality (or does anyone have a licence for Windows Mobile 6.1 instead of 6.0?!? Like MS's update policy or not - that's how it is!), and now we're not even respecting his personal wish not to be associated with this grey area any more...
While I'd think he wouldn't really mind if those images get swapped on a personal basis I'd say at least they shouldn't be made available publicly any more.
I can't imagine that any of us would want to cause any stepping stones for his future carreer after all the great stuff he has delivered for us in the past!
But that's just what's possibly happening!
Somehow this also for me creates a slight feeling that XDAdevs slightly is becomming a wharez-forum (also seen quite some hack/crack-requests recently) - and I'd REALLY pity if that would become the rule as it easily could mean serious trouble for the Admins and so maybe even the Dev's forum being shut down...
Just my two cents.

We do respect Meschle's decision and we all appreciate his work, but don't you think that all these Roms and Programs were someone else property before they get developed? we are not stealing anyone's work, most of us have these roms on our devices and we are not doing anything but to share it with everybody.

yep, I do agree with you that the ROMs originally are someone elses property: M$.
And that's just where I'm coming from:
As said no WM6.1 ever was released for the Artemis, so most probably M$ won't consider them as absolutely legal.
Even where I also do not appreciate their Update Policy for WM...
Now there's just such ROMs about which easily can be tracked back to meschle as the originator who also made them public - another thing that M$ never liked!
So, in case M$ ever would look into such cooked ROMs they automatically would step over him.
Meschle, in case you're still reading the posts from time to time maybe you could make a statement on how you do see it?
At the end of the day indeed it was your great work!

We all respect Meschles decision, but he stated he no longer wants his name associated with the ROMS. He also stated that there are copies of his ROMS around and there is nothing he can do about it. He is no longer hosting them, nor supporting them, taking donations, or even talking about the ROMS so I think now this is OK.

Ok, updated it and tested it. As far as of now, this rom is in the stable of tnyynt and adw. Not in the category of most roms that are nowadays on this forum. :beer:

I'm a Manila fan myself, but I just know I'm going to have to flash this at some point.
So, even though you don't use it, are you not slightly tempted to create an exclusive FInix Manila ROM? The current Iolite & Footprints versions are still a bit unstable as far as I can see but prior to that, Nosedive and Chanvi were producing some great Manila ROMs (providing the user doesn't need to run a lot of memory dependent applications). Maybe a skinner somwhere would produce an exclusive post install "FInix m2dc" theme for it...

Hilarious.. Last night I was looking for an ultra light rom, and flashed version 3.6 . I am ,too, decided moving away from Manila because finally there is a better solution (try pointui2). So exactly 24 hours later I have now flashed 3.7
As usual - flawless. Only one comment about free RAM. I have installed SKtools and set it up to extreme free RAM. I am glad to report it does not affect performance, and I can get over 30M free RAM on initial soft-reset.
Another comment- I noticed page pool is set to 6M. I tried setting it to 3M RAM and the phone is still blazing fast with this rom. Any particular reason why 6M page pool? I like having 51M RAM instead of 48M, and as stated - it does not affect performance, at least not on the apps i am running. I have no real understanding of how to choose the best page pool, and I do apologize I had the nerve to tweak your already perfect rom... so can you tell me how do you decide on page pool sizes?

flashing seems smooth and boot up time is superb.
two comments,
1. after today's screen completely loaded, i still see the hourglass icon appears for about a minute or so. it seems something is running at the back, i tried disabled the PDC, but it still persists.
2. active sync keeps appearing, i'm using htc task manager 2.1.
tried hard resetting with hope to eliminate the above two misbehaviour but to no avails.
i'm using lite rom. nonetheless, it's a great rom, very fast. thank you so much.

Great ROM. Using it for 24 hours now. Seems stable. Good battery life
Found two minor bugs. Scrolling through call history rsults in badly readable lines.
Bluetooth won't connect (or even see) my carkit. However it sees my laptop and a bluetooth adaptor on my PC.
Keep up the good work.

Well Van-dam yes the call history scrolling sucks in phone canbvas we all think that it cant be fixed cause Its a HTC apps and this builds comes from Micr0shoft, we all need to wait for the official release to get a full driver and compatibilittie features.

MMS and Internet Settings???
Hey I just flashed this rom but I Cant find the traditional "MMS Configuration" area so that I can put in my T-Mobile setting... Is there some kinda trick? Also after a while the rom freezes at the boot loader screen and then I have to soft reset. When I do it will load again but I get about 15 error messages that "so and so" file couldnt load... Whats up? Something I might be doing wrong? I have hard SPL 2.10 Olipro on a Herm200...
Nevermind. Got the settings. But what about the freezing and rom failure issue? Any ideas?

why are you on bootloader screen? this screen is only needed when the device cant boots and you need to reflash...
So i think, you would say...
The ROM freezes after a softreset... maybe on the windows animation?!
If this is the case: just perform againa softreset... you cant lost data by softreset... but I think as you say that the rom Begins again with the Softreset seems that you dont flash the stripped first...
The certificates error not exist on this build, i think you got the error untrusted certificated aplication or missing components...
Please... Retry the upgrade first the Original att! then let it boots completely ( to be sure Hard reset it again...) then let it boots completley gain... then upgrade mine...

First of all, thank you very much for your work.
Only one question, you say 34MB at startup with Sense. What is the normal free ram after you use manila in a day or after some hours of normal use (more or less).
I am very interesting in Roms that the Ram don´t decrease in excess after hours of use (my problem is iGo navigator that always need 30Mb free to run properly with Gurjon skin). On the other hand, after hours of use always manila turn to be too heavy.
Nothing else.

Checking what you mean on this. I have some programs that require a lot of RAM. On some ROMs I disable Sense when running these. Are you saying that you can't do this?

however, i want u to fix some problems :
1. whenever i wanna close the app, i tap the X button on the bottom right of the screen, but the app is still running and it's not closed yet
2. so, i logged to the settings to find the option named "X button settings" but there's nothing
3. the options which i was looking for in question 2 is often included in Task Manager, but your Task Manager is a little different... and therefore there's no tab for customizing the X button...
can u solve this and update soon??
nice rom..but can i do something to change the ugly volume bars but still keep the original wm incall volume?? n graphics are verry smooth!!

With Sense 2.5.2012 VGA port you can change the home background via Home Tab - Menu - Home Wallpaper - Weather wallpaper. But for the Sense 2.5.2016 VGA port it does not work anymore. You can change the Home Tab Wallpaper by using PHM Registry Editor:
1. Open PHM Registry Editor.
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then Software, and then HTC.
3. Select Manila and look for the entry HomeBackgroundPath at the bottom window and select it to open it.
4. Inside the Value data box enter the path of the wallpaper you want to use.
Ex. \Internal Storage\My Pictures\Diamond wallpapers\HTC HTD Mini.jpg
\Windows\HTC HTD Mini.jpg
5. Press Ok to save it.
6. Close PHM Registry Editor (Tools -> Exit)

Hi. Yes, that's the problem with build 6.5.x...when you tap the "X" on the bottom right in only minimizes the app. That's the reason why chefs who cook 6.5.x roms often include third-party apps like Arkswitch or eNatives Showcase. I was using Arkswitch with BsB rom. Same thing, if you want to customize the "X" button on a build 6.5.x rom you can use a third-party software called AMeBa.

Based on my experience, free ram (with Sense running) after hours of normal use would go to as low as 11 - 15MB. Yes, running Sense on our Diamond indeed turns to be too heavy for the device. Sense is a RAM eater. You just have to disable Sense and go with Titanium when using apps like iGO...

Hello. It's either the original WM volume control or HTC volume control. I believe you can not use both.
Can you say me, who can i find the backgroundwallper to make it at sense.
I meen the background that was in Titanum.
