Found the page but no price. Looks bogus, no online store listed on their site sells that card.

Picture shows 8gb anyway..

Fast but dépend of reader/writter
i use both
- microsd 8GB sandisk class6
and
- microsd 4GB a-data class4
to see difference between them you need a very high performance reader/writter

Shows class 6 on front page, but no capacities or prices.
Anyone tried this one - Class 4 16GB, free worldwide shipping

Yeah, sorry, mis-read the site. I followed a link which said 16GB microSDHC, but then I didn't pay proper attention to the actual page, other than to read the specs. Must get eyesight tested

i find this news about microSD 16GB Class6

16gb micro sdhc card with mini and sd adapter
thanks for finding the item Bluesbrothers!...
I too just found the same item for a few dollars cheaper if ordering in the USA.
I love that it is class 6 and comes with both the mini and SD adapters already
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211380
just $57 + $3 shipping on Newegg (vs $63 + $10 shipping to USA on memoryc)
A small savings, but almost 20% savings!

Anyone seen this available in the UK?

Not to prove anyone wrong, but I thought this was a great deal on Class 6 (finally!). Even though 16gb mSDHC Class 2 had been around for a while (and cheaper),
I was always wary of how a card can receive a Class 2 rating... Here are my results:
- used this card reader: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134757
- using ATTO32 Benchmark (great tool!)
1st is 16gb MicroSDHC Class 6 from A-Data ($53.99 shipped)
- as you can see, on 64kb files and up to 8mb files, I'm getting roughly ~17mb read and ~10mb write
2nd is 8gb MicroSDHC Class 6 from A-Data (~$16)
- as you can see, on 64kb files and up to 8mb files, I'm getting roughly ~17mb read and ~13mb write

Interesting; have you done an equivalent comparison for a Class 2 or Class 4 card to see what difference it makes going from the widely available 16Gb Class 2 cards (as I have now) to this 16Gb Class 6?
I have noticed significantly more hanging and lock ups since 'upgrading' from an 8Gb Class 4 card to 16Gb Class 2 card - BUT I've already filled most of the additional space, so I don't want to go back....

Nope, that's the thing; I didn't want to pick up a Class 2 card.
Most memory/cpu manufacturers make memory, and then test it.
If its good, give it Class 6.
Bad? Test w/ Class 4.
Pass? OK. Still Bad?
Test w/ Class 2.
Pass? OK. Bad? Toss.
I mean, SRSLY, exactly what went wrong w/ the card to give it Class 2?! I might have a 4gb or 8gb Class 4 somewhere though...

I have a Kingston 16GB Class 2. I would of loved to have gotten class 6 but I got the Kingston at Amazon with a gift certificate I had. It is nice having all this space and hey it was free.

16GB TF Card
be careful!
it must be a scam!
I searched 16GB TF card on Google and MSN for a long time, the average price is further higher than it! and the lowest one is:
http://www.onthesource.com/16gb-micro-sd-tf-memory-card.html
I think US$63~US$80.00 is reasonable.

Canadian: $68 ($62 USD) http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=023753&cid=990.218.987

i bought mine for $25 that was a Class6 8Gb Sandisk ... ususally ebay prices are best im sure ud find better than that there

I think I will take door #3 as it is a one day sale(today). Even though less known than newegg or amazon, 1daysale.com has been around for awhile. A sandisk for $35 shipped...I'll bite.
After all, my Droid Charge has a sandisk class 4 and works great.
Pic with Epic Touch
think there are better deals out there try to google it instead of going to ebay and amazon first. think i found some 10 sandisk for 60 32gb
I picked up the 1daydeal one also. Good price as long as its legit.

You have to be careful of fake cards. I haven't bought from 1daydeal myself but many people over at slickdeals say they are fine...only complaint is a little slow to ship.
I've read that some class 10 cards not well supported with other recent Android phones...not sure about the ET4G though.
The biggest thing I've seen class of a card affect is video, that is when the video device is recording to the SD card. I don't have a card in my ET4G atm but to those who do, are videos you take written to the card or to the internal memory?
i just ditched my 32gb class 2 and ordered a 32gb class 10 to see if it helps w/ the 'wake' delay. right now w/ no sd card, there is no delay..w/ the class 2 card, there was about a 2 second delay after pressing the power button.
Does class 10 VS. class 6 make a difference with regards to our phones?
Sent from my ep4gt using XDA Premium
For live recording video or pics, use camera memory for fastest speed...then move to card for storage.
Intuitively, I'd think for these phones - who cares?
My last phone - different story!
I had a MyTouch 3G that was rooted and running CyanogenMod 6, with Apps2SD because the phone had almost no onboard storage. In THAT case, since my apps were being installed to the SD card, the speed (class) of the SD card was directly proportional to the responsiveness of the phone.
And even with a class 6 card in my phone, you'd never want to install an app to the card that had a widget you were using.
With this phone however, I doubt I'll run out of local app storage space (or, it'll be a sign I should be doing some clean up work), so I'd just be using the SD card for storing pics and music.
I'd check NewEgg for cards, they have good prices, better than Ebay and Amazon.
May be the last time that occurs. I just read an article stating the Samsung is going to start the mass production of it's on line of SD Cards. Samsung is nuts. If something is too expensive and effects their bottom line they just make it themselves and get into that market.
I have a bunch of 4GB and 8GB microsd cards, and I have noticed that the class 4 sandisk are faster than the pny, patriot, and Samsung class 6 I have. The class 2 sandisk and Samsung I have are faster than my pny class 4.

Too right. My Class 2 Sandisk card benchmark write speeds are ~5.5MB/s - enough for HD encoding and decoding.
Wonder if anyone has tried these in an Epic 4G yet?
deleted for dumb.
Class 10 cards have longer random access times than class 4 cards i believe
So only get a class 10 card for shooting HD video, for apps, lower class cards are superior
Ok, I paid $99 for a 32GB when it first came out over a year ago and I filled it fast... Why am I so tempted to order a $225 64GB card from SanDisk right now?

You didn't notice the video posted in this thread of a 64GB micro SDXC working in the galaxy S2...
PCMag specifically tested the 64gb card in an Epic 4g Touch and a number of other android devices and reports it works.
Personally I'm going to wait a month or two for the cards to start showing up at online retailers at a lower price, $219 is just too rich for my blood.

32GB microsd class 10

Anyone got 32GB microsd class 10 for their Note? If so where did you get it and how is it? I found Samsung ones on Amazon but even though it says that it is class 10 people are claiming that speeds are more like class 2. So, I want to get one but want one that was tried and works. Thanks!

Can't comment on that card but did get a Samsung 16GB class 10 and then found out (after I'd ordered it) that class 4 are the best for phones as you tend to be writing mixed content. Apparently the c10 cards are not optimised for this and can be slower than c4. I can say that I recently connected my Note as a USB device to write a 2.5GB video to my SD card and got over 10MB/sec so am very happy to have gone for the c10 version.

/sdcard/ is not external sdcard for SG Note. It is /sdcard/external_sd. As proof, check its size is not 16 GB (14053 MB) but more 12 GB (11168 MB) that is equal to the 16 GB of the phone minus memory allocated to the system.

Careful! I have ordered one of these (Lexar 32GB Class 10) from Amazon. At first it worked fine but after a few days the phone started showing "SD Card Damaged" and it wouldn't access it at all. Formatting didn't help. Yet, it would work just fine in an USB adapter in a PC...
The weirdest thing is that the EXACT same thing happened with my second Note (I returned the first one to Expansys and got one from Amazon.de £70 cheaper . No comprendo.
(When I checked kernel logs (dmesg) on the Note, there was a problem right on the block layer... It couldn't read the raw device (sdc))
Exactly the same problem with the Lexar 32GB Class 10 for me as well in both the GNote and GS2. Never had a problem with any form of SD card in the past. RMA'd the Lexar and will probably try a Samsung Class 10 next.

There is no real advantage of class 10 over class 4 in a mobile phone, where random read write is the key thing.
However I have seen good class 10 cards with good random read write speeds.
See towards the last few pages of the above thread.
If u can find the random read write of samsung class 10 , it would be great to know.

Recomend me an SD Card

I'm looking to buy an SD card (in the UK) but having never bought one i dont know which to get since there's about 50,000 choices. I dont really want to spend much more than £15 and im sure 16gb will be enough.
If anyone can offer any suggestions i'd really appreciate it.

Very true !
I got the Silicon Power 32GB Class 4 microSD. Haven't had a problem with it, was cheap (AUD $44) but is quite slow (about 2-3MB/s) which is expected from a Class 4 card.
Btw class 10 won't make huge difference in ur phone compared to class 4 but when copying to pc its a massive difference

I went ahead and ordered this one. I had a $25 Best Buy gift card that I was waiting to use, so with tax this card was only $29!
My current card gets 8.9 MB/s Write and 20.8 MB/s Read. If this new card doesn't match those numbers, I'll just Ebay this thing and make a bit on it and keep my current card. If this new card is faster, it'll pair quite nicely with my 32Gb Blue SG3 that I ordered! Thumbs up to the Op, thanks!
Doesn't look like we even have these in Canada. Boo!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Holy Handicap parking space batman...............
ended up costing me like $34 since I had a gift card floating around from probably a year and half ago. Great Find
DAMNIT! I gotta stay out of this forum. Great deal, but I need to hold off if I can. My uncle works for a company in Cali that makes SD cards. He is sending me a couple 32GB Micro SD's for free. Love to buy this, but a free 32 will do me just fine.
horrible write spd. especially since we're dealing with 64gb it matters much more now. i'll pass

Prove it.
i think its in reference to the class 6, I dont understand it myself but the card boasts up to 30 megs, but then calls itself class 6. Reading on Sandisk's website it says that the "class" rating is "worst case" scenario. The Class 6 seems to be geared for specs on video data while the 30 megs a sec spec talks about picture data.
could anyone clear up the info? ty
The SGS3 supports exFat, the recommended format to get the maximum speeds from these cards.
Other phones using this card were or are formatted as Fat32 which are not the correct format to take full advantage of this cards perks.

that is supposed to be uhs-i capable and the 30mb/s it's advertising is for the read speed. that's just strategy for companies, because they know not everyone sees the * and then reads the fine print for its description.
and as it says in sandisk's website the write speed is slower, that's where the class rating comes in it will write at speeds it is rated.
30mb/s read speed is achievable if the gadget reading the card is also uhs-i compliant.
the class ratings shows that their cards will reach it's class rating's read and write speed.knowing sandisk their speeds usually exceed their class rating's speed. class 6 will read and write at least 6MB/s, class 10 will read and write at least 10MB/s
http://www.sandisk.com/products/mob...crosdhc-and-microsdxc-uhs-i-cards-for-android
according to that only the 4gb is class 6.
8gb and up are all class 10.
btw, op's pic is different from sandisk's website.
this is his:

this is the official sandisk's:
it doesn't have the 1 that is enclosed, which is UHS Speed Class 1 (U1)
I was reading this
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1996/kw/class
and it talks about
Rated Speed (e.g. 15MB/s, 30MB/s, etc.) is maximum speed of the card and also what you would expect to approximately see in typical usage of writing or reading files on the card. This measurement is pertinent to still photography, especially for taking pictures with high resolution and/or saving in RAW format where the files created are very large.
and
Speed Class is a minimum speed based on a worst case scenario test. The Speed Class is important for video mode or camcorders, where the device is actually saving a steady stream of data.
It definitely is worded weird, maybe to confuse but it kind of sounds like 30MB/s is what you "could" see under optimal conditions where the device supports such speeds too. But, what do i know.

theres nothing to prove its listed on sandisk website and everywhere amazon
up to 30 mb/s read (reviewers get around 18mb read)
up to 30 mb/s write (reviewers get around 8mbs write)
I got one of these about 1 1/2 months ago when they were on sale, packaging said class 6.

Looking for a MicroSD card, SanDisk / Samsung UHS-I?

Hi,
So I'm finally out of space and I need a 32GB microSD card. I'm going to use it for storing photos/videos (directly written on the card) and music, and I'm also going to use it as a USB storage. I've been looking around the forums and found this Sandisk UHS-I card:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221067563602
Question is, does GS2 support UHS-I cards? Is UHS-I compatible with the device? If it is, will it work at maximum speed or will the device treat it as a class 10 card? I'm concerned my GS2 won't be able to work well with the UHS-I card because of incompatibility. Should I just get a regular Class 10 card instead?
Thanks!
Your fine but you missed the deal, yesterday Best Buy had it on sale for $20 and you didn't have deal with shipping
I just looked it up on Best Buy, they sell it for $70 now, isn't it a bit strange that I found it on eBay for only $27? The eBay seller got quite a lot of positive feedbacks and looks pretty reliable. I hope it's just Best Buy overpricing the item.
I still need an answer for my most important question: Does GS2 support UHS-I cards? Is this UHS-I card fully compatible with the device?
Thanks again.

It´s a chinese Fake
Maybe it´s a very poor quality microsd card
The Galaxy S2 has problems with UHS-I cards. Go with a Class 6 32GB card; they're more reliable.

What sort of problems? My S2 on LS8 JB only wrote to the card (UHS-1 64GB) at 6-8 MB/s making me think the card was defective but on LSJ it writes at 9-12 MB/s. ALso when performing tests my cpu usage is very high so I would recommend not underclocking during tests and maybe locking cpu with performance governor. Anyway I just wanted to share my experience of also being sceptical but now happy
i have a uhs-1 card in my s2 without any problems
I have a SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I 64GB, EU model SDSDQU-064G-U46A.

I've looked around the web and found some bad reviews on the SanDisk card (mainly unreliable card, dying in few months), so I looked instead for a Samsung one with great reviews, which seems a bit more reliable:

What do you guys think?
Not had any problems with my Sandisk 64GB UHS-1 card.

UHS-I cards are backwards compatible AFAIK, so they are probably operating at slower speeds than they would in a native UHS device.
Bought a Samsung 32GB Class 10 UHS-1 card from MyMemory for 21 pounds (=$33). Preferred to pay extra ~$7 to a reliable store and not waste my time and money on fake chink ones at eBay.
I'll let you know the details once I get it ^.^
what read/write speed you achieve?
Got the card today - exactly 10 days after I ordered ^.^ It's this card: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC/Samsung/Samsung-32GB-Micro-SDHC-Plus-up-to-48MB_s-Class-10
Pretty good results from what I've seen around.
Tested on I9100T 16GB with Omega ROM V16.2 (XXLSJ), whilst a few phone calls and endless WhatsApp messaging (in case any of it affects the results), Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit with WDC Green 500GB 5400RPM HDD.
What do you guys think?
Hello, i need help please.
I have Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) with Android 4.2.2 and only 16GB of memory.
Which microSD card you people recomend me to buy?
1. SanDisk Extreme Pro 16GB (read 95MB/s and write 90MB/s); SDSDQXP-016G
2. Samsung MicroSDHC Pro 16GB (read 70MB/s and write 20MB/s); MB-MGBGB
3. Toshiba Exceria Ultra High Speed Class 10, UHS-I Typ HD (read 95MB/s and write 30MB/s)
Which one is better?
Will i get this speed results on my phone when i will make a speed test of rear/write on microSD card or this results are not true?
Or will be the same if i buy SanDisk Ultra C10 (read 30MB/s and write 10MB/s) becouse of limitation on my device? Could Galaxy S4 do more that 10MB/s write?
I would like have a very fast microSD for recording my video in FULL HD without any lag.
Last year i had Galaxy S3 with SanDisk Ultra C10 and when i was recording, the video "sticking"

There are a LOT of fake cards floating around. You need to be extremely careful about your sources.
If a card looks unbelievably cheap, it probably is, but that doesn't mean that ones at normal price aren't fake either.
Take a look at http://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?page_id=1022 for some background from a few years back.
