hello !!
im having problem replacing my failer device with new one in HTC Service Center .. if the software is different from the original i lose the warranty and i changed it .. so i want to get it back with the lock .. is it possible ?? please its important cuz i the device is damaged and they will refuse to replace it ..
the original rom was from Indian Airtel telecom .. v 1.37 with the lock
please some1 give me an answer even if its not possible so i can calm about it and find another solution for it ..

...cool down! Sure is it possible to revert to the orig. rom, assumed you have the rom!

where did you get the phone from? surely the shop can help you get a copy of the original rom...
otherwise as above... try registering on htc website to down the official roms
do you sim lock? yo uare allowed to unlock your phone
the 137. rom is on here il try find it for you

I don't know , but after upgraded to the newest rom , my pda always shutdown when battery is about 75% , so I try to downgrade to the OEM rom and find out whether it can fix the problem !!!

I think we have established that in the majority of cases this problem is due to a duff battery, and not ROM related.

As Steve said - that issue is strictly connected to bad battery not device itself.

Oh really ? Thank you all for your kindnesses. I live in Vietnam and it's hard for me to buy a new original OEM battery . Once again , thank u very much for fast reply .
And just another question please : why doesn't O2 company inform to customers on their website about such a battery problem that many customers face with ? Other famous companies like Toyota , Ford , Mercedes ... always warn customer about their products' lifes so that the customers can replace it in time .

I went to a dealer and got a rom dump and rebuild with cmonex's help Thanks a bunch cmonex for helping me ...
this is a big storage rom so you will have a little extra space as well...

i got for INR 27,000 /- , i think when airtel announced HTC diamond back in May they said the cost would be 27,500/-

it does not unlock the phone it restores those that flashed with a non edge radio rom so the radio stops working
need airtel rom base / drivers
and where is me_p's rom mine is 1.37.702.x (forget the last one )

That's why i mentioned that Me_p's ROM is new one.. That's the same one 1.37.720.2 WWE.. Boinger66.. Dont think this is old ROM as quoted by Outkasted..
I bought mine one for 26,700, from distributor directly.. Eagerly waiting to see it on 8th when i get it in hand (my relative coming back with it from Kerala)
tho am in India i got the 3g model
I really dont understand why they would release a 2g version just for the Indian market
when 3g is gonna come out in airtel and vodafone in mid sep.another wierd marketing strategy

We can never expect ROM upgrades.. Got my Diamond today.. Awesome. Was about to flash Bepe' ROM and halted after reading this thread..
Why is it not advised for flashing? Due to SIM locks? Someone mentioned non edge radio, what if i flash the rom without the radio? possible?

if you flash your radio wont work
until you flash back to indian 2g compatible rom
Thanx for the info.. So I have your modded panosha' ROM as the only option left? For the moment I dont see any big difference with it to the original stock rom apart from a little more Storage memory. Only thing I dislike is the SMS and MMS accounts being together

If i'm the buyer, i will prefer to the phone that with official rom installed.
As if the phone has never been flashed..
And it is professional.

Of course it should be an official ROM... But does it matter so much if the ROM is a year old??

I bought a tilt 2 new, and unlocked it via imei. It have the original at&t rom with touchflo. so as u know theres a new rom since august that changes flo to sence and many other things.
So... my phone that is unlocked, if i update it to last oficial rom, it will be locked again? then i will have to unlock it again?

faq is talking about flashing custom roms and hardspl. but thats not what i want, i just want to update to the oficial last rom, from official old rom. But as i unlocked it by imei code not hardspl.
I dont wanna have a phone locked for att again. As i said 3 diferent forums and only u gave me an answer, i just wanna be sure
I suspect most people see you got an answer and move on. If you flash the new ROM the worst thing that happens is you have to unlock again, but the new ROM should not lock the phone

you can flash any firmware you want but be sure to choose 4.1.2 version and not the 4.1.1 u can get stock rooted in ketan thread or download from sammobile hopefully u have a n7100 international version
so if ill flash UK virsion 4.1.2 even due mine might be the chinise one isnt Dangerous right? it cant brick my phone or somthing... right?

No it wont create any prob it just yhatt few ppl somtime face prob wth low signal reception and stuff but 95% case dont rather choose the latest from sammobile as it will be smoother n bug free n better battery life too while the uk variant XXDME6 is good

sorry for typo error in the last reply as was replying from my phone .
Well just go ahead and flash the version you wish to it wont create any problems at all . sometimes if you face and prob with network then u need to change modem thats it . if you want pre rooted rom check out here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230250 DMG1 is the latest if not go ahead to sammobile and choose the firmware you wish which is completely stock
