The one I use, http://rapidshare.com/files/8229101..._6275_1.54.07.00_108_UOOS_SVN05_Ship.exe.html, works great for me, YMMV

first of all the icontact is not installed and you can't change the softkey because the sofkey tab does not exist in settings.
i didn't found other problems

well this rom is good, i found fixes for almost all the problem and now it's really better than the original pdaviet.

Where can i download this rom?

Marahox has removed the download link because of the unstability of this Rom, he is asking us to be patient until he fix the problems.

Use Advanced Configuration, which allows you to change soft keys.

i used a software called RemapSoftkeys.exe it is very sample. i also installed the icontact 0.6, i installed almost all the programs i usually use and i am working on this Rom from about 3 hours without any problem and it's really fast

can i try the bigstorage version 1st? where can i download it?

Right first impressions; Very quick, clean, stable ROM (like most 19213 builds)
Things that have to change.
1. AT&T first splash screen. Please change back to how it is in V11+ etc
2. Must change dialer, it is truly awful! Use this one as this is probably one of the best available. Plus I think it needs to be cooked in to have the 3G video call working properly.
3. Oh yes, I nearly forgot... that comm manager has to go as well! Please use Schaps 6 button coloured one.

Cellular_Video_v2.cab
anyone able to get the Cellular_Video_v2.cab to work with this rom? ive tried medianet settings and regular connection settings with and without proxy enabled and i get an error that i need a 3g phone? does something else need to be set so at&t sees my 8525 as a 3g phone.

After further testing the Calculator did not work until I installed NetCF3.5. So you may need to cook that in as well. Aparrently it increases the speed of the phone slightly as well.
Everthing else so far is good.
31 MEG FREE at startup. Which is the most I've come across for a long while.
Nice to see battery 1% increments as well.

i'm a bit confused about version numbers. which version is most recent - this one or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376223 ?

after i installed this rom i am not able to reformat my Hermes any more, when i arrive to flash screen where the mobile should restart on bootloader i got error 246, and if i start manualy on Boot loader and i flash it, it stop on 1%,
what shoud i do in this case?

** Alright guys, i'm sorry to tell but i'm ceasing WM6.5 development until HTC releases an official WM6.5 rom (either it be Topaz, Tachi or Rhodium)

Be advised that this is a BETA rom, so bugs may be present.
IMPORTANT:
* After flash, it's best to HARD Reset your phone (on boot, press Volume Down + Center button), to be sure that the rom is fully initilalized (less bugs!)
* If for some reason you can't access WiFi option in CommManager, either hard reset OR enable WiFi once through settings->connection and then soft reset
Known issues:
- EzInput 2 SIP Menu isn't working (to change to Phone Keypad, install the attached cab and soft reset. To revert back to Full QWERTY, uninstall and soft reset)
- To change xt9 language, see this post
- Call buttons within Manila don't work (requires Topaz Phonecanvas, which isn't ported yet to VGA)
- Minor scroll issues (can't scroll to bottom) in Contact Card (Call Log and Delete/Forward Messages) & World Clock view
- Click on missed call in notification screen takes you to the windows default call log
- Clicking on All Settings in the Settings Tab takes you to Connections setting
- Clicking "Send Contact By Message" in contact card crashes/restarts TF3D2

Hi,
I suggest you include HTC phone canvas (slide2answer and with In-Call-Curtain) in this ROM. Though phone canvas conflicts with WM6.5 home screen lock, one can disable it with AdvancedConfig. Or you can set it as disabled by default, a user can enable it if he wants to use it (e.g. me ).

1) you can't, it requires the new Topaz/Tachi Phonecanvas which hasn't been ported to VGA yet
2) well it works pretty good, perhaps even faster than Diamond manila
just letting know that the ROM is almost ready to be released, i'm going to test it for a couple hours to see the effect on RAM, release will probably be this evening

I've been dreaming about a WM 6.5 and TF3D2 rom all in one. This seems like the best of both worlds because while TF3D2 skins most of WM 6.1, the places it leaves out are the old Windows 3.1 style and 6.5 brings a nicer GUI and some nice enhancements too!
I hope your test are successful because I would love to throw this onto my diamond asap. Backing up my old files now just in case!

- use Phone Kepad or Compact QWERTY to add words to Xt9
Twitter Tab: tapping on a tweet does not work
-> WM 6.1 problem, no fix yet
Other issues:
Group Editor crashes when adding contacts
- REASON: ContactPicker 1918 is not compatible with Group Editor
- use categories in native contact editor to manage groups
- Manila handles contact categories as groups
Footprints are not included
- REASON: required Album 3.2 is incompatible with WM 6.1
- No facebook / twitter integration in Album
Photo Tab shows no photos
-> Open Album, select the folder (left Softkey) with photos and select "Menu" -> "select as favorite"
Background is not applied immedeately
- REASON: known Manila 2.5 issue
- simply switch tabs or select picture twice or restart Manila
automatic weather update doesn't work
- this happens if using a data connection with some providers
- try WiFi or an other provider

So, downloaded and loaded..... had me a bit worried for a little while because the flash took longer than usual. But booted up fine and seems snappy. Noticed the Task manager changed, was just getting use to the defualt one. Think there might be some hinky stuff with the keyboard, but its time for sleep. Letting MS My Phone do its thing, and I'll update when I actually get to play with it tomorrow. For now though, all seems well.

Ok so, still only a few hours in.
Still seems quick and responsive, which is nice.
As for bugs:
IE is ....buggy, have the screen freezes when scrolling, sometimes loads blank pages. I know,... its IE, that's what it is suppose to do. Still, just reporting back.
Ring tone sometimes plays sometimes doesn't, it's and issue I've always had, but I put a custom ring tone on it, so it just might be the file.
I'm in a poor reception area, but can normally connect at 3g, ... for the life of me, I can't seem to get it. Hard reset a few times and auto configured the connection. When I go out and about I'll try it again.
Fixes if you can incorporate into next build:
The on screen keyboard is useless, I got big old bear hands and I lost my stylus a while back.
The slide out keyboard, you have to hold down the fn and caps button to use it. Not a big deal, but it's annoying and I'm not sure how to change it.
When replying to text, ... shows up as new text and doesn't take you to the treaded messaging. Though you can open up the threaded messaging and reply there.
Over all though, seems to be working well. Thanks for giving me some renewed interest in my phone and pleae keep them coming.

Ya, I've noticed the SMS issue as well. I'm not sure why it is doing that, but it annoys me.
I haven't experienced any IE or ringtone problems yet, but I'm using the stock ringtone still.
I've used the HTC keyboard in the past and it worked well. I want to try and get the VS750 keyboard ported over before I have to resort to the HTC keyboard.

I was able to hammer down all of the necessary files to get the LG Fathom dialer working. I will be adding it to RC2, but if anyone is interested in using it now, you can try the attached cab.

If anyone is interested, here is the background image I normally use. It find it works well with the Classic Blue theme.
It's 800x800 pixels so that it looks good in both Portrait and Landscape.

For anyone interested, I put together an OEM package of Myriad Java. From what I can tell it's the best Java manager available for Windows Mobile. I will be including this in RC3.

So it seems that the SMS issue (replies open in classic instead of threaded) is related to the build. I tested 23090, 23103, 23121, 23127, 23139 & 13152.
The issue is not present in 23090 (official SDK release) but there are issues with IE and the dialer with that build (LG related, not MS).
23103, 23121 & 23127 all have the issue when replying to text messages. These are the three builds used by the Fathom. I guess it is not an issue since the Fathom uses a 3rd party SMS app by default.
The issue was apparently fixed between 23127 & 23139 since it was not present in 23139 & 23152.
Since 23152 (AKU 5.3.12) is the most recent official build of 6.5.3 I have been testing that. So far it seems really good so I will probably use it for RC3.
Update: Apparently, it was fixed in 23129 (according to another thread). The issue is with htmlnote.dll.

I noticed yesterday that the proximity sensor was not working with the LG Fathom dialer in RC2. Turns out you need to include OemDialerExt.dll whether you want to use the default MS dialer or a 3rd party dialer.
I can include a cab to add it if anyone is interested, otherwise it will be added in RC3.

Ok, I know I'm special, but when I unzip the last two RC's doesn't matter where I unzip them, it starts up, ask if I want to upgrade and then appears to download the update from LG and not update the verision I downloaded. Not sure what I did wrong, but any suggestions would help.

Well, that happens if it can't find the ROM file.
If you look at \LGMOBILEAX\SmartPhoneSetup\SPConf.ini
You should see the line.....
DZNAME = rom.dz
and the file rom.dz should be under \LGMOBILEAX\Phone\
if the file is missing, it will try and download it.
