Led not blinking after ROM update

Hello all,
I have recently updated to the original WM6.5 ROM from HTC and I'm quite happy with it.
There is only 1 problem I seem unable to solve.
In the advanced settings for ringtones etc. you can set the "led blinking notification" when a new SMS, MMS or e-mail arrives. After the ROM update I am unable to change these settings. They are greyed out and thus not changable.
Does anyone have a solutin for this?

SMS delivery reports

Hi all,
i recently got a desire on vodafone uk, i have found that i fail to recieve sms delivery reports whenever i send a text.
the box is checked in the sms settings but i still dont get any reports (although the texts do go through)
has anyone else had this problem? is it a handset problem or a network problem?

Are you sure? As far as i can tell you dont get a pop up, just an icon that appears in the corner of the message you just sent. Long press on the message and you get a list of options, one is View Report.

oh brilliant! i didn't realise that was the delivery report, ive just upgraded from the touch diamond where i would get an actual pop up msg notification.

It confused me to. While its not as nice as the Nokia pop up method, its better than the Winmo way, which is basically a full message, that i found really annoying.

Is there hack to show delivery pop ups or notifications
I don't want to use HANDCENT app
I was using opendesire ROM (4.0.36) later with original android mms app and it had that option (so cool ) it wasn't even showing the message icon before it was delivered.
(If you don't understand what I explained about opendesire ROM check it yourself)
AND NO I don't want to use opendesire ROMs too , although they are nice and frequently updated.

Issue 1801: Delivery report status icon for MMS/SMS
While "view report" works, displayed icon is not actually delivery notification. It is sent notification. It seems to be Android bug, not HTC's fault.

All I'm saying that this is fixed in Opendesire ROMs (try it!) isn't there a way to fix it on for example Modaco ROMs?

[Q] Today Screen Question

hey guys, was wondering if someone could help me out. I disabled sense and am now running the today screen bc it makes my phone so much faster. I customized my today screen and i checked off messaging in the today settings (item screen). but for some reason it only shows when i receive an email and not when i get a new text. can someone help me out n let me kno how to fix this. i just want to be notified on the today screen that i have a new sms (text ms)

Sending e-mail notification

Is anyone else having this problem? I can't find any reference for it anywhere. Using the stock email app on my G3, when I send an email I get this "Sending email" notification and it WON'T GO AWAY. If I send another email, another notification comes up, and so on and so on. The only way I can get rid of these notifications is to either reboot the phone, or turn off notifications in the email app, then turn them back on again. This is VERY frustrating! Please help. Thank you to anyone with a solution.
***Update*** It figures, as soon as I post the question I end up find the answer! (xposed module setting)

SOLVED - SMS - No vibrate and unable to read SMS on watch

Hi all,
I'm brand new to the forum and signed up in the hope that one of you knowledgeable folk would be able to help me with my new Huawei watch.
I use Go SMS Pro as my text message client, and am only receiving a 'new message' notification on my watch screen. It does not vibrate to tell me I've received it (does vibrate for new GMail's) and I am also not able to read the contents of the message, it just gives me the option to open on my phone.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to fix this it would be very very much appreciated...I've spent ages googling it but to no avail.

Ok, so I managed to fix this after a little trial and error. Thought I'd add this to my post in case it could possible help anyone.
Issue was I had message preview set to 'Private' in Go SMS settings, and also vibration set to 'off' (was using Light Flow for custom notifications)
Now I get a vibration and full notification on the watch.
Hope this helps someone!
