But how about Pocket Land (www.compegs.com) and OziExplorer from D and L software?

If the software accepts NMEA (the GPS standard) then it should work. We currently have one on test (a colleague not me ) and very nice it is too!

Best Bluetooth GPS for TomTom 3 & XDA 2i

Hello all, I am new to the forum.
I have just got my 2i and love it. Want to do the satnav thing now, but would like to know the best BT gps unit to get, i have a Jabra bt headset & Satnav enabled car (screen mount) cradle.
As per my flag i am in the UK.
Many Thanks
I may not be popular for saying this but a cheap wired gps will give you a solution without the attendant agro of bluetooth.
I have an XDA III (ROM flashed to XDA2i O2 UK) and I use Tomtom 3 with the Tomtom Bluetooth GPS. So far I have had no problem at all. My wife uses it with the HP Ipaq 4150 with the same result.

XDA2i and Globalsat SD-502 GPS Receiver

All,
I have an XDA2i that I don't use as a phone (as I also have an XDA mini S) What I do want to use the XDA for, is handheld GPS and so want to use the SD-502 GPS Receiver. But the XDA2i is not compatible with the SD-502 due to the phone part of the XDA.
Is it possible to reload the OS of the XDA2i with the OS of a compatible PDA??
I'm trying to search out a solution before I am forced to sell the XDA2I and buy a compatible PDA
Hope you can help

Nokia Pop-port to MiniUSB

Hi fellas!
I'm the somewhat happy owner of the HTC Artemis (P3300). In my car is installed a hands-free kit from Nokia (due to my earlier phone was a Nokia 6230). As I don't feel like getting a new hands-free kit (if it's even available) the question is if I can convert the plug coming from the Nokia MBC-15S into the miniUSB port of the P3300 (and probably other miniusb-based phones).
The plug in the Nokia device is called a Pop-Port - I found a brief description of it on http://pinouts.ru/CellularPhones-Nokia/nokia_pop_pinout.shtml ..
You guys know if there's a product out there ?!
Thanks in advance!

i was also wondering if the above was possible?
this would go some way to getting this hermes working with a nokia car kit..
I'll ask around..

XDA Orbit In Car Cradle

Hi all,
we develop mobile data applications / tracking solutions and have switched to the XDA Orbit.
Does anyone know where we can buy a specific powered cradle for this device? Not looking for a universal solution has to be manufactured for the Orbit.
Regards
Simon
