[THEME] Touch HD S2U2 Theme

Thought I would share my S2U2 Theme for the Touch HD. I made it to look as close as possible to the default Tf3D theme.
Thx to all the other theme developers whose work I was able to build on.

try under registry hcu/software/a_c/s2u2 to edit the TimeFormat string to HH':'mm
stupid trick that forces the clock to display like 01:00.

I'm a new user of HD, and i like your slider lock, this is a stupid question may i know how to install it? i only know how to install using .cab files, but .zip, i have no idea, thanks!!!

Search in the forum for S2U2 or Slide 2 Unlock 2 for the programm cuz it's only a theme for it
For a zip, you open it with your computer

my slider is super small (narrow and only goes across half the screen) what did i do wrong? I have removed and reinstalled and still the same issue

Are you sure you have the VGA-version of S2U2 installed?

Works perfectly...I only changed in registry hours display to show two digits instead oneThanks

well thank you, i had the wrong one installed, much much better!

How did you managed it to put the date UNDER the clock. And how are the appointments shown? I'm asking that, because I did that thema myself a few weeks ago but the dates and the appointments were shown on the clock. So they were useless and I had to disable them.

OK, it works.
I selected clock\ (not clockA, clockH or clockHS)

I have same problem - No dogits displayed
I set clock to clock\
Time format is HH:mm
any Idea?

Also for secunds change in the registry: Time format is: h':'mm':'ss

Thanx for what you done, it helped me out alot. I wanted to create a vista style theme for s2u2. Iv just done it, iv included screenshots of what it looks like. Iv created my own vista orb style arrows, and since this place is all about helping and sharing iv attached the files.

guys in s2u2 is option to show weather also in gfx are icons, but somehow i dont know how to turn it on,

[THEME] Classic Black Themes with Analog & Flip Clock

Classic Black Themes with Analog and flip clock
These are the newest.
First from all a big thanks to Max for the 1c684cd8 manila file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480916
I have make the new square analog clock, in two versions: Black font and transparent font. At the most screenshots I have the transparent.
There are cabs at the attached files for the clocks and for every background.
The Cabs are for the new manila, so install only if you have cooked rom with Manila version 2.
Cabs work without problems and any time you want unistall them, you can do that from Settings/remove Programs.
You can put Official slider for Tabs Icons if you don't like the mine.
You can find the file at the attached. Unzip and copy-paste overwrite at the windows folder.
If someone with older manila want to use the backgrounds I give them like wallpapers so as to use from Settings/wallpaper.
Just make right click at the picture and save us at your pc.

Is it moveable like normal analog clocks? Also, does this work with mun_rus background for all tabs on the new manila v3?

Looks awesome mate, bring it on!!!

It is just a test for the looking.
I have to try to make the clock skin to be real file, not a picture just on the background.
I will see..... if no, max has nice clocks.
Mun ras cab it isn't customise until now.

What I would really like, is a nice, classic-looking - normal-looking analog clock. If possible, that is. Something like this:

Just a little suggestion. Could you remove the clock base from the background of the tabs except "Home". I have read somewhere that there are different manilla files for the Home background and all other backgrounds (not sure if this is the case with manilla3) so maybe it is possible to use the base as part of the backgroung (great idea btw!) and not have it mess with the looks of other tabs. And another thing - a slightly longer clock hands won't hurt either

I work on this my friend. But because I like a clock from Max I will try also with this.
Maybe I change the background. I have find an other very nice. I want see how looks in HD screen and I will upload.

touch HD selection colour

Does anyone know how to change the default selection in HD which is green to other color? Is there an application for it?

There are themes that can do this for you. The one I use is Dusk.
I'm also sure that apps like MaxTTM probably also do this, but I have not used this before.

Then I guess you will need to go with MaxTTM. There are Bubbles and Bars in the components which includes a Blue category (either that or flash an energyROM of course). I am not aware of any other options.

i have seen in some thread a screenshot of keko68 screen and really like the kinda wierd half transparent HOME mod..any chance someone (or keko68 himself) can post a cab or give me a link where to get it from?
also, really like the clock background on the very same screen shot from keko68.. a link or cab to get the clock bg too?

Yeah, i agree. It slightly looks unfinished, and after uninstalling the theme the bars are still clearly visible. Any thoughts?

Try it now, I changed the tab key is no longer transparent but that the default and original work, happy!
PS but you have to first uninstall and then install it.

Screen
I might be doing something completely wrong but this is how my screen looks after the installation and once i have removed it. The red arrow indicates the annoying bar which is present at all times now. I don't what this means, so some clarification would be great.

You have to uninstall this shcut 16 and a normal theme replaces the original one, so if you want to keep it installed this theme!

Argh, i tried installing this one, but the problem is still there. I even tried disabling Sense but the bar remains. This is also after i removed my first theme and the 16 shortcut installation. But i actually wanted to ask something else. I looked at some of your work, and i really like the clocks and themes you created for the HTC mega. Are you going to create some more of those for the mini by any chance?

It's a bit difficult to bring the issues of mega QVGA HTC HD mini HVGA, however your problem and you have uninstalled and reinstal shcut 16, you find it difficult because if you can not uninstalled that old you have to instal the above then do the other procedure .

[Mod] Personalize your WP7 - FULL Theme Colour Mod - Reg

Hi!
I'm truly sorry if this is a re-post, but I didn't found any post similar to this.
I've found a way to fully customize my Trophy colours tweaking the registry. You can change your background colour, text, keyboard, etc... To do this just open a Registry editor and go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Themes\1] (That "1" is for Dark theme), then change the colour values like you want!
This is what you are able to mod: BaseThemeColor; ChromeColor; ContrastColor; KeyPadBackground; ListPickerBackground; ListPickerBackgroundPressed; PageBackgroundColor; ProgressBarBackground; ProgressBarDisabledBackground and SysTrayBackgroundColor amoung all texts colours.
I advise you to somehow backup the colour codes you're about to change!
Hope you enjoy it, now start to personalize your WP7!!
P.S: Need to restart to apply!
Here's an example to show what you can do:

It's still a system wide change you are changing the 'Light' SYSTEM theme to a 'custom' color.

I honestly haven´t saw it before posting mine, I have searched it now that you mentioned. As I said: "I'm truly sorry if this is a re-post, but I didn't found any post similar to this." So if the user decides that I am using his work let him speak to me, and I will present him my apologies.
However the user in question only shows how to change the email theme, not the full mod.

Sorry, but I really don't know how to do that. I know you can change the text colour, but not the icon colour itself!
To change text colour edit this Registry Keys:
[HKLM\ControlPanel\themes\1\TextNeutralColor]
[HKLM\ControlPanel\themes\1\ListPickerBackgroundPressed]
[HKLM\ControlPanel\themes\1\ContrastColor]

Any idea how to change the keyboard buttons background so that they are black. Sort of the way the email app has a white keyboard with black letters but just the opposite. Check out the screen caps to see where im at....I can't seem to figure out the keyboard button background. It never changes no matter what i do. The same effect applies to the in call screen and dialer. I think all black will work. I dont think I will lose any functionality as far as visibility is concerned. Maybe its one of the registry strings that have an image instead of colour code?

You'll have to look back to about January ,this was covered way back then ,some of it was about changing the email , but the thread itself was covering the change colors theme , but hey the more the merrier , it might be a good idea to post the original values for the dark theme and for the light theme , otherwise people will continually ask you what they are (because they dont copy them down)!

Anyone know if its possible to change the notification bar color ? I have a pretty awesome theme happening here .. but a white bar at the top is killing me .

lucas.scott: The notification bar uses the TextHighContrast key. Weird, I know.

Any clue as to what controls the arrows and such that are over the ChromeColor ?

That one I don't know. I only played with modding the colors so far before I ran into troubles where they conflicted in third party apps. There's this weird thing where first party apps use the registry, and then third party apps mostly use one of two different XAML files for each accent color, but they're not as consistent as to which one they use as the first party apps. I got tired of tweaking both registry files and a dozen XAML files to have my color tweaks carry across system wide and eventually just went back to doing accent colors only
Good luck though with the theming. If you don't get too hung up about the colors not carrying over to third party apps, it's a lot of fun. I had purple and blue for a while, like the Windows 8 demos. It's definitely showy to have a fully tweaked WP7.

For some reason when I change the values in mfg for BaseThemeColor on my quantum it has no effect..
Other strings all work..
Any ideas?

as far as the BaseThemeColor goes , what are you looking for it to change ? I am currently working on typing up what i have found SO FAR that each value changes . I think it would be cool to start a thread with everyones themes and values .
As far as i can tell , the only change i have noticed that BaseThemeColor makes are sort of generic template things . Mine was set to FFFFFF , so when i went into Zune hub , since i had white text as well , i couldnt see any of my song titles because FFFFFF is the generic white setting , so the background images were washed out like it is on the light theme . When i changed it to FF000000 , Zune hub thought it was on the dark theme then , and played very well with my white text . Also changed dialpad .. so pretty much system apps look at that to know how to behave . I would only use FFFFFFFF / FF000000
I hope that makes sense .. i can upload pics if youd like .

I want the background on my home screen changed.
I want it to be blue like #FF0000FF
No matter what I do they stay black and white:/

for background color .. you want PageBackgroundColor
Also ... i updated my last post with what BaseThemeColor does

I think that the icons are images...we can't change their color...
