when i play files with media player the sound on the speaker in so low that the only way to hear it is to put the speaker next to my ear.
i have the volume on 100%.
it is strage, the same file plays in good volume as a phone ringtone but plays on a very low volume in media player.
how do i boost the sound in media player? (registry, ex')

On my xda 2i is there anyway of making the phone louder when it rings apart from the drop down box. And secondly is there also anyway of making the mp3 player louder than 100%? (media player) It would be nice as through the headphones that come with it, I find that the volume is not loud enough. Thx

Seriously? You have a settings don't you. And what was wrong with the idea to post both questions in one thread?
Boosting the volume (for the speaker) means the sound will get very-very distorted. It already buzzes like mad when at full volume.
If you want to boost the headphones volume (when playing music), search the Market for a music player with a sound EQ.
Did anyone else have the issue of low volume for music player when in speaker mode. I get like 5 even when I have the increased the volume to 15(max). But after I restart it all seems ok.
Is there a way to alter the way volume Control is handled? apps that automatically control volume are only controling ringtone, system, and notification volume. specificly mort player is supposed to increase volume to 100% for the alarm but unfortunately it doesn't raise the media volume which is the volume mort player uses. Silent mode Gold does not mute the media Volume.
I am having a issue. If I set any custom song as ringtone then volume is low about 30% lower as compared to its original volume in music player. However all MI tones are loud. Any help ??????
